Fiery Bright Red Hair| Platinum Card Technique #Redhaircolor

Hey guys, this is Carly and Carly wants to be a fiery redhead. So we've got a lot going on here. We got some highlights. We got some color, oh and also she's a hairdresser, so guess what we always have, the worst hair, because we let everybody like monkey around with it so guys stay tuned to watch me turn this bit of a mess into a fiery fierce redhead, hey guys, I'm Elise rocks and welcome to Heritage life we're all real and diverse her education. I help hairstyles become better hair, stylists, okay, guys here we go here we go so this is gon na, be a very repetitive video. So I'm sorry but of course we're going to start off with a Malibu C color disrupter and a Malibu CPR get any toner off of there Guinea mineral any build up anything on her hair whatsoever. That'S going to block me from getting all of this stuff off her hair, so I'm going in low and slow so I'm going in and I am speeding this up guys because it is a lot of repetition. So basically I'm doing a platinum card. Okay. So I'm using I'll go pro cream lightener mixed with lit the um, just regular nine lift. So I mix those together and I'm going to add olaplex and I'm going to use 20 volume and guys we're going to be doing a lot of fish in here. So you see I'm Feathering that down, I'm moving my brush around Feathering pieces and guys I'll lay another foil on top. This is before I yelled at Allison for like not getting the whole video of me like laying oils on top, but she's better about it. Now. So guys I'm staying away from the root because I am going to go in after I am done foiling each and every single hair in the back. As you can see, I am fishing scooting things out of the way and just kind of like placing the lightener where it needs to be now we're going to go in here and we're gon na just hit that really dark bit on the side, and I am Using my Nomad hair foil board, guys there's a link in my description for pretty much everything that I use I'll go old, Plex Nomad you see, I scoot dead hair out of the way because it is already toasty. Now I will, towards the end, um hit the ends just to kind of open it up for the effervescence. I call it now. You see how I group those hairs together with my fingers. Your fingers are Combs and I am staying away from the root because I will go in. I am working on the back half first and then I'm going to go ahead and I am going to hit the front and then hit the root and then I'll work on the front half, because the back's done. I can stop and rinse as you can see here, I took a little bit big of a section, so I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to butter my board and if you notice, I work that hair side to side back and forth up and down All around - and I do that for a reason, because when you work it side to side you roll the hair, so, as you can see, I did this in real time guys. So you can see how slow I do this. So I'm going to go and I'm going to pull my board out, I'm going to pick those hairs out and I'm going to take that blonde one out. I'M gon na pick up that darker guys like it's like fishing and then I'm going to take another foil. I'M going to slip it under and then I'm going to finish, painting those pieces on with my lightener. We'Ve must have mixed 18 bowls of lightener because guys your lightener is most effective in this first 20 minutes. So we keep lightening as we go as we go as we go so as you can see in the back, I use Reynolds foils and I'm gon na go fishing again here, I'm going to slip out my foil, I'm going to pull out that dark piece again Slip another foil and oh, I got some more see. It'S like fishing fishing fishing, so we're just gon na go ahead and pull those out you do not want to put the lightener on those blonde ends the whole time she will just fry the heck out of them even with olaplex, because olaplex is like Insurance. You know for like, if you have like car insurance you're not going to drive a car into the wall right, so we're just going to go ahead and just butter that underneath and butter it on top we're gon na wrap that end up in there and then Hey guys, oh it's a commercial huh! How about I just teach you how to tone with the ultimate toning guy guys, it's free top toning tips, Hot Tips, formulations download It Now link in the description, okay, guys and back to the show all right, so we're just gon na go ahead and we're gon Na still be foiling the back of the head, yep we're still doing it guys, but, as you can see, we're getting more and more highlights as we get towards the top. So now we're gon na hit the root because she's about a level eight guys we're going for a fiery redhead. We do not need to lift this all the hell, but because you know it does take time, and so things are going to process faster than other bits. That'S why I decided I'm going to break this into two parts and I am moving fast, even though I sped this up. I am moving fast because I need to get these pieces done, so I'm going to apply it to the roots and then I'm going to start working on the front bits. And then, after that I am going to drop the backs and I'm going to start pulling. That color through so as you can see she had a pretty bright money piece in the front. So I really don't need to touch too much of that, like I said, work in that side to side and that's why I use the board, because the board helps me penetrate the lightener into the hair. It helps me push it really hard through the board. Platinum cards are boring and even though I'm not taking her Platinum, this is still the same technique to do a platinum card, very thin sections throughout the whole head working your way up and then hitting the roots and then going and doing the other side. And it's boring, it's very boring and it's very tedious and you just stand there and do this for hours. This whole application probably took me almost two hours to get the foils and by the way guys they charge a hundred and twenty five dollars an hour. Now, as you can see, I am now working the ends through is a messy job, but somebody got ta. Do it and I'm gon na do it so I'm just gon na work all that lightener through the ends. Now this is where we start to use what I call dead lightener. So we like to let Lightner sit out now that the front is done, we're going to go ahead and hit the roots there and, as you can see, I did not do the front pieces where she had that money piece. I just kind of kept that out now I'm going to scoop that up and now I'm going to start bringing that through as well. I just wanted to hit the effervescence to like lighten it all up and now I'm working it through the rest of the hair and, as you can see, I did rinse the back half and it is like to like a level seven or eight, and she is Sitting and chilling with just um lighter on in some spots, because I pulled it off in others, and then I just hit a couple of more spots that I didn't like the way they lighten. So I just hit it just a little bit more. I'M just working those through the front pieces pulling out the foils working it through. If I see any spots that, like per se, I missed because it happens, guys we're only human if we miss things and I always Place foils underneath just to be careful. So now we rinse we stopped oxidation and now I am going to fill her back and even her canvas. Now I'm going to use algal, chlora gloss and 7R and I'll let that process for about 10-15 minutes. So once that's done, I'm going to proceed with the fun color, I'm going to comb it through I'm going to give her olaplex number two guys remember. I sped that up. I'M not beating her ass, okay. So now I'm dancing because it has been six hours and I'm loopy freaking loons. No, I like doing things like this. It'S fine! It'S fun! I like doing one person all day. It'S cool with me um! So now I'm applying direct dye, so direct dye has no effect on the hair. It deposits only there's no oxidation required, and basically it goes directly into the hair. This way I have to pre-lift the hair. Now, as you can see, I have this like big ass brush that I'm using. I really like my big ass brush, but my tint brush is Big too, because it really helps load it on and saturation is key. I see a lot of vivids out there that you can tell the saturation is just not gouda, so we really need to load it up. I always put towels on the floor because I drip color everywhere and guys again sped up not beating her up. So just applying that red everywhere now, once we are done, we will rinse the this with cold water, and then we will not shampoo this. We will condition it with olaplex number, five or four in one, whatever suits your fancy and then we will rinse it right away in style it. So I had already cut her hair and by the way, guys she's, not a redhead anymore. She colored her hair back Brown, I think like um like a month and a half later, because she realized that the upkeep with red sucks. But let me tell you, I know, because I'm a redhead so anyways I love Carly she's, absolutely awesome. She owns a salon in my same area and she's, a very sweet girl, anyways guys. It was a lot, but I went fishing and we came out with this look at this beautiful color guys.
