Hey guys welcome to my channel so for today's video i'm super excited and so nervous, because, as you're running the title, i'm gon na be bleaching and dyeing my hair at home on my own. So, as you can see, i have a very jet black hair um. I dye my hair um with box eye, which is terrible because for those who don't know, please don't ever dye your hair with box dye, it's really bad. It damages your hair. No, i haven't experienced so much damage. Thank god. I'Ve been taking good care of my hair, i've been using hair masks, i've been using conditioners and like if you want to know all of that. Please let me know in the comments, because i can let you know what i've been using. I don't have any bad damage or breakage, so i'm pretty good. Tell you a little bit of what i've been doing like i bleached my hair for the first time last year and i bleached the bottom part. Remember that kind of trend that was going on. I'M gon na leave a picture right here. I bleached it. I dyed a blonde and then i just didn't like the color. You know i didn't like how it looked so after that, like a month after i decided to bleach all of my hair, i used to have very, very long, hair, all the way to my waist, so i bleached all of my hair. I did not bleach. Stick correctly, i had different tones, so i did buy an arctic fox purple dye, the purple rain, which is pretty cool. I love artifox, it smells bomb and i was smelling like grape for a whole week, but obviously the dye washed off it rinsed off. So i just had like purple hair for a month and after that it looked horrible like i had this part right here it was orange and then this other part was like some other color and then i had like some red red hair, auburn hair. So it was just a mess and i looked horrible and i didn't have enough money to go to a salon. So i was like you know what i'm gon na dye my hair at home and what was the best option for me. Dyeing my hair with black box dye, the black color is pretty cool, it's really nice. I like it. I like how i look with black hair, but i'm just tired of it. I think i need something else, but now i decided to bleach my hair, i'm trying to you know, take this color out. It'S gon na be a pretty long treatment. All right all right. So here is what i bought at sally, so i basically bought you know a bowl because i really need it. I don't have any um and then i thought this is the die that i bought. It'S just like the best option for me um. It has helped me a lot and i don't see any damage in my hair with that brand like if i feel comfortable with some brand, even though it's not like the most typical ones that everyone uses. I rather have like this weird brand or not, that popular brand and then i feel good with my hair condition, so that here is the bleach. I really hope this thing lifts my hair and i also bought these little thingies um. So these are just boosters um. I didn't know nothing about this until the lady from sally told me: oh, what are you gon na do to your hair? Well, i'm gon na bleach it and then i'm gon na dye it. So she told me that i should use this one right here. It'S the booster from iron, all right, so in walmart i bought this conditioner um, it's really cheap and it also smells bomb. So i love coconuts. Now, let's get started guys, so i was leaving out the developer. I totally forgot about it, so this is how my hair looks like it's really dark. Okay, oh my god. Please disregard my hair. It looks horrible, so um. I just found these gloves. So let me use them reminds me like when i was in school, using different socks, yep all right guys so i'ma leave it for 30 minutes and then i'll come back and see how it how it looks. Okay, i can feel it very warm. Now. It'S been almost like 28 minutes, two more minutes and then i'm gon na rinse my hair and see the result for the first bleach, because then i'm away like one hour yeah, i'm gon na wait one more hour to do the second round, i'm gon na rinse. It off and i'll be back all right guys, so i rinsed my hair and i blow dry it just to see like the color. Obviously like it didn't bleach, nothing just a little bit and it looks like kind of like an auburn color okay. So i'm gon na go for the second round um and i'm gon na start from the top to the bottom, all right, so i'm gon na do it in the bathroom now, because it was not a good idea to do it here in the room. To be honest, this one looks way better than the first one, so i think i'm reaching the good texture for this second round of bleach, the first one was kinda dry, so i think it needed more developer. So this is how my hair looks after the second bleach um. I don't know if i should do like a like a final bleach wash um, because i still have like some dark spots, but oh and i, by the way i left this dark because i'm gon na leave my roots dark. I don't want them to be. You know yellow or i don't want to lighten them up, so i just want to do like from here down. So this is how it looks. I still need