Gray Hair Update - 3 1/2 Years Later

Hey there, i'm back, i haven't done a video in a while now and i felt now was a good time to kind of just give you guys an update. I started my gray hair journey um embracing the grays allowing the grays to grow out uh. It'S about three and a half years now, so i started in september of 2018. I believe, if not i'll edit, it pretty sure it was september 2018 and um, you know decided. I was done dyeing my hair so wanted to just kind of give an update. Thank you to everybody who has subscribed. Everybody who's been watching my videos. I realize it's been about a year since i've posted a video on my gray hair journey, so just wanted to give you an update, um - and i was not planning this today, but i was like oh today's a good day. I had just actually just got another comment and another subscriber so might as well, and i even started making shirts you know my whole thing is i love helping people, so if i can help somebody else feel confident about themselves. That'S what i love doing. If i can help somebody along their journey and learn from the mistakes that i've made, that's what i love to do so just a quick a little. Let me show you my hair, i guess so, and i i mean i just really said it: did it regularly today but went grocery shopping. It was super windy outside. So i put it up in a clip. So it's not even a really great curl day to be honest with you, but this is all the growth i have. I'Ve obviously definitely cut it a few times i like to keep it somewhat short, i'm kind of growing it out right now. Um i keep cutting it. I go through phases where i like it long. I, like it short right now, i'm like oh, let's grow it out again, so i'm growing it now um and i did add purple i've only been adding purple to the back um. This is all the natural color here, this black, that's in the back, which is kind of weird. This will probably be my only chance to see this because i never really look at the back of my hair, but this is how my hair grows and my dog is crying in the background: she's, a baby who's, a baby who's, a baby she's so silly um, But i did purple about a month ago. I want to say - and i will actually add on to this video because i am going to add some more purple in a couple days - um just because i like it it's fun, but i i definitely do not regret my decision to go gray uh, my mom, Since then has gone gray as well, which is awesome, and i get so many compliments even yesterday i was wearing a shirt that one of the shirts that i made. I even started a whole etsy store with shirts because i, like i just run into like we're all silver sisters. Now you know, there's a whole community on instagram and here on youtube and it's awesome and i couldn't find any shirts that i liked personally like just talking about gray hair, and so i was like i'll design my own, so i was wearing one at target yesterday. Actually and this woman's like oh, i love your shirt. I need one of those because she's also growing out her gray and embracing the gray, and so, of course we got to talk into it, so that's kind of what led to this video um. But yes, i will do add in some more purple. I feel like i get a lot more compliments when i have a little bit of purple, because people are just like and young and old, and men and women they're. Just like oh my gosh. I love your hair, that's so cute and i never got compliments when my hair was brown like what the heck you know. So i've definitely definitely gotten more. Compliments over the last two and a half three and a half years now, whatever i said it was um. Just because i've embraced the gray and it's in style so just wanted to share that with you. Okay, so here is an update uh. I wish it was like fresh purple, but it was a busy week. Last week we had a wedding to go to and then my grandmother passed away and it's just been a lot of craziness. But this is a week ago, a little more than a week ago, that i died did the purple again so kind of just on the ends in the very front, and then i basically just do the back right here. So this is what it looks like after a week. So that's about it! That'S my update. I hope everybody is doing great and thanks for the comments, keep them coming.
