Well, I will just get my station uh finished with the setup, and then I will take a look at our lovely uh individual's hair here and go from there. How about that yeah? What'S going on a bit of a helicopter parent that one okay yeah? Well, I think that might even be a little bit mean telecopter parents she's more, like a jet pack, ing all up in your business. There uh okay, so I take it, you don't feel like you can tell her no and she wants you guys to have matching haircuts. Okay, that's that's a lot um! Let me put this around you real, fast and well I'll see if I can figure something out. I'M gon na get close real, fast ing right around here, yeah just right around your shoulders there yep, which would be nice and soft red - is that comfy good? Okay, I know I'm just gon na sweep your hair out here, get your hair out from behind there. Okay, Okay, so, based on what I'm looking at with your hair here um I mean first of all, the cute girls and haircut is just an atrocious haircut in general uh and I feel like oh, I feel like it looks terrible on anyone, but especially you come On you've got this head full of Gorgeous Hair. You are really gon na. Let her do that. I'M send sweetie, I'm not gon na stand for. Okay, I got you bear with me I'll I'll figure. A way out of this we're not giving you the cake Gosling. Today, even come in here wanting, you just wanted a regular trim and she was gon na. Oh, my gosh, okay, yeah, well yeah you've got gorgeous long hair. I can definitely give you regular trim. Do you want it blunt? Do you want the ends? Kind of okay? Yeah, just like a little [ __ ] yeah, you do have, you do have some split ends there, but I can totally get those off for us and then just give them like a nice little textured, uh-huh yeah. We just feel I mean your hair feels really healthy. Honestly, I feel like someone should take away my license if I gave you that haircut today, okay, yeah, no okay, so listen um! Okay, so I didn't really get a good look at your mom's hair aside from just being utterly shocked that anyone had asked her that many stacks in the century um. Does she have they care like you or? Is it thinner, thinner? Okay, I can work with that to hear from your dad: okay, yeah, okay, so she's got the thin hair. Naturally straight wavy. Her hair is naturally straight. You'Ve got kind of a from what I can tell you do have a bit of a natural wave here. So we're gon na use that to our advantage. Okay, again, don't worry. I got you okay. I am not gon na. Let anything like that. Atrocity have to this gorgeous hair of yours, hi Mom! Welcome back! I see you found the wine bar uh-huh yep. No, I am just I am just looking at your lovely child's hair here, I'll just give you an idea of the texture, um yeah, just the the form of it theory of how how many split ends we're working with um yeah. So, but why don't you? Why don't you come on over here? Just really so so listen um! I don't think we can do that haircut! No - and it's not just bear with me here so you have this really lovely thin straight hair going on and kid over here has just really really um really heavy. If you weighed down here - and it just wouldn't stack, no, it wouldn't, it would not stack right. Yours, yours is gravity defying right. If you look at theirs, they're, not gon na get that same volume in the back that you can and honestly. I know we just wants best for our kids right. I know I know I know that's why you're here. That'S why you asked for it. You probably thought it'd be like a cute um like Mommy, kiddo, hairdo, matching thing right, yeah of course. Of course it looks amazing on you and you just want them to look amazing too. So, obviously the same haircut is the move. Totally get it, I see we're tracking, I get you um, but listen. If I do that haircut them, um they're, just not gon na pull it off like you can no, like, I hate being the one to say that because they're your precious angel and they can do no wrong and they can do everything perfectly um, but it would Just listen they're at that age, they're, probably bringing like romantic interests home and they would just be so uncomfortable for you, free and them if, when they bring those romantic interests in you guys have the same haircut. You pulled off on me immediately and they came with this yeah and then they're going to get dressed silence for you instead, I know I know super awkward right and we don't want that to happen to your precious angel because we want what's best for them right Totally same wavelength there so listen, I don't want to let them down. I don't wan na. I wan na upset them too much so thinking I'm thinking for today. We just do kind of like a light trim which gets the the dead ends out of there, because you know it's dead last. Obviously it's like you're going for the whole thing, yeah um, so just do like trim whatever we don't upset them too much, and then you know if if they handle that well, maybe you guys come back another time. We can talk about different haircuts. I