5 Minute Braided Updo (For Short Hair)

Do you short hair ladies want to learn how to do a 5 Minute braided updo?

In this tutorial, I will teach you how to do the cutest braided updo. and the best part is you don't even need to know how to french braid!!!!!!

Hi everyone, it's beth from sweethearts hair, welcome back to another tutorial and with a new short head model. Sorry, and so, if you're looking for a really simple easy, five minute, braided updo you've come to the right place. Let'S get started, i'm gon na start this style by just adding a little bit of lift in this crown area. You don't have to do this bit if you don't want the volume just a little bit at the roots, just to lift that style up. So i've just gathered this hair with a hair tie or elastic, i'm just going to place that into a ponytail and then i'm just going to hold on to it. Just create a little bit of movement. I'M not going to spend too long. It'S going to be a really quick updo and then i'm simply going to take a section of hair here, smooth it out with my fingers and just do an ordinary three strand braid, not too tight, because i am going to be teasing this out pop an elastic In now, the beauty of it is you've created a little anchor for yourself, so this braid is just going to come over this little ponytail get another elastic and you're just going to tie it in. So you don't need to use grips. You don't be like trying to hide your grips. You just pop that in like that, and that will just stay there same again on this side. Guys. Can you see i've left a bit out at the front and we're going to sweep that down in a little while so grab a section of hair, three strand braids? So you don't need to know how to french braid to do this style again. We'Re just going to take this one pick up that ponytail! Take it around that side, so i sort of almost wrap it around and again we're going to use an elastic to secure that i mean i'm not being funny guys, but that actually looks kind of cute as a half up spell. Doesn'T it but we're going to carry on so we're going to make it into an updo i'm going to go really quickly, another strand of hair, another braids. I love these really quick styles. So let me know in the comments, if you like my sort of more intricate styles or you like these, really quick ones that you can do in yourself drop me a comment below i'm kind of like angling, the braid upwards a little bit now so last little Bit here guys, i'm just going to basically break it into two, this little tuft of hair. Here, i'm going to do a very, very, very short, little breeze and then a little braid on the other side. If there is any little babies that don't go in, don't worry, you can just pin those up in a minute, i'm just going to take hold of this side and just kind of wrap it around and then pin it straight up here and then this little one. I'M just going to take across the other way and pin it up there. So, lastly, we're going to just deal with the side bits. Now you don't need to leave these bits out. You can just kind of braid them in straight away, but i just want to make the style look a little bit softer, so i'm just adding a little bit of back comb to the sides so just to help it all hold in. I kind of want these bits kind of like almost sweeping over the ear, so i'm just going to add an elastic to the end of this piece of hair and it's just going to make it more controllable, more easy to tuck. So let me show you what i mean: i'm just going to kind of lift up, one of those braids and just kind of tuck. This hair in i'm just going to use another pin and just push that in to secure it. So i've chosen just to leave a few bits out here. You could curl those, but i'm just going to leave them soft today. I absolutely love the sweeping effect by leaving those sides out and you'd never know she had short hair from the back. I just think it looks so cute. You only need to know to braids, and so let me know i've got an amazing video if you want something a little bit more edgy a little bit. Funkier just watch this next video coming off again, it's really simple techniques. It looks a little bit different, so there we go

Noella: As a cosmetologist and updo specialist I love watching your videos so much! I’ve learned so much from you! You are truly a updo unicorn I love simple and very detailed work the same !! It comes down to how much time I have doing multiple ladies for their wedding that day, and also what type of updo there looking for! I’ve taking a lot of your tips and tricks with me and use them often!! I’m so Thankyou for you

Katrina Sheets: Wow!!!! There are no words for how much I LOVE this style!!! This is definitely something I can do on myself and not have to worry about getting it perfect or perfectly straight parts in the hair. This is definitely a two for one because it also looks gorgeous half up/half down as well as in an updo. Thanks so much for sharing this!!!

Theresa Mandic: Love these quick easier hairstyles, beautiful thank you!!

Alice Cookie: This is so beautiful! I’d love to see more hairstyles for shorter hair and also more simple ones like this as I’m thinking to cut my hair to a long bob! I adore your tutorials!

Oonagh72: I love this for a wedding. The bridesmaids could wear the half up look and the bride could wear the full updo. This would work on longer too!

MLC Bean: Amazing! My daughter just cut 13 inches off her hair. I'm glad to know that I can still do a variety of styles! This one is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this!

P.S.I also watch your videos bc I love your British accent! Although, you will say we Americans have the accent! I just love the way you say “hair!”

Sarah Kotlinski: I have silver hair that is just a touch longer than the model's. This is so gorgeous and I think would show off the tone variations in my hair. Not sure I can do it on myself but I am going to try!

Mkc Lore: *REALLY LOVE THIS STYLE!! QUICKLY, ELEGANT AND EASY!!! THANKS BETH **#SweetHeartsHairDesing**!!*

glow wills: I absolutely love this!

KM Shannon: Beth, this style is perfect! Genius idea!..using an anchor.

Lia Shah: I love this style!! Do you think it would work if I just tied the first bit (the anchor) with an elastic and used pins on the rest? I just don't like using a lot of elastics because taking them out will fray the ends if the client isn't careful - also just takes more time than removing pins. I'm definitely gonna try it and see if I can find a solution there but I'd love to know what you think!

Carmen Esther Acosta: Eres mi inspiración!. Me encanta tu trabajo, aprendo mucho de ti!

Kim Owen: Fabulous!

Turquoise Heart: Unique tatoo. I wonder it could have several meanings: change. Other/ someone else. (Be) jealous... lovely updo as well

Diane Bucka: I love this and hope I can do it myself! I have curly hair and LAYERS.....any suggestions?

Haleema zafar here: Woww its amazing...

yellowbird500: I prefer quick styles that I can do myself. I’ve spent too much money paying stylists for updos that look nothing like the photo I bring. I never ask for difficult updos, for example, a chignon with straight wisps around my face. What do I get? Ringlets that are meant for younger girls. I’m 60 years old and look ridiculous with ringlets around my face.

April Rogers: Love this

ΘΕΟΛΟΓΙΑ ΜΙΧΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ: Excellent work

Destiny Price: What tool did tou use to create the crimp volume

Judy Sparks: Love this style as I don’t like my ears showing so struggle with up does. Can you be a dear and pop round and do it for me

Sarita Coz: Hermoso saludos desde Guatemala

Andi Lam:

Pamela Bosworth: Beautiful X

camy mary: What type of products do you use for volume and fluff, plz?

Barby Guerrero: Me gustó mucho

sunita thind: So pretty

Victoria Barr: I love watching these but I feel like these quick styles should mention the prep that's gone into them, because you are the crimping effect going on in the hair which is unnatural and therefore makes a five minute style a slight misnomer x

3d work💯: ❤️❤️

Petronela Nita: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

マイナス20Kgダイエット: これはすごい!

3d work💯: Plz make two bun hairstyles

Soumya Shyam: Wow

stayhappylittle mermaid: Stop worrying and be happy.

Noella: If it showed I disliked your video I didn’t!! I loved it but my finger slipped and I turned and clicked the like button right after!! So please ignore that

Nancy st.amour: Her hair looks crimped. Is that for volume?? If so, that's no longer a 5 minute hairstyly

Kim Steffes: Like the intricate ones better

Augastina Cleatus:

Gila B aus B: You tolk about a 5 min updo. But honest you have to do mutch more efford. I see you have zigzag the hair at the roots.
