The Secret To Perfect Doll Hair! Shadow High Veronica And Naomi Storm Restyle

Foreign s it's keezy here today and today we will be restyling. The shadow, High twins, Veronica and Naomi storm. Are you guys excited? I'M excited. This is what you guys voted on. I know I finally got the video out um. My Moline custom had to come out. First, because these girls took a little bit longer than I expected, I was actually waiting for USPS to deliver a package they took forever but we'll be trying some pretty awesome new products in this video trying out some new techniques, so you'll definitely want to stay tuned. For this one, because it's going to be a good one, okay and we're gon na start off this restyle, as we always do, I'm going to start out with rinsing their hair in cold water, because rainbow High dolls are notoriously known for having tons and tons of Gel in their hair - and these were no different. So what I do is just rinse the hair under the tap with some cold water until the gel softens up and then I'll just take my flea comb here, just to kind of make sure that none of the strands are sticking together and to make sure there's No more gel residue, I'm gon na go in with my Suave daily clarifying shampoo and I'm just going to spread about a medium amount of that throughout the hair and then scrub scrub, scrunch swash wash wash. I don't know I don't know what that was and then once the hair has been thoroughly washed, I'm going to turn the tap back on to about the warm setting and rinse out all of the soap foreign, and the next step in my process is to condition The hair, so I'm going to take my Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine conditioner, I'm going to pour that in her hair in a pretty generous amount, I'm just going to massage it in and then I'm going to use my flea comb to make sure that all the Strands are coated with the conditioner. This is my favorite conditioner for my rainbow High dolls, because it just weighs the hair down and makes it kind of stick together and make it nice and smooth and on Naomi, I'm just gon na repeat the exact same process. I would love to know from you guys in the comment section down below which storm twin is your favorite. I personally say that I think that Veronica is my favorite. I don't know why. I think that she's, just kind of like the leader am I am I wrong for thinking that in this show, I feel like she's, just like the leader out of the two twins, like she's, the more dominant one. I don't know if that's the word that I wanted to use, but yeah, which twin, is your favorite, and do you think that the shadow High twins are better than the rainbow high twins? I mean, I think, it's pretty obvious that they clearly are, but you let me know in the comment section down below. Thank you. Foreign, Veronica and Naomi's hair has been cleansed and conditioned I'm gon na. Let them sit for about 30 minutes to an hour all right and once the conditioner has had a chance to coat the hair, I'm just gon na go in with some cold water again and just rinse out any excess conditioner. Thank you so, like I said, we'll be trying out some new products today, so today we'll be trying out Volks water wax. I have to shout out Daws or whatever on Tumblr. They made an amazing post about some products that they use on their dolls. So what water wax is supposed to do it's just supposed to make the hair really sleek and very fly away free, and I definitely think that it does that I just use a small amount on each side of her hair. I had to split everything in half and this applied kind of like pinch size of the product on each side, mainly focusing on the ends. This product was four dollars and you can actually get it from the Volks USA website. I definitely recommend it because I tried this on my Ainsley doll and it basically transformed her hair. It was amazing foreign okay into the styling portion, so we're going to start out with Veronica. So I initially had this plan to kind of give her those little swoopy loopy things that a lot of people on Instagram have been doing want to try it out. But I was gon na give her some pieces that were kind of pulled back to the back, but I quickly realized that that wouldn't allow enough forehead space for me to do like the edges. Swirl thing you'll see what I'm talking about. So I'm showing you my mistake anyway, so that you can see it because I end up just giving her a high ponytail, just leaving two strands out for me to swirl, but again you'll see that in a second okay. Thank you. So after I secured the tendrils in the back of her hair, I went ahead and attempted to do these swoops. So basically, what you want to do is use a ton of water and a ton of gel, and this took me so many tries to get right. Oh, my God, I literally kept getting up and coming back having to take a break, because this was probably like the hardest thing for me to figure out that I've ever tried to do. I initially tried to do the swoops again with those two potentials kind of pulled back then I realized that I wouldn't have enough space to get that done. I also wasn't liking the way the design looked. Not only that, but another issue that I was running into is that the hair wasn't sticking to the forehead every time I would create the loop, it would come up off the forehead and it was just sticking up and it just didn't look right. So this was a process for me. I didn't even end up like filming the final result. I got so frustrated in it, so you'll just have to watch this time lapse of me struggling for probably hours and hours with girls. Please foreign s. This is what I ended up coming up with so after I finally finished those swoops. I ended up just giving her some hair to cover her rubber band at the very top, because you know we do not like exposed rubber bands on this channel. It'S like the worst thing, ever laughs, all right and now to give her hair a little shaping. So after I washed it out, there wasn't really a whole lot of curl left to it, except at the very ends, and I wanted to give her kind of an S kind of curl. I actually have a brand new method that I've been using to curl my doll's hair. Obviously I still use my Hot Tools curling iron, but I do have a new method. It'S actually been about four or five months since my original tutorial for curling nylon, doll, hair. So let me know in the comment section down below, if you would like an update on that and once I'm finished curling the hair, I'm just gon na go in and separate the curls and then once I've separated them a little bit. I'M gon na go in with my flea comb and my pet brush just to kind of smooth the curls together, so just to go back to the water wax for a second. What I love about that product is that it makes the hair so much better when it's curled, like it just makes the hair stick together more and it just reshapes the curls so much better. So I will definitely recommend giving that water wax. If you like to curl your doll's hair and then when you brush it together, it just looks so amazing. It'S definitely a product that I'll be using a whole lot and, as a finishing step, I wanted to give her hair a little bit of Sparkle. I did get these gems from Amazon and yeah. I love the way this little aspect turned out. I feel like it's just like I envisioned, okay and after all of my struggles with Veronica, I wanted to give myself something easy to do on um, Naomi. So, of course I did my signature hairstyle at this point two braided space buns. You can literally never go wrong with that. So, of course, what I'm going to start out by doing is creating two pigtails. Then I had the idea that I wanted her to have short hair. I already have an original set of twins, so cutting the hair on the second one didn't really bother me, but yeah. I just want her to have a short flipped Bob. I thought that would be really cute for her look and definitely different from her original look after I did that I just fed in some chain into the ponytail in the exact same way, I did for my glitch doll and then I just braided the chain into The hair just to kind of give the hair a little bit more of I don't know an edge to it. Thank you and once the chain had been braided into the hair, I'm just gon na wrap it around to create a bun. Sorry, you couldn't really see it in this clip. I do show it from another angle. Thank you, and so I wanted to keep her bangs, as is so I'm not going to do, is just reshape them, so I just sprayed a little bit of water on them. Then I took my eyebrow brush with a little bit of got to be glued freeze spray on it just to hold the bangs in place, and then the second product we'll be trying out is the Volks treatment spray. So it's just like a silicone spray that Smooths the hair as well. All I did was spray one pump of that into my hands and applied it mainly on the ends just to smooth everything out, then, after that, what I did was take my hot tools, Pro straightening iron, and I wanted to give the hair a little bit more Flip, it kind of already had some natural flip from the hair being curled in the box, but I just wanted to just simply exaggerate that a little bit more, and I don't think that I mentioned this, but all Volks products are specially formulated for your doll's hair.