think pull off really well, but that should last a bit and at least let them go easy. Yeah, you know see see I see I totally totally know I mean I get it. I get it you just you wanted the cool thing you wanted to give them the coolness of your haircut. I completely understand absolutely yeah, okay, so you're good, you're good. If I just give them that trim. Because again I don't I don't. I don't want to upset. I don't upset your kid here, totally totally get it okay, so I'm gon na get started on that. Do you want to tell them or do you want me to tell them it's like? I know it's gon na be kind of rough, and I don't. I don't want you going home with that energy at you, so I think maybe if I tell them they'll just go off better right: okay, cool, I'm! Okay! No! It'S! Okay! You don't have to! Are you gon na tell her it might be better if she has a glass of wine, though I'm sorry what she calls Barefoot Wine, the heavy stuff. I have so many questions, but mainly concerns right. Why don't we just do your hair cut? Let me um. Let me curvy stuff here: okay, so I'm just going to spray this water onto your hair here, get it wetted down the way I can brush through some of your Tangles for us, and then we can get to your trim right um, it is rose scented. Do you have any sort of preference against that or nope you're good awesome right? Oh that's! Good! I'M not trying to soak your hair, I'm just trying to cut tape. It looks good. Let me just get the top didn't get in your eyes. Right! That looks great. Okay, I know: isn't that Rose so refreshing all right, so I'm going to start with my white tooth comb here and just kind of get through some of the bigger ones and then I'll pull in my other brush and work this in the smaller ones. Okay, I'm gon na go around the side here good and you have a lot of hair on this head of yours. I believe she wanted to give you the cake. I mean really. I feel like a cosmetology sin. Quite frankly, how long has she had that haircut ever since it was a thing? Well, yeah, I'm not talking too hard am. I would not want to talk too hard on this beautiful hair of yours. I didn't know if you're tender headed little bit of tangle at the end there just right around the back here picture, I'm just going to kind of hold your head in place, so I can get through some of these bigger ones again. Let me know if I'm pulling too hard or anything I try to be really delicate, but but start to know when it's not. Yours no worries, oh, and let me know if I yank or hit your ears. I think that's probably my biggest pet peeves is when people hit my ears when I get a haircut, but everybody's ears are shaped differently and with how much hair you've got it's kind of hard to know where they're at just. Let me know if I get too close to him, you really don't have that many, I'm kind of shocked one of the entrance Being Fit stopper stop side here. Do you use like an at-home leave-in conditioner use a serum good awesome? No, that's really good! Whatever you use is doing its job well, your hair is nice and soft and shiny, and you know to have wavy thick hair like you do and or to be this smooth. If I comb through it, that is an accomplishment in and of itself, got a big tangle kind of right there to work my way, slowly from the bottom up, just a little bit of a knot, no big deal, I get them too, but as long as you're Gentle with them as long as you're gentle with them, you can get them right out with no problem. Let me go see all gone and that cone's going through no problem again front here, a little bit and the side too. Okay, beautiful okay, I'm going to grab my other brush really fast, just to make sure I get any a little more fine, any more fine Tangles than what toothgo might have missed. Okay, so, like I said this guy will work on her more fine Tangles, but I really don't think we'll have much of a problem here: okay, I'm just gon na gently place my hand on top of your head. That way. As I pull, I can feel how much I might be pulling on you. Okay, all right, I mean seriously your hair is so soft and silky. It'S not even funny from you stuff, like that, okay, awesome and never guess which lights! Okay, your hair is just so stinking loud foreign wanted me to chop it all off. You think it was like a jealousy thing. Maybe that makes sense that sucks though I'm sorry yeah, we all got our stuff. I guess, but that's no excuse for someone to act like that, especially someone who's supposed to care for you all right feeling. Good um get these little evenly brushed out before we start trimming now. I do see some long layers in here that you've got. Do you want me to go ahead and give those a trim maintain those, or do you want to just kind of let those grow out a bit more go ahead and maintain those okay yeah totally? I can totally do that I'll definitely help get some some weight off your head. If that's what you're looking for that makes sense, you have a lot of air, my dear, it is beautiful, don't let anyone tell you otherwise? Okay, let me