Hey Sugarfoot and welcome to Brittany's room, so this video will be about how I braid my super short hair. So because my hair is so short, I have to make sure the section is really small. This will allow me to get a better grip. I also add a bit of whipped shea butter just to add a layer of protection under the braids to attach the yarn to my hair. I'M braiding it as if it was a cornrow. So I'm adding here as I go down just to ensure that it doesn't slip, and I continue in that manner until I'm fully past the link of my own hair, which is not too long, and this is just me showing my progress. Y'All. This process took so long cuz, so I couldn't really record it, but oh my gosh. I think I was going crazy. While I was doing my hair now, I'm just showing how I section my hair. I use bobby pins in a rat tail comb to get it accurate as possible. I also had to do a few of the front over just to make sure there was no tugging on my edges, because you know i need those now, I'm just giving you another. Play-By-Play using a rat tail comb, some bobby pins and showing you how I section off my hair when doing yarn braids, I only use three strands of yarn. I take one and wrap it around the other two in a t-shape we're trying to describe it as best as I possibly can. Hopefully, you guys can follow along with the demonstration, and that is usually how I start my braids. Now I'm just adding the yarn in as if I was starting a cornrow, adding hair as I braid along now, I'm just repeating those steps section of my hair using a bobby, pin breaking off three pieces of yarn, creating a t-shape, adding it into my hair. As if I was doing a cornrow, which means I'm just adding here as a braid down now when I get to the bottom of the braid, I take the longest strand of yarn and wrap it around the bottom and create a knot. Then I cut the excess yarn off and burn the end, only a thousand more to go yeah. It took way longer than I expected to do this. I don't remember it. Thank you so long like honestly, don't remember anything so that was like. I felt like I was going to say waiting right here for so long. What is done - and this is staying in for at least but I know I asked you guys and chips or hip or like I look cool I'll - make a whole video dedicated to camera. But I decided that I would like to try shed a powder and I'm gon na, contain it with the rice for which I'm going to show you how I operate those two into my hair routine, but what I did notice. Okay, so I actually wanted to break my hair last week, but I felt like it was too short like in the sense that I would have to braid it too tight in order for me to catch it. So what I did right every morning and every night I massage my scalp with some oils and some shea butter in, but this week it was more than uh for me to braid it without it being too tight. So my house, my hair, my house, my hair. It'S not tight like I don't so I'm glad you're all good um, but that's just goes to say that massaging your scalp actually does work. So I'm going to continue through that. This is the finished product. I did a little bit of magic, but it works on paper like thank you for watching my video, please like comment and subscribe turn on a notification bell, so that you know when I go to an hour. I have an upload comment. Okay, that's kind of important. I like to keep you all, updated and I'll see you guys in the next video and yeah. Oh, oh Apple, you wan na say you

That's Nikki TheOneAndOnly: Girl I bought the yarn and I'm gonna do it you did awesome hope mine turn out good! Wish me luck!!

MTfoalluver: I am amazed you can braid into such short hair. I love it and appreciate the tutorial. In the last two years I have had large patches of my hair fall out due to Lupus. The first time my hair was just above my waist . I braided my hair bringing it over the bald patches on the top and side. My natural color was strawberry blonde. When I couldn't cover the bald spots anymore, I shaved the rest of my hair off. My hair fell out after an area swelled, turned red and was red hot to the touch. These areas filled with fluid and were excruciating. Every spot with fluid or heat felt like a red hot spike was being drilled through my head. After 19 doctors couldn't help me, even when my entire head broke out with puss oozing out of every sore. I finally tried a horse medication that draws and stinks. This drew the fluid out of my head. Removing the fluid reduced my pain. After that my hair grew back curly , thicker and dark blond. Six months later this happened again, shaved my head again. This time my hair came back less curly and darker with lots of Grey. The third time I lost all of my hair above my ears and I didn't loose my bangs. Now, my hair is course, semi curly, dark brown and Grey and white. I am going to try braiding the hair that didn't fall out the 3rd time and try to make a bun to cover the top of my head. I think the top is too short for me to braid into yarn. You have inspired me to try this. It will take me a long time, because I am extremely weak after being sick in bed with covid for 6 months. Thank you so much for showing me how to do this,

Jus Gie: Girllllllll my tender headed scalp is crying!!! I would literally pass out.. your grip game on 1,000,00

Mary J Flanagan: I have been looking for this video! I recently cut my hair. I can braid it and roll it with blue sponge rollers. I use conditioner, gloves shampoo soap and cow ash. Then, I use let's jam gel in orange jar with Marc's plan o luster hair grease to roll my hair. In between, I use Chi serum for shine and Blue Magic hair conditioner (grease) with added liquid castor oil to oil my scalp. Last week, my cur ok s only lasted a couple of days and weren't shiny. This week, my hair has lasted several days. Even without a night scarf. This morning, I added Ch8 serum before work, but due to my spice factory job, I wash it weekly. Your hair turned out very pretty. However, as a burn survivor, I'm thinking about doind maybe 4 inch long braids or wrapped style with non flammable yarn if I can find out. Thanks!
