Trying The Beauty Works X Molly Mae Hair Straightener | Grwm

Everyone, it's shannon welcome back to my channel and welcome back for a brand new video. So for today's video i've got such an exciting testing video for you guys now. Obviously, lockdown has come to an end. I'M going out. I'Ve got so much books over the summer and this hair game needs to be stepped up and, as you guys know, i am at uni me and mom share. Ghd'S and she's actually got the ghds at home um. So i've been straightening my hair, with literally a hair dryer. I love that and i needed some new strainers. In my life i mean when i saw the big works, bodybuilding ones i was like okay, they are the strongest that i need. I was walking back home. The other day thinking i need some strainers, let's get some and then i received this email, which actual pinch me moment um, so i have actually got the beauty works. Money made straighteners right here. Beauty box have very very kindly sent these out to me to try for you guys, like i was so excited. I'Ve heard so much good stuff about beauty, works and all their products, so i'm so excited to give you guys my honest opinion and try them out for you guys today, my hair's a little bit of a frizzy mess, i've freshly washed it and just quickly blow-dried. Let'S just get into the video honestly, i feel like such a beauty youtuber. With this little backdrop, i haven't actually opened these yet so we're gon na open them up now when you open up the box. This is what the case looks like it's actually stunning, and you also get this little pamphlet, i'm guessing this is telling you all about the straighteners. This is the straightener kit, so i'm pretty sure we get some other bits in here as well. So when you open up the bag, you get this hair brush. I will just quickly ring up on this hair brush, because i've never had like a hair brush like this before. I know they're meant to be really good for your hair um, but these are good for all hair types. Student extensions - and these are meant to reduce, like snagging on the hair, meant to be better for your hair, better for your scalp. It just says: beauty works and, while you mate on the back and of course, the little heat protective gloves, so these are the strainers they're in this like gorgeous, pink and like pearly. Color also have like a little look switch on the side, so you can lock them in place and then unlock them. I'M going to tell you a little bit about these strainers, because when these came out - oh my god, these are not the most insane very straight. As ever so they do have like a heat adjustment settings on actually set these on 80 to 220 degrees, which i think is so good because i don't know about anyone else. But obviously i straighten my hair and then, when i sleep in it always get those little kinks. So if i can have it on, like a nice low setting just straighten out those little kinks like the next day, which is ideal instead of like thrusting my hair off all the time plates have also got like a ceramic coating, which is meant to be better. For like sleeker hair, and then they also have these like little infrared lights, which is also meant to help with having really sleek hair, and that's something that i really struggle with getting my hair like nice and sleek and shiny. So i'm hoping this is going to absolutely change my hair game as a little overview of the strainers i'm now going to plug them in and turn them on and show you guys how to use the heat setting and all that stuff. I'Ve just switched them on and these honestly heated up so quickly they went to like 200 degrees in like 10 seconds. I swear here are the little infrared lights then to adjust the temperature, which i think is so cool. This is the little temperature thing here, literally just twist this to adjust your temperature so easy. I'M gon na have them set on 180, because that's kind of the usual temperature that i straighten my hair at just gon na try and use this brush. Oh, my god that feels so nice. On my hair, i love the phrase. I have also sent me out. A couple of products like heat, protects and stuff. First up we have got the beautybox heat protection spray, which is suitable for up to 230 degrees. Obviously, heat protect is literally like the most important step when styling your hair. I was like a non-heat protection user for so long and ever since i've started using heat protectant, my hair, it has made the biggest difference like i've noticed my hair's growing more. It'S a lot more healthier like if you don't use heat protect you need to that smells incredible. Then we have got the beauty words dream shine, spraying, which i mean is basically the key to having really really shiny hair. This is a heat activated spray. So, basically, when you straighten your hair, it will make it really really sleek and shiny, which i'm so excited to try, and this also helps to reduce frizz as well, which is great because i mean look at this frizzy mess. I'Ve got on my head. That also smells incredible. Oh on to the straighteners. I just want to mention another really cool thing about the little like heat setting where the thicker bits of your hair are. You can have it on like a high heat and then, where it's like a bit more damaged, you can change it and have it low, because the heat change is so quick and easy. I'M thinking i'm going to do like 180 and then like on my end. So i'm going to curl them in i'm just going to like maybe do it to like 150, we'll see how we go, because these are quite small plates, they're, really good for precision and stuff. So i'm just going to take like some smaller sections of hair. Just for the top part i'm straightening up to like here and then i'm going to go around after and then curl in the bottoms with a bit of a lower heat. Tell me guys, have you been able to go out and get a table because i have not been able to get hardly any tables booked anywhere um living in a uni city is basically impossible to get a table anywhere. Sometimes in the week it's okay but like at the weekend, you've got no chance. Like things are booked up for months, these straighteners are actually doing wonders like i've literally gone over. My hair, like once, but just turn the temperature down to 150 and i'm gon na curl in my ends. So let's give this a go. I literally love the whole like cold in a hairstyle. Oh, my god, how cute i've got short hair. You guys have been loving my short hair on tick tock by the way, i'm loving the love on the short hair, because i don't really like it that much. I feel like this whole curled in style on short hair, looks so cute and that curled so easily. Oh, my god, that's like the perfect little like in flick. You guys know like i'm, not the best at doing hair. So, like this sort of thing, does stress me out a little bit because i'm like, hopefully it looks good, but it's actually doing an unreal job. Oh, my god, and we just appreciate how easy that was, i'm obsessed, it looks so cute and i've only literally done the bottom section. I have got so much uni work to do it's actually, not okay. Um i've got two weeks to basically do it all. I haven't started any of it, but you guys just know right now how unorganized i am with life, and i need to get organized. I feel like this year. This is done, organized shannon, but as soon as i'm done come summer, i'm going to be an organized queen. I'M manifesting me being looking ice cream, just put them back on 180. This is actually magical. How easy this is to do. Let'S do this little flick. Look! How wavy these bits of the back are? I used to have really curly hair, but i mean love. I'M a straight hair coward. Just got this little section and wow. That was so good. I don't want to bore you guys with me doing like my full head of hair. However, i wanted to just quickly jump on here and give you guys like a little mini update. I feel like i've just got like one more section. Maybe to do - and it looks insane like i said i feel like i've - said a million one time - shannon you don't need to explain again. However, this was honestly the easiest to do and i, the short hair, is growing on me a little bit just just a little bit we're going to do the last section now and look. I think my hair ever looks so good for this side. I am having it on a heat set of 150., but if you guys remember, but if you're an og from log down one and follow me since the beginning, you will know that i curled my hair and my curl is basically broke and overheated and they burnt. My hair off and it's still not grown back so just on this side, i'm doing it on 150, just because i don't want to like overdo it. The series is on 150, it's actually straightening. So well guys. This is the finished hair and i'm like freaking obsessed. It actually looks insane and my hair honestly feels incredible so, like silky and smooth like, i don't actually think my hair has ever looked like this. Nice smells so soft and smooth it feels so healthy. I mean to be dramatic. This is a little bit life-changing for my hair and get me to like a pub garden in this cute little hairstyle. So i'm not finished yet. We'Ve got one more little step. They also sent out to me their little argan serum. So i'm gon na put a couple drops on my hand and just go over my hair to just smooth any bits down like i did mention like burn half my hair off. Sometimes i have a little bit of flyaways, so i thought it's just going to be a really nice. A little final touch to my hair. I just added a couple drops and i'm just going to like warm it up in my hand, oh smells insane and then just rub it on my hair, just like smooth it down a little bit.