go ahead and grab my scissors for us, so I've got our scissors here and look like we've talked about I'm just gon na kind of go around. Give you a nice good trim clean up some of those layers there for us um, and then you said that you wanted the ends to be kind of puzzled. Look! Okay! Totally! I can totally do that for us. Apologies, if I make any weird faces or get really quiet when I focus you know it just just kind of happens. Yeah. I think most of us have something weird like that tender Furrow. My brow, everyone thinks I'm angry and I'm just gon na have to get your little clothes for you, that's okay, just let me know if at any point you do get uncomfortable with how close I am. Okay, come right over here. That'S good right! On the other side, this guy this guy and then do you - want some face framing layers, longer ones. Okay, let me just pull this out here. We go. Okay, let me see my brushed off. It'S a little bit easier to do the layers with either color my hand, and you, let's see here, we go I'll freshen - that one up there for us. Okay, then, let's get this guy good and then I'm just gon na grab from this section here and pull it across here for us layering same thing over here. Do you know any part, your hair? This way do you want to continue perfect? I said if you wanted to switch it up, I could totally cut the layers in a different direction for us, but if you like it, then I like it perfect, then I'm just going to go around your head doing that same thing to the other layers. Okay, all right, okay, okay, perfect you're, doing really great. Thank you for holding so still. I know some people get Wiggly after a while, but I do appreciate it all righty. It is freshen up. I really don't have to take that much off here for you to have some nice fresh, healthy hair, just one more sign that you take really good care of it. Okay, then everything only come over here, you see. Has your mom always been like that she is. It'S a miracle that you have been able to keep this hair this longer and I feel, like every mom at least gave their child the obligatory, like straight across banks at one point uh, it was a look. It was a look that we were all rocking, but the momentous because it was they did tape them across their forehead. Yeah. That'S not to say they did it well, okay and we'll just get this foreign all right. I'M gon na give us a quick brush out again just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Okay, okay, I'm gon na place my hand on top of your head foreign, just making sure I got everything here. Can I have you walking out of here with some I'll be on even here, like your mother, wanted huh foreign take a peek in that mirror over there look! Okay, awesome! You will not hurt my feelings. If you think I need to correct something. I'M thinking we do some loose curls how you feeling about that. You like it. Okay, I figure it'll work really well with your natural wavy texture. Here you don't have a lot of life, but just enough that it'll hold really well until and it'll blend really well into your natural texture too. Let me go ahead and grab some heat, protectant spray and we'll get started. So you don't need a whole lot of this. You do have a lot of hair, so wonderful foreign with my fingers, because I want that to not be completely soaking wet whenever, when I throw it contrary to pop your belief, uh, curling or straightening wet heat protectant will still fry your hair, yeah crazy right right. So wonderful: do you like your hair, to be curled in any specific pattern, just away from the face? Okay, again, I'm the same way anytime, someone curls my hair towards my face. I always get a little upset. They didn't ask me first because it just I feel like it's some people. It looks really cute on not this girl. I look like a Little House on the Prairie whenever I try a middle part or curls towards the face, I'm not holding it on there for too long, because again we're going for a loose wave, not Shirley template just using the curling iron to separate it. Perfect lovely all right, I'm just looking at the other side here to see how many curls I want to try to fit in around your head good. There we go just over here now, each time I do a curl, I'm just gently wrapping it around. My finger makes it holds it for us and, at the very end, I'll run my fingers through here to loosen up again foreign I'll go put this over here, so it doesn't hurt anyone. Okay, that looks really good. I'M gon na go ahead and use some of the serum, as I run my fingers through it just to both protect your hair and then help give it some definition here for most people, I would say just one pop or surprise, but for your hair, we're gon Na need two know, it smells amazing. Doesn'T it I figured you would enjoy the nice relaxing lavender scent after the day, you've probably had there. We go foreign, just kind of put your hair back in place and you'll be ready to go okay job there. You are check the mirror, awesome. Okay, I'm glad you like it now.
