Hello, everyone, my name, is charity and welcome to my youtube channel. If you are new here, i want to say hello. You are very welcome here. I do have my little baby here next to me. So if you hear noises in the background, it is her all right, you all, so i'm going to be showing you how i actually achieved this hairstyle. I posted a picture some time ago as a thumbnail and someone saw it and they really wanted to see how i did it and so in this video, i'm going to be showing you how i did it, but before i do it, i just have a few Points that i would like to share with you as well, when it comes to styling your naturally curly hair. I hope that you find this video helpful alright. So when it comes to styling natural hair, i encourage women to get to know their hair and really develop the habit of being in charge of taking care of their own hair. Now, when it also comes to styling your natural hair, i think that it is an area of creativity. You know you would be amazed by how creative you can actually be. When you put that aspect of your hair care into your own hands, i've been doing my own hair for years and years and years and honestly it is so fun. Not only is it fun, it's actually also a way that i get to save money. So i really encourage you as a woman who has naturally curly hair. I encourage you to develop the habit of taking care of your hair yourself, one of the styles that very easy to learn how to do is twist. I style my hair and twist about 99.9 of the time it is so easy to do, and practice really does make perfect. I do have a video where i talk all about twists. I will leave that video in the description box. For you all right, you all so here my hair is freshly washed and the white stuff is just my shea butter mix uh. It wasn't melted all the way, but it'll be fine. So at this point i'm gon na go ahead and style. My hair and all i'm gon na do is just bend my head over like so, and i'm just going to try to see if i can gather my hair into basically just gather it together, so that i can actually create a braid. Usually, if i have smaller sections, it's a little bit easier because i have more surface area, but here i don't really have many twists to work with, but i think that's what i like about this style is how large and jumbo the twists are, which really helps To give the overall uh style a really unique look, it looks more intricate than it actually is as far as how i actually achieved the hairstyle, and so basically i just try to see if i can do a braid, an inverted braid, and then i just grab The hair as i go so at this point i just try to braid the rest of the hair and toward the very end, all i'm just going to do is just tuck the ends of this braid underneath itself or underneath the larger braid and honestly. That is it. That is all that is all it's a really quick style, very, very simple, but very elegant as well and oftentimes when i style my hair like this, i do get a lot of compliments. People often comment about how nice of a style it is, and so this is a style that you can try out. As you can see, it is very, very simple: in the thumbnail you saw that there was a flower. I just put the flower there because in the thumbnail the white whitish part right there was showing, and so that's why i just put the flower there but yeah. This is it. I am all done here and i'm ready to leave the house or just to stay home, but the good thing is that my hair is done and it looks good and it's just really really exciting. Another point that i wanted to make is that this is considered a protective hairstyle, meaning that the ends of my hair are clearly hidden. You cannot see it, and i attribute the length of my hair to these kinds of styles, where my ends are not exposed because the more you expose your ends, your ends will dry and dry hair breaks or your ends will just rub against your clothes and that Friction actually causes breakage of your hair and if you have breakage that is going to hinder your length retention all right. Ladies, i just want to encourage you to take charge of your hair um, be your own hair, stylist and try it out. It doesn't have to be perfect the first time it doesn't have to be perfect the second time it doesn't even have to be perfect the third time. But what what you need to perfect is your own ability to at least give it a try, and you will be amazed by the different kind of hairstyles that you're able to um gather. And so i hope that you found this video really helpful for the person who asked for this tutorial. I hope that you were able to replicate this style for yourself all right. You all thank you so much for watching, and i will talk to you in my next video bye-bye for now.
