Hey everyone: this is Jenny, Streamy, with confessions of a hair stylist, and I'm going to show you guys how to get the rolled headband updo, let's go out and get started. Okay to start this look off. You just want to start with an elastic headband or one that looks like a scarf, I'm going to be using the scarf one, because I think it's perfect for spring and summer time. So all you're going to do is put it around your head and then twist the hair up into it. But before I do that, my hair is very clean, so I want to grunge it up a little bit, and this is perfect for you, women that have really silky hair that doesn't like to hold very well or hold up in updos, because what it's going to Do it's going to course in the texture up allowing it to stay in place, so I'm just going to use a mica dry shampoo. This is great, it's talc free, so I'm just going to apply it all over. It'S going to really help. Give me a lot of body as well, so now I'm going to apply our headband. So basically you want to start on one side of the head and you're, basically just going to twist the hair slightly and then go up and under the headbands just like that. Continue the same technique all the way throughout the hair until you get to the back of the head, so I'm taking a section of hair slightly twisting it just because it helps hold when you twist it and then tuck it up over and under then when I Get to the middle of the head, I'm just going to go ahead and disregard that and continue the same technique on this side. Now that I've reached the back of my head, all I'm going to do is take this last bit of hair and roll it and twist it into my updo, and then I'm just going to detail it out by spreading the hair alright. So there you guys have it it's so easy to do and just to detail it out. I'M just going to pull some of the hair out a little bit and then use a lightweight hairspray, and that is basically it so for more hair tutorials.
