What is up my beautiful friends, it is Melissa, and today I am going to show you how I curl my thin lifeless hair with my straight iron. I have really fine hair, it is pretty straight. So it's kind of a challenge and I know there are some other girls out there that have really fun thin hair, that's kind of lifeless also, so I'm going to show you my routine and what helps me so first, I always let my hair dry in its Natural state any time I'm gon na curl it or crimp it or anything, I'm so while it is wet after I get out of the shower. I use a mousse, and this is just the mousse that I use. You can literally use any one that works for your hair. This is the suave curl definition. Soft touch, curls mousse, so mine just looks like this and, like I said you can use any said. I put this in while my hair is still damp and then I let it air dry so that it will be in its most natural state and that's what we have here and I've got half of it or most of it clipped up. So I just start in sections: I just go ahead, I'm gon na be looking above because my mirror is above me. I just take. Probably I'm not good at measurements. You guys, but like maybe inch inch-and-a-half sections and I will just clamp down and I will start to twist as I pull through and I won't pull I'll leave this little bit on the end straight because I don't want it all the way curly at the very Tip and then I'll just take the next section and like I said I don't have that much hair. When you see me in videos - and I mean it, looks like I do, but I really don't - I don't have much hair at all and this part, that's not bleached is super hard to get to hold curl or hold anything. It'S actually a pain in my rear. All right doing this backwards in the mirror is quite a challenge, though ya know just clamp it twist, the more you twist, the more curl you're going to get. So that's up to you. That'S like just your personal preference as to how curly or crimped you want at the bottom. I don't really worry about is because it's not as seen as the top yeah just take this part flip it out of my way. No, I don't brush through this, because you know I want it like, I said, to stay in its most natural state as possible, so I do not brush through it. I just kind of run my fingers through it and now I'm just taking sections in the next layer up. I do have tons of layers in my hair. My camera shot to play me today. So hopefully all of this will get recorded before it starts acting crazy. Again - and I just curl twist whatever you want to call this away from my face and then I'll just make sure I get every little piece, that's straight that I can this particular new me straightening iron is not my very favorite, it's kind of hard to twist, But my good flat iron broke down on me, so I'm working with what I got girlfriend's! Okay now I will just take this very top section and just clip it out of the way. As you can see, this is a very quick way to get some loose Beach, wavy, curls and depending on how curly or how Beach wavy ish you want it now. This top part will curl really well for me because the blond part, since it has bleach it, holds texture way better. So I just go quickly with these pieces because I don't want it super curly on the top. What exactly is that? Okay, they don't just feel around in the back and see if I feel any pieces that I feel like are schreiter than the others and just go in all right now. Just part my hair or let my hair part where it usually does, because no in my hair, if I try to part it another way, it's just gon na be a complete disaster. So we're not gon na try that and this I do more toward the bottom of the hair. I don't do it so close to the scalp, because it's just not the style that I like. I don't like it to be super curly right at my scalp. Once you look get in there once you are to the back pieces, you can take your mirror and look after you're all done, and then you can go back through and pick out the pieces that didn't do so well, because the back never looks completely awesome. When I do it - and I do have to go back okay guys - and you can see that took me - come on that - take me probably six minutes, so not long at all. Now I will go back through on some of these pieces now. Some of these you will have to pick back through I mean I am human and I'm actually not a hairdresser, believe it or not, but uh. Yes, I have to go back through and pick out pieces that did not get curly enough for me or pick three pieces that I want like this one here. This is a little bit too much, so I want to go back through and just clip the very end of it and make the very end of it straight that just gives it a more messy beachy vibe, more than curls, so you'll still have your curl in There, but the little pieces on the end will be more straight once I pick around and mess with and get each little piece how I want it I'm like, but for the sake of this tutorial, I'm not gon na go through and pick out like every single Piece, that's charmed me crazy right now, because that will freaking take me forever. Alright, then I'll just go in with some hairspray and I'll just use the big sexy spray and play hair spray, then I'll just spray it. If you want it to be more voluminous and fluffy or whatever, then you can flip your head upside down and spray, it flip it back up and then kind of pick through each of the pieces, and that will give you even more volume than what I have Right here, but this right here is a okay with me. I feel like this is fun to go out with you guys it's as easy as that to get this Beach wavy, slash curly, if you want to do it, curly hair. I hope you guys enjoyed this. I hope that you learned something, and I love you all so very much. Thank you for being my subscribers and I will see you in my next video
