Hi everyone today, i'm going to show you how to go from this to this, using your everyday products like a regular blow dryer and a round brush and a little bit of coconut oil. So you can have fantastic, beautiful, easy to manage hair without damage. I usually wash my hair at night and let it dry. Naturally, last night i did wear a hair mask so there it is, and i just use it as a conditioner afterwards, and i let it sit for about three minutes. Always after washing my hair, i apply coconut oil, which i keep in this little tiny yogurt container, with a fun cap after i wash it towel dry it for a little bit, put some coconut oil in it and then tie the hair back or let it just Loose and dry next morning, my hair will look like this. You can see how curly and just unruly my goal is to put as little heat as possible in my hair, and in order to do that, i do two things protect it and as i'm drying. If i feel like the hair is not straightening quickly, i put a little bit more coconut oil in it. The idea is to spend the least amount of time with heat on the hair, so that i don't damage it. I just spray enough of the product so that the hair is slightly damp just like. If i run my fingers through it, i feel the wetness, but i'm trying to do it all over it's a lot of ugly here i will use high on both the amount of air and the heat. So the first thing i do is i separate my hair and i get two thirds of it. I pull it from the base of the hair down and this brush is a metal brush, so the heat will move super fast through it. The short bristles will hold on to the hair, so it should be straight enough right there did you notice that sometimes i would go this way and sometimes i would go under so now. I just go to the side and maybe one third of the way, and now we have another, maybe fourth of the hair left over coconut oil makes the brush slide through really quickly get the fibers taste really straight as you pull it through. I love this technique. I mean my entire life, i did not use coconut oil and after i started with it, it just makes this go so much faster and i really like the results, so i'm pulling it from the very root and as soon as i do that i start turning. My brush around and i put the heat right on to the hair. It might even touch it and i just pull it out together. Both hands are moving in the same direction and then towards the end. I just stwist it a little bit. I hope that makes sense there. It is, let's do another portion of it now i feel like here might not be straight enough, so i do a little bit more two more bunches, since i like to balance things out now. I just am going to do, and nerd is out of my face, still feels wet from the heat protectant so now, for the very last part, this should go super quick because i do like to wear my hair, mostly the gray, showing i kind of part, like A deep part right here and let me get close so i can see what i'm doing and i'll try to do my hair this way for a little bit just to get the hair laying in the right direction. But before i do that, i'm going to try to get the back if there's any kinks like that, i'm going to remove that by putting my head upside down and drying out the crown. So i feel like i need a little bit more. You can see right here that this area is not really super smooth. I could use the hair dryer and just try to do it over and over again, but i think it will do more damage than if i just use a flat iron. I'M just gon na get a very small three fingers wide, very thin part of hair. I will get my flat iron, that's about an inch to an inch and a half and then i'll just quickly run that through and at the end. I try to turn and turn the um tips under a little see. There'S another bump right here i can see because the color it looks all funky, so i just go from the base and quickly go down there now. The part that annoys me, the most is the hair right next to the ears and oh, this is dangerous, as i cannot see i'll try to get as close as possible. I'Ll do the same on this side to the earpiece. I don't care. If it's not perfect, i really don't if there are dents. I know that some people would just go on forever going like this, and you can do that too. Like just use this as a comb and just kind of towards the end kind of hold it and pull it down with the twist down and then that flips it up a little, do the same in the back. Maybe the areas that i thought. Maybe i cannot see so i'm just gon na go once over as if i were brushing my hair and pulling it under. As you can see, i need a haircut, so you will see a little scraggly. A little bit of coconut oil will fix it and i will put it on just to see if it improves it. Sometimes, if you put too much coconut oil, it just looks heavy and oily, so i'm putting about a pea size, it's melting right away, because my hands are warm and literally i'm just gon na. Do the little ends just to make sure that everything gets coated. If i take care of my hair like this, i can go three days without washing as we age our oil glands will also slow down. So you could go a few more days in between wash and, of course, there's always that batiste spray. That is a lifesaver for the days you feel, like your hair is kind of flat, but you're not quite ready to wash yet i'll. See you tomorrow,

Catherine Hopkins Designs Life: Sorry guys! This came in so late. I had a nightmarish kinda editing day.... after hours of editing, i couldn't download the video. heart stop right there. Then I spent hours trying to figure it out and even got hubby involved... I mean HOURS!!!!. Then I just decided to start over in a jiffy because my son had come home and mommy duty was on, even though my wonderful husband took care of dinner and homework for me. He is my hero!!!! So after exhaustion and frustration, this is the best I could do. I am sorry! :( The next one will be better. Love you all and thank you all for always being here and supporting my little channel and challenge!!!! :*

J WB: I can’t get over how cool your pattern is with the front 1/2 dark and 1/2 silver so dang cool! ☯️

Peaches Skin Care: Needed this! I love my grey hair sparkle but those little grey hairs can have a mind of their own. Great video Catherine Lisa

Infinite Garden by Beth K: You’re so talented! I’ve always struggled to manage both the blow drier and a brush. Your hair is so unbelievably gorgeous, Catherine! Your routine looks pretty quick, too.

JM... B-Greyt: Catherine, your hair looks so beautiful, the color is amazing. Greyt job, lots of work, the hair by the ear is my issue too, it almost turns to little coils. It's the most greyest, so the most stubborn...Fun times!!

L: I love your energy and your hair. The contrast of the dark parts and white looks so unique and beautiful, it suits you so much. With how fast trends move, I wouldn't be surprised if this exact color becomes popular. Do you remember when it seemed everyone was dying their hair silver?

molly j: My hair is so much like yours except maybe a little finer, I deal with lots of frizz. I'm going to try your blow drying technique and coconut oil. I'm letting the undercut grow out and want one length like yours. Bless your heart for the frustration you had trying to get this video! It turned out great and I love your hair.

Jane T: Finally! Someone with my hair texture and color pattern. Thank you!

Marissa Ortega: Thank you so much for your simple instructions, I get so confused of all you have to do with my new grays!

Stephanie F: I think you would love the Hot tools one step hair dryer. I have the same type of hair and it’s been life changing!

Debra Berry: You’re great with that bow dryer, I don’t like all the pulling fit my thin hair. You just have a great head of fabulous hair. Do you use regular coconut oil like in the super market?

Peaches Skin Care: We do our hair exactly the same way!

Adderly Petit: Beautiful

Stacy Lamb: Exactly what I needed. I am tired of my bun and pony tail

Adderly Petit: I will watch all your video love them ,

Sandra Lopez: Here’s a tip, research fast hair growth fortified shampoo.

avion hair: waaawwww a love you hair

Odalis!: Get a maxiglide you will never use a blow dryer or flat iron again. You will do your hair in 5 minutes.
