Meet Winston our 3 months old British Shorthair kitten

So everything is ready to go and get our british shorts hair. Today um he will be 14 weeks old, so we can't wait. So i got in um some pouches purina, pouches junior. It says um he's 14 weeks, so it says to give him um about two of these pouches a day and he will have these um croquettes and i will leave them for him all day and i got him some little treats as well the whiskers little treats So we're all ready, so the cat has managed to go under the sofa in this little nook. So i'm fighting he's gon na stay there for a few hours we'll see. So the update is, after the whole night spent under the sofa. Pudding has come out and he's exploring and playing a little bit, but he still seems to be a little bit nervous, which i guess is normal, so he's making little squeaky noises very sweet. Do do do so. L: Yes he's nervous, strange house, no momma, lots unsecured, and humans watching him and standing up all the time. If you want to make friends with a cat then sit down or even lay down, so that you are less intimidating.
BLUEPURGATORY: The first night with my kitten was a sleepless night. He hid at the back of the TV and would not come out until we went to bed, then he cried until I went downstairs and only calmed down when I cuddled him up and decided to sleep on settee all night, but every time I tried to sleep he decided he wanted to play.

GenWivern2: Well ...what a super kitten you have there, and I'm impressed by the effort you made to provide such a cat friendly environment. He's a lucky boy, and if my experience is anything to go by he'll reward you amply. Ours is 14 years old now, about the size of a puma and mostly adorable; frequently underfoot but capable of vanishing mysteriously into tiny spaces, which is a neat trick for a yard of cat. She's a tortoiseshell-and-white which makes for a very striking, magnificent beastie with oodles of character, but I think you might have dodged a potential attitude problem by going for a grey tom. ;-)

Jennifer Holloway: He is a beautiful Kittie. While you were super prepared. A couple of tips; cats don't like strong smells. Don't put the litter so close to the food. Additionally, the water bowl shouldn't be next to the food either. Finally, you don't want to leave food out all day as you indicated. British shorthairs are predisposed to obesity. You want to measure the food as instructed for each meal. Enjoy your new kitten! Once he settles you will find his energy & playfulness never ending!
