Hi Sharon Danley here with another Two Minute Tip. This week, its about how to get you know, second, third day, hair up in a fast, easy bun that looks good and can take you just about anywhere. Ok, so you've got second third or maybe even fourth day hair and it's not quite performing the way. You'D like. Here's a fast, simple, fast and easy updo so that when it's really hot and humid, you can just throw it up and not have to worry about the curls they'll just take care of themselves. All you'll need. Is you know that handy-dandy, worn and scrunchie? I still love it and, of course, some of these roller pins that you can get at Sallys. Ok, so what I'm going to do is not even bother brushing my hair, I'm just going to bring it back and bring it up into kind of a very loose relaxed, ponytail right at about the crown with a covered elastic going around twice., Then I go around And I pull out hair so that doesn't look like it's done too tightly. And, of course, for everybody's head shape. That'S going to be just a little bit different.! Then I'm going to take this scrunchie and put it over top ... ... ... ... ... like so. That'S going to give me and those who have fines, thin hair, the bulk that's needed in order to create a fast updo.. So there's several ways you can do this ..., but what I'm going to do is just put the hair all over top of this scrunchie ... ... .. and ... ... .secure it., with a couple of those roller pins, ... ..., one in the front and ... .. one in the back., So let me take a look all around and see how that is., To give this more of the current Now, to give this more of the current messy bun, look, I'm going to take another elastic and I'm just going to go over Top of this, so that it's going to pull it in and give it more of that current messy to look to the bun. Now here is where you can either if you're, using Curl Keeper Deva Curl or something like this, you can just spritz your hair and Kind of redo the curls a little bit you can bring some down if you like or not., The same thing goes for the back, just spritz and scrunch it up, and then, if you like, you can either bring some down or not.. Now, if you want to give it just a little bit more, lift use your barber, comb or rat tail comb just to pull it out in strategic areas where you want it. Looking a little, fuller and then finally..oops here I am ... .finally. What you can do, if you decide that you want to say, have a couple of curls hanging down, but it's like a little bit straight like this is just spritz it a little. Do a stand-up pin curl and you can do it at the size or whatever give it a little. Spritz do your makeup and by the time your makeup is done, then you can take your curl out and you'll have curls everywhere. Nowhere or just exactly what you want, that's it only about four minutes. I put pin curls in here here here and at the nape of the neck. You can do it or not do it. You can make your hair tighter with no tendrils whatsoever, or you can make it with tendrils and more than what I have here. You can make it bigger. You can make it smaller. You can do whatever you want. And here's how it looks around the back.. Its very simple, very easy, and it's another use for that: worn-out, scrunchie that you may have sitting around. And it's fantastic for those hot days and things that your hair isn't just the best that it could be. But you really don't feel like shampooing or doing whatever that day. Anyway Fast, Very Easy, and Oh So Chic. We'll see you next time.

T Montero: Practical, instructive, well-presented, no nonsense, and straight to the point = a perfect YouTube video. Thank you!

Dare You To: Absolutely brilliant! I have so many hair scrunchies I've never worn as they never seemed to blend in convincingly with my own naturally straight hair. Now I have a lovely thick and full hair bun up do. It's so quick and easy too. I haven't quite mastered the second version of how to turn it into a messy bun yet but I am sure I will in time.

Teresa Mikelson: I always wondered how to give the pulled back hair that relaxed look. Now I know! I'm going to have to try this! I love her hair!

Mel T.: Your hair looks lovely. Thank you for this very helpful video! ❤️

Anna M: I’ve had that hair scrunchi in my drawer for literally like 10 years and never wore it bc I look like I’m going to a sweet 16 lol now I can wear it n look normal ! Thank you!!!!

merlyn: Perfect instructions I can now use my hair scrunchie confidently

jmmacb03: I am not grey yet but bought myself a scrunchie and love how you covered your scrunchie with your hair. You are an absolute lifesaver for those of us with fine hair. My hair is very curly from about my ears down (straight on top) and I put my hair in pin curls (easy to sleep on) and the next day I have the volume and lovely waves with zero heat damage. Sometimes, to freshen my waves I spritz them and then use the blow dryer on low and keep the bobby pins in as long as I can. I love your easy videos—not a whack of products (and toxic fumes) and zero annoying music! ♥

Leda Cunningham: Very helpful. My hair is just long enough for the nap of my neck. Love my hair scrunch it is the perfect match to my hair. I do plan to keep growing the length. Your hair instructions make me very eager for my long hair to return. I have been growing the gray since August and love the look but miss my length it is a journey.

