Hello, guys is sincere and in this video we're going to be talking about black women and our need for weave. I wanted to talk about this because I wanted to address some of the issues that we have with our hair and why some of us feel that we cannot walk outside without it. I'M gon na be sharing some things that I went through with my natural hair and some of the things that helped me overcome my insecurities when it came to my natural hair and hopefully this video can be used to help and inspire you to appreciate what you Have and nurture and care for your hair. I will start by saying this black women. Why you are born with is the most valuable thing that you are ever gon na have and the most valuable thing that you're ever going to be able to use to attract goodness. To you your mind, your body, your eyes, your soul, your skin, your hair. All of it is valuable and the reason I'm saying this, it's because if you don't appreciate what you have when you come out the room, there is nothing on this planet that will ever ever make you happy you're, always gon na be angry. You'Re, always gon na. Be sad, nothing, it's never going to be enough and the things around you and the people around you are going to feel that and if those people value themselves, they're not gon na want anything to do with you and that's a problem so growing up. I war. We majority other time I never wore my real hair. If I didn't have believe I had a perm in and about four years ago, heiresses event that I wanted to go to, but I didn't have my weave, so I ended up not going and as crazy as that sounds that's how it was so after the fact I got myself and I looked in the mirror and I asked myself I said what is wrong with you, like, I literally said it just like that. Why can't you walk out of the house with your hair and I realized - and I gave myself an honest answer, and I realized that I didn't think that I was pretty enough. I felt like I was ugly without it and when it came to going outside and stuff like that, without my leave, I was afraid I had him a lot. I had a lot of anxiety and a lot of just issues built up and it was so intimidating, but I gave myself a challenge and I was like I said you have to get confident. You have to start loving yourself and whatever I need to do so. You get the information, that's what I'm going to do so I started looking up how to take care of black hair and I loved that I wasn't too big on hair typing, because I didn't even know what my hair was. But I started looking up in researching and I found some stuff and started applying it. Then there was this one day where I wanted to go somewhere and I looked in the mirror and I had a lot of damaged hair on my head. So I cut all of my hair off. My hair was short, but I still had it was still long enough to twist. So I twisted my hair up and I put on a baking outfit and some lip gloss and some earrings and I was like okay. This is it. This is the day that I'm going to face my fear. I had a positive attitude. I was telling myself that I was looking good and nobody told me nothing and I went out to the place that I wanted to go and two people came up to me and they were like. You look really nice today and I was like what well in my mind I was like what, but at that moment I realized most of my insecurities and most of the things that I was self-conscious about was all in my head and from that moment I never Looked back from that moment forward, I kept deep conditioning I kept my eyes, my hair, I kept taking care of my hair. My confidence just got stronger and stronger, and I became so confident over time and I felt free from like a leash that I was holding myself. I said all of that to say that black woman, a lot of the insecurities and issues that we have when it comes to how we think other people feel about us is all that I had, and I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and Play with your hair and feel your hair talk to your hair, see what your hair likes explore with your hair. There are plenty of women on YouTube that I have learned from. That has helped me do I agree with all their talking points and no, but when it comes to cysts it is popping, and it is what it is. So I'm actually going to link some of the women that I have learned from in the description box. For you guys that have a kinkier here for women that may be on the kinkier side, I will link women that you can learn from watch what they put in there watch their routines watch, how they detangle the hair watch, how they moisturize their hair watch. Watch. How they have taken care of their hair from what it was short until now, there's plenty of resources out there, and I really don't want to hear that you don't have time. We all have 24 hours in a day. Everyone has the same amount of time in the day it matters. What matters is what you do with the time that you have a lot of the time, all that time, that you're spending on watching Love & Hip Hop all that time that she's spending on arguing with other people all the night time that you're spending on Facebook Scrolling through stuff not doing anything productive, all that time, they're just spending eating stuff that should be eating - need to be using that time to research. So much here, videos to help you with your hair, there's no more excuses. It'S time to get out of our comfort zones and apply this and you young women, start taking care of your hair.
