Hey how you guys doing hope you guys are doing fantastic. I wanted to come and share with you something that I noticed that I've been doing incorrectly with my hair in the past. I don't use a towel to dry my hair and I would notice that my hair would get really netted really frizzy, so I started using a t-shirt to dry my hair, so I'm well on the way I got lazy. I stopped using my t-shirt and I started using a towel again and I noticed that my hair had all this stuff inside of it. When I did my twist outs - and I know in some of my videos - you guys have seen that I had balls in my hair or what looked like flakes in my hair was actually residue from my towel. If you see this clip right here, I did a tutorial on a hairstyle and if you take a look at my hand, you can see some burgundy dots all over my hand, that is residue from my towel and that ends up in my hair. So I really want to stress with you guys the importance of using a t-shirt to dry your hair instead of a towel. It definitely cuts down on frizz and tangling and netting, and it also prevents you getting residue in your hair. Now, as far as a t-shirt, you don't want to use a t-shirt that you care about and make sure it's actually a t-shirt, not something that has any kind of textures on it sequins print, because that print could potentially bleed a plain color t-shirt, preferably one that Matches your hair color, so I would use black or a very, very dark blue. I use a cheap shirt from forever 21. It'S just like a regular black shirt v-neck, not something that I use anymore. It'S kind of stretched out, and I use this to wash my hair and this works for me. So I'll quickly show you a clip of how I use a t-shirt to drive my hair. When you use a t-shirt, they don't necessarily absorb the same way. A towel. Does you do feel the shirt getting sucked, whereas it's Howell, you kind of feel it absorbing into the towel? So that is one difference, but you will also notice a big difference in your hair when you t-shirt, try it if you absolutely cannot use a t-shirt and you want to use a towel, and now I prefer to use a towel. It'S 100 % cotton! This towel right here doesn't have anything raised no raised strands. I could potentially get stuck in the hair, and so it's how like this would be ideal, and so what do I mean by raised? I mean like fluffy, you see how this is very fluffy. You see all the texture in this all this stuff right here can potentially get stuck in your hair. Do you see the difference? Okay, this towels that have this kind of texture. This can get stuck in your hair. This usually won't, but, like I said, I would prefer a t-shirt over both of these alright guys. Thank you so much for watching. If you have these sort of magic tricks or if you notice a difference in your hands, when you see just like it, you guys prefer only towels right in here. Mercedaz Holmes: I use t-shirts to dry my hair. I've been natural for more than 10 years now, and for 15 months I've been loc'd. Locs are lint magnets. Lol. I prefer a knit, Cotten/ spandex shirt. Black or white works for me.

Loc’d & Lovely: I normally use only a towel, I've tried the raging and it doesn't get my hair dry enough. I'm not a fan of the water running down my neck or face lol. So I normally use a regular towel and pat it dry then let it air dry before I do anything else to it.
