Messy Short Curly Hair Using A Straightener!

This is suppose to be a messy hairstyle. I have very fine hair and it adds volume. If you don't like messy styles, this is not the video for you :)
You can also use a 3/4 curling iron for this look if you dont have a straightener. Just part the same sections, hold the curling iron upside down and wrap your hair around the barrel instead of clamping it inside!
What I used:
-Avanti Straightener
-Tresemme Tres Two Hairspray
-Got2b Heat Protectant
-Dannyco No.WTZ teasing/backcombing wood brush with boar bristles
Hey everybody, so i decided to do a short hairstyle for you guys today, um just because it's been requested a lot and i don't really ever do short hairstyles like ever um but yeah. I decided to do one since i am wearing my hair shorter. More often, i want to you know, play around with some styles um for shorter hair, so this is what my hairstyle looks like looks like this here it is from the back, so i hope you guys like it. If you guys want to see how i did this hairstyle, please stay tuned okay, so i parted off my starting, i part off by starting. I didn't. I started off by parting, my hair in the side here um on the left side on my right side, wow. What is wrong with me today? I can't even talk anyways um and then i'm going to be using my guardian angel heat, protecting curl, the white one um, because i'm going to be using heat on my hair. I noticed that my hair is like seems like a lot shorter than it was. I think i cut too much off but anyways, so i'm just gon na spray that in the hair i'm just gon na brush it through okay. So now what i'm going to do is i'm going to be using this uh avanti tourmaline ceramic curling iron that i just bought um. I wanted a thinner one because i don't know if you guys seen my straight other straightener. It'S really huge. It'S like looks like this. It'S humongous and i needed something for my short hair, so i could style my short hair a little bit better. So what i'm going to do is i'm just going to section my hair off, because you know i don't have that very much here. If you have thicker hair you're going to want to section it in more sections than this, and then i'm just going to clip it up, and i'm just going to take my hair so about this much and i'm going to take my my curling iron and my Straightener and i'm going to place it like this and i'm going to tip it up and then run it through pretty softly. So it goes like this, so i'm just going to take another piece and do the same thing for these bottom pieces like you, don't need to go all the way up to the root, so i'm just grabbing it like this pulling it this way and slowly going Through my hair till the end, i'm going to do the other side and then i'm just going to take my top layer down basically do the same thing so, depending how far you want this part, like i usually, like my part, pretty far um spray, the roots, A little bit and i'm just going to take a chunk from my front and then i'm going to not start right at the root. But, like start probably like halfway down my hair and then do the same thing. I just want a little bit more curl at the top here, so i'm just going to take it and you can just touch up wherever you feel needs to be touched up a little bit so pull that back and since the bottom is already done, i don't Really need to go over the bottom again, so that just gives some volume at the root. Let'S do it again with this piece: i'm gon na go right through and i'm just gon na pull it backwards and up and let go because the bottom should already be done. So i'm gon na do some of these pieces. So what i'm doing now is i'm taking my bangs and i'm curling them under just at the root. This will just give us some volume at the root, so it's not so flat to my head and then i'm going to do the same for the back. I'M just going to take it at the root and curl it under, and i'm just going to shake up my hair a little bit just to loosen the curls and then you can back home. It kind of sometimes i like to because we're so fine and you want to give it a little bit more volume, it's kind of cute to um back comb it along the shaft of the hair, because it pulls it up a little bit and it gives it Like a little bit different, and it makes it gives you more volume, when you do that, and i'm just going to do a little bit at the root and a little along like underneath the hair just along the shaft of it, like i've, been doing. For the rest of it, so you could just fix any pieces that have gone astray. Basically, i mean. Obviously, this is not like a really neat tidy look, but you just want to spray it. I'M just getting it back a little bit more underneath my hair and then just fix any like this piece feels like being straight when i don't really want it to there, we go that's better, i'm just gon na i like having really i like, having volume up. My crown hairspray hairspray my best friend when it comes to styles like this okay, so i don't know you can keep it like this, it's kind of like a crazy. It looks kind of crazy, but i think it's really fun um. Just really. I don't know it's just really kind of cute. I find that when you have short hair it tends to make you look older, so you want to kind of go away from that, and i think this is a really cute style to kind of um. You know, make you look young and make you look like you have a lot here yeah. I hope you guys, like this tutorial and i'll talk to you guys later bye,

Maria Barrera: Actually if you give the straightener 2 full turns, the curls look more full and with more volume :) it does work on short hair. I have my hair cut a line and extremely short so I know it works.
