Styling My Hair!| Using 1" Flat Iron| Roxy Bennett

I'M gon na stay the night. I just want to change. Hey guys, welcome back to my channel it's about Roxy and today in this video, I'm just gon na be showing you guys how I style my hair, so my hair was relaxed. I molded it and everything that was yesterday, so I may or may not have posted a video of my relaxed and mold, but if I did then I'll definitely believe it. I have a makeup done already: I'm just getting ready to do my hashtag, don't rush challenge with my friends and we're gon na post that I probably posted on my Instagram. But anyway, the iron that I'm gon na be using today is a one-inch flat iron and this is from Remington, but I got this one off of Amazon. It'S running ten to one inch, it's a digital flat iron here. I'Ve had it for a couple of years. Now, if you're interested I'll leave a link in the description box below as well I'll link everything that I'm using in this video in the description box below alright. So in my hair as a heat protector, I I've already put in some argan oil treatment. So it's this here, so this is the one and only brand. I got this at a beauty supply store. You can also find this on Amazon, alright, so I definitely need like a trim and a haircut, because if I do this, you see all this. This needs to go, and even over me over right here needs to go, but we're just gon na start it like that alright good, so I'm just gon na sell it as it's growing as it's growing out and may or may not trim it depending on how You know how I feel I might just let it for a while I'm seeing a lot of nice braid styles, but I'll always altom utley have my hair short, I kind of just start anywhere. I think I'm gon na start on the side here, because I want to just really freestyle styling process, so I'd only have anything set in mind, so I'm going to be just curling throughout my hair. If it was any shorter, I would use the half inch, although for the three-eighths flat iron, but I'm just going to use the one inch pipe iron angle throughout my whole entire path and whatever it catches is what get curl. So this is just going to give it some body and shape you, and I know I can't see the direct path, but I'm really just feeling, for you know just really feeling for the hair and just feeling for everything, just feeling and making sure everything is getting Curls, so you see, I've only done a few curls on this side here and you can already see it's taking shape and it's looking a lot better. So I tried my best to get an appointment and that was like the beginning of March. I don't say no, not the beginning of March, maybe the second week of March, but um as soon as I finally got in contact with the status that I wanted to do my hair. That'S what everyone! Well, that's one of the government suggested that we go into lockdown and salt isolation, so unfortunately I could not get my hair cut, so I'm just gon na. Basically, I'm just going to write it out until the self-isolation period is over and everything is back. You know back to normal and we can find a book art book, our you know appointment and I'm going to be filming, I'm going to be filming when I go to that salon visit my ladies with short hair. Let me know how you guys are maintaining your short hair during this self-isolation period. I know a lot of salons are closed. Let me know if you guys are still trying to stay cute in the house. Let me know if it's difficult for me. It was definitely hard. I don't always look like this in the house. I only relaxed been here yesterday so prior to that I was looking to really really rough yeah. I looking crazy else when bond is all they already wrap cups all day or sometimes just my hair is just out. So I was excited. Oh this needs to change. I need to relax my hair. I need to style the I need to look cute. Thank God. My friends suggested that we do the door brush challenge, or else I don't think I think that's what really motivated me to to kind of you know treat myself. We haven't worked from this side all the way to this side. I don't really have like a you know like a little routine of this. I just kind of just roll with the flow, and I just shut up curl as much as possible. Everything is probed now, obviously well. In my opinion, these are too tightly curled and it's looking really, you know grandma, so an auntie, so I'm just gon na take. I usually use a wide tooth comb, but you can use the end of your tail comb and you can just rake it through. So just gon na take my Lexi's call me just rake it through and this kind of softens it up a bit. So it doesn't look so crunchy and tight and loosens up the curls. Does it make it look so purposeful? Okay, so I need to figure out what I want to do with the frame here. You know just using my fingers if I had nails on it'd be a lot easier, they'd be like little rates, but I don't use my fingers and just pull everything through. I don't want such a defined product, so I'm just gon na kinda, combo flage right here, I'm just gon na just play with it and detail it and style it just to my liking, really, okay. So far, looking good! This is a this. Is my style yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah? Okay, so this is pretty much it. So the size is kind of like sticking up a bit. I'M gon na see if I can get a fly to payment, so kinda yeah. It worked good, alright. So the last thing I need to do is just put on some lip gloss. Some of you lovely, ladies, like you email me or you DM me, and ask me to what lip combo do I use so. Basically, I used my Mac lip liner. This isn't chestnut right and I just line my lips right, okay, so after my literal I am I like to use any one of the NYX lingerie lip gloss. So this one is the color honeymoon. This is like one of my favorite ones. Another one I like to use is butter, alright, so any one of these two here, so I'm going to use I'm going to use butter today. Okay, so it looks like this, I kind of just: did you see that looks okay, pretty okay and then just to top it off? I use clear gloss. Okay, so you can use any clear gloss. This clear gloss. I got from my beauty supply stores, they're, like 99 cents, a dollar 99 cents about 99. I meant to say so. I just top it off with this and honestly just adds extra Sheen so yeah. So that is pretty much how I stopped my here, one since I already wrapped and relaxed and everything the only thing I used was this oil treatment from one and only hope you guys can see right and this acts as a heat protector at sheen. As you can see, I don't even need to add any sheets free. I want to show you guys the back. I haven't even looked at about myself, but I'm pretty confident that it looks good. So I'm going to show you guys the back. Hopefully it focuses cuz. I can't see what you guys are seeing: let's stop that. Okay and once I go check out the back using my hand, they're. The only thing I would need to check for is whether there are areas that never got curled or, if there's some areas that need to be kind of honed and blended through right, all right, so that is it for this video.