to blow dry it and obviously, when i blow dry it it's gon na look a little bit more orange, but i don't really care because i i'm still gon na use the light brown, hair dye and i'm running out of developers. So i don't know if i should do a uh like i said a bleach wash or just jump into the hair dye. I don't know because it's really light for now. I'M just gon na blow dry, my hair and then show you how it looks, dried and then i'll. Let you know what i'll do all right. So, okay, all right guys, so i've blow dry, my hair already and look. I don't really like this part right here, but that's just normal. So what i'm gon na do is do another bleach, just uh like the third and final round of bleach um and that's it and then after that i'll um dye, my hair brown right now. It'S 12. 12. um. I began the process like at 8 30 or something and it's been, it's been like almost three hours. Wait: nine, ten eleven yeah kind of four hours doing this. It doesn't seem like i've done much, but i have all right guys. So i'm gon na do that. I'M gon na do the third round in an hour hour-ish, and then i'm gon na show you tomorrow. Okay, so hey what's up guys! Well, today is the next day, so i went to sally and bought new things because i ran out of um developer, like i showed you yesterday, so i went and bought another bottle of developer plus. I also bought this right here. It'S a foaming. Protein rebuilder provides intensive therapy for weak and damaged hair. So i'm going to tell you a little bit of what happened during the night um. So yesterday, last night, um, like i told you i was gon na - do like the third round of bleach, and i did um. Unfortunately, like you can't really tell um. This is how it looks. It has like this really orange tone and then it has like this yellow right here. I don't really mind about the roots because, like i know that my roots grow really fast, so like i'm, not even gon na bother to bleach them, but yeah um. So i went to sleep, i only rinsed, my hair. I didn't use any kind of shampoo to to wash off the bleach. I just rinsed it off. I don't know that was the problem that i did, but i used a towel and i just like put my hair up on the towel and that's how i went to sleep. So when i woke up. I don't even know why i woke up like i woke up really really early in the morning, and i noticed that my hair was very, very wet and when i went to the bathroom i saw these parts right here so right here i have some breakage. Let'S see, it's really really dried, so i was kind of freaking out because my hair was kind of falling out. So now that being said, let's go ahead and jump into the die. So i had watched a video saying that i should use conditioner to like to mix it up with the dye with the hair dye and also the lady from sally beauty. She told me to buy a conditioner to mix it up with the hair dye, but i don't know if i should do it because, like people say that conditioner works just to like just to like prevent more damage to your hair due to the hair dye or Any chemicals that you're using but others say that conditioner, like it only works for fantasy colors, like when you have when you want to make it a little bit more softer like let's say if you want to use a purple fantasy color. If you add some conditioner to it, it'll make like some kind of a lavender color lavender tone. So i don't know if i should do it or not. Now, let's go ahead and begin with the hair dye all right, just because i don't want to make this video more longer than it is i'm just gon na do a time lapse for you and and then just show you like the final results. So all right guys, so i'm gon na leave it in for an hour and then i'll rinse it off and then i'll show you the final result. Okay, so see ya all right, guys. So, okay, so this is the final result. Um, i think it like you. Can barely tell the difference between jet black and the tone that i have right now, but trust me like in the sun. It looks way way lighter than this, but yeah unfortunately, like i didn't reach the level that i wanted. It was so hard for me um. So you already know that if you have jet black hair and you dyed it several times with box dye, you'll need to know that it will be so so difficult to try to wash it off and try to you know get rid of it, because i had To bleach my hair three times and it looked horrible, i almost lost my hair, like i'm pretty sure that it'll wash off a little bit of the dark tone so maybe later on, it will eventually get a little bit more lighter. This was not a tutorial that was. This was just me, sharing my experience and sharing it with you guys trying to go from jet black to a lighter color. So this was the final result and yeah alright guys. So if you liked it, please go ahead and like it subscribe and don't forget to click on the notification bell and i'll see you in the next one, maybe with another. I don't know with another tutorial with another fail. I don't know i'll see on the next one bye,