Lu G: This is SO helpful! As soon as my hair grows just a tad more, I'm going to look into getting one of the silver scrunchies! Thanks, as always for helping us to be the best we can be!

Sharon Barnes: You make me feel good about total gray hair at 55! Thankyou!

WithMetta: I was watching and thinking: I can't do that because my hair is impossible to colour match. Then you put your hair over the scrunchie! Brilliant! Big thanks!

Claire Bush: I'm 48 and have recently lost about a ⅓ - ½ of my hair due to menopause. I bought one of these today and have been trying to work out how to use it to "discreetly" boost my volume, with my hair still looking natural. Thank you for this, just what I was looking for

K Smith: Hi! Love the use of the scrunchie as a volume tool!!

Knights Rule: I have recently found your videos. This one encouraged me to try and find a ponytail wig let to match my salt and pepper hair - which I did! Yours looks so great and now mine does too. Thanks for all you post!

Bernice Dooley: Hello from Nova Scotia! Sharon, thank you for this! My hair is shoulder length and very fine. Your videos are great.

Georgia Peach: I have to say, you look amazing! Especially in your 70's! You definitely dont look like you're in your 70's. My grandmother was practically bedridden in her 70's and wasnt even in that bad of health. I want to age like you oh my gosh

God’s Tender Mercies: This was wonderful. Thank you ♥️

Marcie C: TY. I always like to see a use for something I already own. Very cute and modern look on you, Sharon.

Victoria Lehmann: After watching several of your videos, the thought that came to mind was that you must NOT live in an area with a lot of wind (big grin). I could never get away with just using a few little spritzes on my finished hair style. I love your videos and want to try some of your suggestions. Problem is that I have a shorter hair style with permed hair growing out. Thanks for your ideas.

Ranalynn’s Lifestyle in Hawaii: You did an excellent job on this video. Hugs and Have a great and productive weekend

Melissa Pisarski: Thanks for the awesome video! I stumbled across it while trying to figure out what to do with my hair for a friend's wedding. I'm 24, but I have to say that we look like we could be related lol Similar features and eyes, plus the same taste in lipstick shades!! hahaha I hope I can look as good as you do when I'm older. Thanks again!

My hair color has gone through many changes since then. I am not completely grey...I wish I can find more now that match my hair but I can't. Elyse Joseph: Lovely hairdo Sharon, thanks xx

Helen Boula: I love your video I'm a x cosmetologist I am 73 and I experiment with my hair everyday and that's why I keep my hair long like yours because you can wear so many different styles short hair is too damn hard to keep and I don't like short hair but that is me I give myself volume I have used everything out there on the market the only thing that works for me is I will take either baking soda baking powder or cornstarch about the size of a dime and rub it in my hands real good and then I work it through the roots of my hair and you talk about volume you've got volume that's that's my little trick that I found out over the years goes as we get older our hair thins out and I have natural curly hair but it's just enough to be on The flipping frizzy side and I have to really work at that and it also helps that as well just a little trick I thought I'd pass on to you maybe you do or don't know about it and hopefully you can get some use from it but I do like your video very much. Lights camera action.

Laurie

Best Music Lyrics: cool,love it

debbie d: The cocktail bell!! That was great! Lol

peepla7: your hair is beautiful!

Margot Robartes: Thank you so much. I am learning so much. Now it's a matter of finding hair extensions for sale in New Zealand. If not, one you have mentioned is Sally's and they may have on line sales. We have, sadly, a lot of places that sell wigs for those going through chemotherapy and there is even one at the end of my street. As I'm on crutches (have been after an accident 20 odd years ago) I will need someone to take me to have a look. For whatever reason, in the last 4 years I'm losing hair through breakages. I've tried all the things I've read about to improve the quality but it seems to no avail. Therefore I was excited to discover you. I too am in my 70's 71 to be accurate and I so enjoy looking good. Thank you so very much.

Metin Quliyev: Nice

Sharon Alden: I'm new to this kind of Technology... Could you tell me where I can find a step-by-step makeup that you do? Thank you

Teriqua Jones: You have great hair!!
