Hi everyone, its Vanessa and welcome back to my channel and welcome to this new video and today, I'm gon na teach you how to get these loose curly waves. I'Ve been seeing a lot of people rock them, and I really like them. So I figured out how to do them in a very easy way and I'm gon na teach you how to do it today. So if you want to learn it keep on watching, but first, if you haven't, subscribed, make sure to subscribe and turn on the little box. So you never miss out on a new video. Now, let's get started so for this look I used the Revlon a flat iron. I rarely use any flat irons, but when I do it's probably just to make any curly looks and I'm using the Paul Mitchell heat seal. This spray is just something that you add before adding heat to your hair and it protects it, and finally, you're just gon na need a comb, some bobby pins and a scrunchie. So the first thing I do is part my hair. I try to part it wherever I think I'm gon na want it for the end of the look and then I'm just gon na comb. It out. I usually do curly hair styles whenever my hair is kind of dirty, so I didn't wash my hair this day. This is a day after and I'm just gon na comb it out and get it ready to part it into sections. Once I have it all, combed out, I'm gon na part it into smaller sections. So I'm just gon na get my comb and kind of do like a pony tail part it into small sections. So I can have like the bottom layer of my hair exposed, but the rest of it is gon na be up in a ponytail. So, whenever I'm curling my hair, usually the bottom or the first sections, I curl - I kind of grab them into big chunks, because you're not gon na, be able to see that much of that part of the hair. So I grab quite big chunks of it and then I'm gon na curl. It though, to start curling, I clamp some hair into the straightening iron and then I kind of twist it away from my face and then just slide it down, and it creates this curl and whatever I am curling, something that is kind of framing my face. I always curl away from my face next, I'm grabbing this other piece and just curling it on the opposite side, from where I did the previous one, just to give it more. You know like to make it look more messy and natural, and so not all the crows go the same way and I'm just gon na do the same all over the section, always remembering to kind of alternate between one side towards my face and then away from My face just to you know make it look really nice. Sometimes it's kind of hard to curl the back pieces of your head. So I would recommend using two mirrors. You could be facing one and then have one in the back, so you can see what the back of your head looks like next, I'm just gon na part again, I'm just gon na get a little bit more hair and bring it down and bring the rest Back up into a ponytail, if you want to keep the hair that is already curled and the one that is not cooked, separate, you can put it in another ponytail, but I kind of just figured it out to do it with just one ponytail, but if it Makes it easier for you then go ahead and use more ponytails, but here I'm just doing the same. I'M gon na curl, you know clamping the hair and then twisting it out and just lighting it down. Don'T clamp the hair down too tight, because then it's gon na become very difficult to just slide it down, depending on how tight you want your curl to be is how long you are gon na keep. You know the hair clamped in the Flatiron like if you want it, really really tight like really tight, curls you're, just gon na keep it longer than if you want some loose waves. So here to my left, I am looking at my mirror. So that's why I'm looking down but again, I'm just gon na do the same thing repeat the whole process, I'm bringing down a small section from the ponytail and then I'm gon na separate them separate the parts that have already been curled and separate the ones that Need to be curled and then just repeat. The whole process always remember to really pay attention to those strands that are framing your face, because those are gon na be the ones that are gon na be really seen. So I kind of spend a little bit more time on those pieces. So in the beginning you saw that I was grabbing a lot of bigger chunks, but now, as I'm getting closer towards the end, I'm just grabbing smaller sections and really making sure that all the curls are really defined, and you know not really slacking. I feel like in the beginning you can select because a lot of the bottom hair you won't be able to see it, but here, on top you will definitely be able to see. This is the final section, as you can see, I'm getting smaller and smaller chunks. Just making sure that the curls look really defined and really nice. Finally, I kind of separate all of the curls, because sometimes they they clump together or they're too big. So I separate them and kind of play with my hair to add more volume, and sometimes I flip my hair around it just puns. What look you want alright guys? So this is the finished. Look, I usually just finish by kind of like styling it with my fingers. If you have hairspray is when you would add it like now's when you would add it, but I don't really like to use hairspray because it makes my hair look and feel very like crunchy and hard. So I don't like that. But if you have texturing spray - and you want to use that jeanna - add that as well. I pretty much just started with my fingers to add a little bit more volume to kind of loosen up those curls and make it look more kind of like beachy and less like quintanilla tonic. So yeah I tried to like make the curls not as defined and kind of messy and just tell them. However, you want so. I hope you guys liked this video and it was easy to follow. Let me know what you want to see in the next video in the comments below and I hope to see in the next one number in front them.
