How I Wrap My Natural 4C Hair At Night To Keep It Straightened Through The Week

Hey everyone, so i flat out my natural hair for the first time in a previous video, and this is what it looks like the same day. This is actually later that day i'll make sure to link that video. If you haven't seen it yet but um, i was actually surprised. My hair came out pretty good. It'S pretty bouncy. It'S not super super straight, but i do classify myself as 4c hair, so i feel like it got as straight as i could get it at home without using an excessive amount of heat, and now i'm just ready to wrap my hair. So this is actually the first time i'll be wrapping my hair since i went natural - and this is exciting to me, because i have not wrapped my hair in almost two years, so my hair is still, in my opinion, it's still kind of on the short side Or it's kind of like an awkward length, so it's a little difficult to get it wrapped around, but i'm just basically taking my paddle brush as you can see, and i'm like going really slow like you have to be really patient and slow because i just want To make sure all the hair stays up so that, when i put my scarf on, all of the hair could just be laying down flat. So, as you can see, i am holding the top of my head so that the hair will not like get puffy at the top and buckle. I want all of the hair to stay around the lower perimeter of my head going around, so i basically want the top crown of my head to be as flat as possible, so this just takes patience and just keep going around until you get it smooth and Then once you get it smooth, then i'm going to go ahead and moisturize and seal my hair, alright. So i'm using the rs hair moisturizing hair lotion, as my moisturizer i wasn't 100 sure if i should be using this or not because it does have water in the ingredients and my hair reverts very quickly when it's in the presence of water. So i just figured i'd just take a little amount just to you know, test the waters to see, but my hair actually did really good with this. I'M going to be using this right here as my oil, i have so many hair products. I found this on my cabinet: it's the cream of nature straight from eden, it's just like a little hair oil or whatever, so i'm just putting that on top of the hair moisturizer to seal in that moisture, all right now, i'm just going to go in with My board bristle brush - and i use this as a last step, just to make sure everything is as smooth as i could possibly get it all right. So this is a scarf that i like to use when i do wrap my hair i'll leave it down in the description box, the link to it. But it has these two long sides to it, and i like it, because i can get my hair um really pinned down so to speak with this without figuring out how to wrap a scarf. So, as you can see, i'm pulling in the direction that my hair is being wrapped, so my hair, looking at the screen, my hair is being wrapped to one side, so i kind of pulled it taut that side first and then i'm just gon na um, basically Crisscross the sides - i keep crisscrossing the sides until i get them both flat, so once i make sure i got the scarf really tight and flat, i just secured the little ends down in where they won't be sticking out. I just basically just tuck them down in so this is actually the next day and i was excited to see what in the world was going to be the results of my hair, and so i'm just going to get ready to take it down. I'M going to use this um this glosser first, this is luster's pink. It'S like a pink lotion glosser. I really love this stuff. It smells super good and you can also use it as a heat protectant and you can use it as like. A hair shine mist, and i also use it because i wanted to like try to reduce frizz and everything right here. I was looking crazy because i wasn't for sure like i was like okay. This is looking crazy because i was taking it down and i was like looking like yeah. This is not looking right and i was actually getting really worried because i was like okay. My hair is looking like it's standing up everywhere. It didn't have any kind of bounce or any kind of curl like like how i like my hair. I like how my um i like my ends to have like a little uh curl to them a little a bump, so to speak. So but anyway, i just basically just kept working with my hair, because i was actually on the way to school, and i thought i was going to have a cute little sideburn, but my roots are puffy, as you can see. So that was not about to work. So i just want to tuck that back on in, but you know how like, when people had their hair straight, they had a little sideburn part straight hanging out, be super cute, but yeah. My um roots are already starting to revert a little bit so, but anyway, once i got my um, my comb, that's looking! That'S a little more fine tooth on it. It started looking a little better um. You know once i started combing it down with the more fine-tooth comb. So basically, this is the results of the next day. Like i said, it's not super straight, it's not super silky, but um. This is tight for hair. For me, my hair is very thick. It'S dense and it's a very coarse, so this is what straightened hair looks like on me.
