Hey guys, it's me Ida, welcome back to my channel. So today, I'm gon na do a flexi rod tutorial, but this time I'm gon na use a butter and a homing mousse and I'm gon na see. If my results are better than last time, when I so I'm gon na use, the Camille Rose jaw almond twisting butter, which is one of my favorite butters. It gives me really good, hold and moisture and does not cause any flakes to my low porosity hair and I'm gon na use my favorite foaming mousse, which is the cream of nature filming mousse, so I'm gon na use these together. So this is my first time using this combination. Okay, so I'm turning off on freshly washed hair. I just rinsed out my deep conditioner and I didn't really drive my hair with a towel or a snide axe. I wanted to keep the moisture in my hair yeah. So I'm not gon na actually use a leave-in conditioner. This is my first time not using a leave-in conditioner, because I'm hoping that I don't really need to use one alright. So this is how much butter I'm going to put in each section I'm going to smooth that in okay, now I'm gon na go in with the denim brush. This is probably the only brush I'll ever use for my hair, because I noticed that it detangles my hair very, very well as you can see, but I always figured a tangle first just to make sure this brush is able to guide glide smoothly in my hair And now I'm gon na go in with the foaming mousse, I'm gon na definitely kind of act like a really soft gel. Now that I have all the product in my hair, I'm gon na go ahead and take my flexi rods. I just kind of put it against my skull and then I just kind of pull it on it, pretty tight, just to kind of smooth it out and then once it's secure and then bend this one upwards. I'M gon na actually finish these flex rods, off-camera and I'm gon na show you the results tomorrow when I take them all out, hey guys, so I am back two days later and I told myself that I didn't want to ever put these in my hair for Two days, but when I sat and meet the hairdryer I didn't want to sit underneath the hairdryer for longer than an hour cuz. My hair dries out very easily, so I thought sitting underneath the hairdryer for an hour. We definitely minimize the drying time, but when I checked my hair with still a little damp and with these type of styles, even if your hair is slightly damp, it just kind of ruins. The whole thing - and I didn't want to take the chance. So I slept in them for another day and so I've had these look for two days, because my hair is so thick and low porosity. I really don't ever see my hair drying in less than two days and with twists up, I don't mind cuz, then you can just like rock a twist out and like a ponytail or whatever and then go out in public and have like a normal sleep. But with these it's very very limited and although I love the results of flexi rods, I don't really think I'm gon na be doing this hairstyle too often, just because I don't like wearing these in my hair for that long, but yeah. I'M just really curious to see how this is gon na turn out, so my hair does feel like it has a lot of whole to it, which is great so the best way for me to separate these curls is, I always like pull down the section and It kind of already naturally separates. I really just wanted to try out different combinations, because I want my hair to feel as moisturized as possible with the definition and yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching. Let me know what you guys think about the results and don't see you guys next time, bye,

Francisca De Souza Darmanie: Your eyes are gorgeous Iyda and i always love your updo's cause they always turn out perfect. Thanks again for another awesome tutorial

Ms. Danika: OMG!! The 2 day dry struggle is real! I literally have to plan when to do my hair because of it. I'll be purchasing a hooded dryer very soon as I've learned it's a low porosity must have.

Nikki J _23: I had flexi rods done by my beautician and it turned out really cute, I haven't tried on my own, but would like to give it a try, and will have to play around with products, thanks for the suggestions of products to use, your hair turns out beautiful no matter what you use!

GivingGodglorywith Gifty: You do such a great job on your hair tutorials! You are beautiful! You look like a model!

Williams J: Hello your flexi-rod set came out on point. I have been wearing flexi-rod sets lately, love them. I had to take a break from them. I noticed when I'm wearing my hair out more. I have to moisturize more because my hair becomes dry. I hate that. But other than that there awesome. Love your videos. ❤

Shirley Duval: Gorgeous!!! Great look for wedding or any major event❤❤❤❤

Te'Koah Coriel: Hey girl....this style is gorgeous on you....can we get an everyday makeup tutorial tho??

Katherine Miller: Lovely as usual! I usually just use mousse for rod and roller sets, but I think I might try adding a butter. How long did your curls last? Have you tried Camille Rose Aloe Whipped Butter Gel? I used it for a wash and go and it was very moisturizing.

Ms. Perfectly Imperfect: Super cute!

Sycanie Tanisha: Hello Iyda! What you do to make your curls last ore than 2 or 3 days? Your curls came out nice!

colorfrogi: I'm doing this for homecoming❤

Dyana's BD Original Channel: So indirect heat Hairstyles including rods, curling rollers, braid outs, and twist outs. The first step is to wash with Moisturizing shampoo, deep conditioner with deep moisturizing conditioner with a shower cap or hot head for 30 minutes, rinse conditioner out with cold water, apply protein free holding or styling product/gel, do the hairstyle of choice, and sit under hooded dryer for 45 minutes through 1 hour and 30 minutes or until it is dry under a hooded dryer? Is this the Method for low porosity hair? Correct me if I am wrong on anything. I am taking notes.

Nastassia Gomes: How long did this last?

Mony Rice:

Lisa13245: loove

Ari Gold: Your armpits are so smooth!

qdunnaville: Nice video. Way to show us different ways to use what God gave us! I found this product I recently I think you should do a wash and go with. It's called Joie my gel. I'll put a link to it. Honestly I feel like it gives me hold and definition but has humectants that keep my hair most. I'll put a link below. If you add it to your Amazon wishlist, I'll send it to you. Also, I'm not affiliated with the company I just want to see what someone else's results will be.
