Easy 1950S/1960S Updo For Long Hair

As requested, here is a late 1950s/ early 1960s updo for long hair. This style can be done with any hair length that is long enough to roll, but if you hair is longer/thicker the rolls will be more stable. Using a spice jar to create large rolls, gives this hairstyle the big, bouffant-style look but with much less work than other methods (such as backcombing or adding false hair).

spirals 73: I can also envision this as a half-up 'do. I'd use my large rollers to bend the ends of the hair into a flip.
