Hey guys welcome back to my channel today i'll, be showing you guys how i achieved my knotless braids. These braids are super beautiful, i'm obsessed with them and i'll show you from start to finish of my braiding experience. I wouldn't my hair at this super cute. Beautiful salon in lagos, nigeria called katlia, and i also got the extensions from them. It'S a human hair type extension and i really loved how it came out. I really really loved the entire experience of getting my hair done there, so i'm gon na show you guys how i go from basic to banging i'm using this braiding extension from them. It'S called lotus, braiding extension from catlia and i'm using two colors. One of them is m70 and then the other is, i think, color 1b. I'M not sure what they call it in their color but um. Yes, i'm basically using m70 and like a dark brown shade. That'S what i have here and then we're going to mix it together so that it gives more of like a seamless blend. It'S not really a tutorial, let's get into this video. So if you know my hair is really really short. I have a tiny, winnie, afro twa squad. Yes, shout out to my tw squad out there and i cut my hair off in january, and so i've been braiding, my hair, just to make sure that it helps with you know my length and all of that and protection. Just is a good protective hairstyle. For me, so i am braiding the hair now or they are braiding the hair now and i tried to go for more of like a medium-sized braid, not too small and not too big, so they started off braiding my own hair first before they started. Attaching the extensions in almost like they were doing a gunner, weaving braid, and then they take it all the way down. However, when they get to the bottom, they tie it rather than finishing it off to the end, and you see why and i started off with almost like a gold and brown at the back and slowly once i got to the top. I added more gold to the top because at first i was quite scared. I thought it was going to be too light for me and i'm not sure why, because i typically do really bright braids, but their hands were so light. It wasn't tight at all, because i don't like my braids to be too tight and you can see that they're braiding my hair and where my hair ends. They add a bit of edge control just to tuck. In my hair on getting to the middle of my hair, because my hair is natural, she did a bit of blue out just to stretch out my hair and so that it would be easy for it to blend in seamlessly with the extensions. Now that my hair is properly stretched out, she went further to cut out a very straight line. Sorry about the light guys. The lighting was just really really bad on this day, but i hope you guys enjoy the video anyways. So you can see that she's sectioning out my hair um before she then goes in to start to cut out the really really tiny boxes. And if you notice, i've said about my hair before my edges are very very um. My edges are not full, and i've been like that, since i was born released. I actually leave out the hair on my edges, like my baby hairs and a little bit more. Just so that it doesn't come off and i don't like to put too much tension on my edges. So, as you can see, she starts off with my hair and slowly attaches another, a tiny strand of the extension, the braiding extension and she goes to add. Another tiny strand and slowly the bigger strand and then she braids it all the way down to not the end, but almost the end, and you see the reason why guys, like i said like this took roughly about four hours and i had three people braiding, my Hair and one person giving the extension at some point. It was two people reading my hair, actually sorry about the quality of this video. I just really wanted to share, because i get asked loads of questions about my braids. What style like what colors i use and where i braided my hair - and this is my first time trying these guys out and to be honest, i really enjoy the experience. I know i'll definitely be back soon to get my hair braided and you can see how neat it looks even with my hair being really short and really scanty in front. They found a way to make it look seamless. I mean this is a hairstyle that i think that if you have, if you're a twa, if you have a teeny weeny afro, you can definitely rock more smaller braids, because i had done like a big braid before which didn't work. My hair, because my hair was too short for that, so i made sure that she also made a center part, because i love to rock my hair in center part. And yes, it was perfect to be very honest, now she's, just finishing off the hair, and you can see that at the bottom of the hair she left out some parts of the extension, because the tips of the extension is quite curly and then she's adding a Bit of dark and lovely um leave-in conditioner, just to make it fluffy and she's just going to trim off streaming of the the excess hair um just to make it shorter, because it was too long which she's going in with edge control just to secure my baby Hairs and just to get the hair on fleek, okay, i can't be having my hair looking crazy, like the back looking nice and the front looking crazy, so she didn't need full and just gave me the baby hairs on fleek. You can see how neat and precise this hair is and she's just trying to activate the curls, the curls at the bottom of the hair, and that is it. I went from basic to body in five hours. It took long, but it's perfect. I love how this hair looks on me. If you enjoyed this video, please don't forget to thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and i'll be sure to see you guys soon. Bye,
