In the first video, I taught you the basic steps on flat ironing your hair and in this video I'm going to show you the do's and don'ts and add some creativity by doing flips like these. The steps that are needed before using the flat iron are in our first video how to flat iron your hair first thing: I'm going to show you what the in fresh ein Flatiron is how to bump your hair under it doesn't involve much sectioning. If you want, you can take it into big sections and when I say big I mean like two sections: that's it so you can take a big section like this and actually run it down and just curve as you go, it's more important with with bumping under To really get those angles in the front, this is just kind of get to everything to frame your face and you can run over it a few times, but again it's all in your wrist. So I'm going to do it slowly, so you could see better. You just start about mid shaft on the hair you're gon na come down and bend your wrist just enough to get that to bump under and if you have a bag. Like me, some people like to leave there's real straight. You can bump that under. If you want to just to give a different look, there's a quick, simple way to get a nice posh. Look it's similar to the flat ironing video we've got to take smaller sections and again, not as small and for your curly hair people make sure your hair is pretty much already straight. We'Re gon na need a hairspray just like you like a medium or stronghold. Just something just set the hair: you want to spray it in just a little bit before we start that'll hold that Bend. We have so we're gon na start off by taking a section like this, we would start like I said: mid shaft come down and Bend very gently upward, so you get that nice little flip at the bottom, so you're gon na leave that section out again. You'Re gon na start halfway through the hair and you're gon na bend upward now a lot of times. You might get a piece of hair and you think it's going upward and then, when you go to drop it, it kind of flips sideways or under so make sure when you pull the hair out that the way it's going to land it's slipped up. So we're going to start middle again come out and just end upward and then you're gon na want to look, make sure. Everything'S good spread one more time and then we're going to drop the next section and again medium-sized sections about an inch and a half. Don'T go crazy, I'm gon na spray, the hair again, okay again, this is this - is a great style for people who have layers in their hair, especially shorter layers, because it really really really adds a sharp look. Okay, I've been giving you tips on how to do your hair, but I'm also gon na show you what not to do so a common mistake that people make when they're flipping their hair out is they come down like this and they use their hands and twist The whole entire hair, it looks okay, it's kind of extra flippy, but you'll also get some debts when you do that in the hair, so to get those dents out, you're going to use a little bit of hairspray or maybe even a tiny, tiny bit of water. Maybe like a little bit tiny, tiny bit and just kind of run it over, where you see the dents and you're actually gon na split this into two, you just kind of clip that up you're gon na run it straight down kind of slower than you would Normally do and that'll get that Danielle for you. You'Re gon na drop that next section again you're gon na take it down nice and slow, just bend it slightly at the bottom to get the same products and tools that I use in this video visit. funkyfresh: I thought the video was okay, but if you could show the completed version of your hairstyle with the flip out I think that would've helped. I'm struggling with the flatiron flips, I was wondering if it would be better to use a large brush curling iron? Anyone know?