Aruba Roy: Tip: After bleaching the hair you need to use a neutralizing shampoo to stop the bleaching process. I'm surprised that the lady at Sally's didn't tell you that. SMH I'm not beautician it's just something I've learned.

Kristie Oneill: I don’t think you could ever look horrible honey your naturally beautiful

Robianny Rey: Hey I recently bleached my hair & from watching YouTube videos I learned that you apply bleach to less strands. It will help saturate the bleach more. I also kept watching the bleach work because i too was so scared since I’ve worked so hard on getting my hair healthy. & the damage wasn’t much. So when you are applying the bleach try to get it on the sections fast so they lighten around the same time. Watch the bleach, open the foils, rub the strand, make sure your hair still strong. (& not elastic) & if the bleach is drying out just rub off the old bleach and apply again new bleach and WATCH IT. It’s honestly a scary process to do alone lol. Your hair came out nice

Denise S: Hi, I've been dying my hair with box dyes for over 30 years and my hair is in perfect condition. I dyed it again yesterday and once again it came out perfectly. I must say, if anyone dyes their hair once they see the colour changing especially at the roots then obviously it's going to cause dryness and damage the hair. I've always dyed it every 4/5months after eventhough my 'greys' are coming through due to regrowth and will wear a headwrap until I'm ready to do it again. Dying hair frequently can also cause thinning of the hair. But at the end of the day, it's everyone's choice what they use to colour their hair. For me box dyes haven't caused me any reason not to use them. But thanks for sharing. Also, I did dye my hair black for 20 years not realise it's the hardest colour to remove. I had to use Colour Remover to lift it and had to do it 2x spacing each application out and doing the 2nd one 6 days later and to my surprise it lifted which made it easier for me to dye it the colour I wanted! I think bleaching ruins the hair.

Ed: If you do it again you need much more bleach on your hair, you need to really saturate the hair, you also need to take it to a level 8 or 9 which is a mid yellow tone all over, you left too much of your red undertone in your hair, that's why it didn't go as light as you wanted it to. If you do it again..... (1) really saturate the hair with bleach. (2) Lift your hair to a yellow tone like your roots were but all over. Start with your mids and ends and do your roots last as the heat from your head makes the bleach lighten faster, that's why you end up with lighter roots than mids and ends - But always do your roots last when bleaching. Once you've reached an even yellow tone all over then dye it with the lighter colour and you'll end up a lighter shade of brown.. Mixing hair dye with conditioner just weakens the colour of the dye, it dilutes it, it won't protect your hair from the bleach, only Olaplex can do that, by protecting and rebuilding the hair bonds that are broken during the bleaching process. After bleaching use a good hair mask. Hope that helped. It still turned out a good colour for you though!.

Gothy 87: Brown looks really good on you. We are now brunette sisters, Aby. Have a nice day ‍♀️

its the hair 4 me: The reason why you're blonde didn't come out is because you section your hair too thick and you didn't update enough bleach product you have to ribby saturate your hair like really soak your hair in with the bleach for about 30 minutes you didn't have enough bleach on your hair and your sections were too thick

okbye: ur hair didnt bleach well bc u had black hair dye. u just had to buy a color remover like color oops. i also heard crushing vitamin c tablets removes hair dye. either way it came out good :)

Kristie Oneill: That booster dilutes the bleach need 30 vol they say it doesn’t but it does if you have color on your hair it’s so hard to get out dark color

MANI: are you naturally black or is your hair box dyed black? that would explain why the bleach only lightened some parts of your hair initially.

Maria Miranda: Hiii ☺️ I’m in love with that lipstick ur wearing at the end of the video what is it ?

Robert Zander: I hope you are okay? It was definitely very interesting to watch it, even if i have no idea about the things you have done. The most important thing is that you are happy with the result, but by a little bit careful with the things you like to use, especially with all the unknown chemicals in these products. It's not always so sure where these products are really made and what they used to create it. You are a lovely sweet beauty and even more because of your wonderful nature.

Oum Adam: You should have used 30 vol instead, cause you had black hair dye on.

Blender Moo: Hello Aby. In your video about Switzerland I thought to myself, "She did something with her hair". I like your guests about this video. I think it's funny when your sister and mother sabotage you. That kind of loosens up your video and you feel the family.

Ashley Ashley: Why would you not shampoo the the bleach off?!! You’re lucky your hair did not melt off!! A soap cap would of been safer. Bleach, clarifying shampoo and 20 volume.

Vicky Navarro: I use 20 developer when toning. 30 when using bleach.

Jackie Putnoky: Hi, which brand is the hair dye?

Ashley Ashley: I did a bleach bath which seems safer.

Mobil goat Ramirez: Ur hairs rlly pretty (I’m a boy)

Vicky Navarro: 20 developer was the problem… Should have used a 30.

Amanda Inman: What’s the hair dye called

Katherine 906: You are so pretty

Anjala Ahmad: Box dye is a $$$ industry...

Rebecca Rodriguez: What color did you use?

Kate Katy:

hannah reyes: You're look like Coleen Garcia. Hehe

HaniFa Tun: Nothing changed, just wasted ma time looking forward to see the brown color Lol
