How To Go From Dry To Moisturized Twists. This Is How I Moisturize And Style My Twists

So here is how I go from dry hair to moisturized hair. The first thing I do is I unravel my hair and then I go ahead and I use my rehydrating leave-in conditioner. So it is a rehydrating leave-in conditioner, so it reintroduces hydration back into my hair strands. So I am going to Spritz that into my hair and I'm going to really work that in with my fingers, this is also a time where I go ahead and I detangle, but I only detangle with my fingers. I do not apply a comb to my hair at this time, so I'm going to do a pretty good detangling session and I'm going to try to take my time to make sure that I am going from my roots to my tips and I am going to Also be pulling out all of the shredded hair out of my hair, so I want to make sure that my hair is nice and well detangled without using any type of tools. Now, typically, I do use a I do do twists in my hair and so before. You do twists make sure that your hair is well hydrated and well moisturized. This is going to ensure that your twists come out really really well, and so next, I am actually going to go ahead and apply my scalp soothing strand, sealant, hair growth, oil and I'm going to use that to seal in the moisture that I have just introduced Into my hair - and I can't tell you how soft this oil makes, my hair feel the leave-in conditioner softens my hair as well, and so I am going to smoothen this oil into my hair strands and my hair feels great. It feels really really soft and it also makes it really really shiny, and so at this point after I have smoothened in really really well, then I'm gon na go ahead and actually twist now, when I am twisting, I'm going to first separate that section into two Sections I'm going to try as much as possible to get them to be even and then I'm going to be twisting from The Roots all the way down. Now I am going to be holding taut the sections okay and I am going to be twisting Twisted hair. While I twist and I'm going to make my way all the way down and once I am at the end of The Twist, I am actually going to go ahead and twirl the end of my twist to make sure that my twist is well secured. And really it's really quite simple. The most important thing is to make sure that your hair is well moisturized and moisturized hair is going to be soft. It is going to be smooth and is ultimately going to be shiny. So now that I've finished twisting up all of my hair, it is time for me to style it now. Nine times out of ten, I will use my banana clip to pull my hair back and then just sort of braid the ends and then I'll leave like two twists in the front. So I'm going to be doing just that in this video. Now I have my baby be at my back, because that is just how I can get her to sleep and then I can also take care of my hair. So at this point I am actually twisting or braiding my twist, and this is my form of protective styling. So after I have braided it, then I'm going to thread the end of this braid into that bigger braid itself and that helps to protect my ends from rubbing against clothing, causing friction then dryness and ultimately can lead to breakage. And so now I've got my Twisted. Braid or braided twist inside of my hair now I just leave just two of them in the front and really that's it. It'S really quite simple as a busy Mom. This is one of the styles that I do very very often, and I can wear this for an entire week and then I just moisturize my hair and I'm good.
