How To: Voluminous Curls | Wedding Hair | Hannah Hatt

Hey guys for today's tutorial, I'm going to show you how to create these big soft voluminous curls that I wore my wedding day. I will be using my hair extensions and the hair extensions and I will be using are the Bellamy Lillie hair in dark brown. So I just section them into groups, so I have the two two two clip weft, the three three clip weft and the two four clip weft together, so that it's a little more organized. So I'm just going to show you how I apply them, how I put them in so first off, i'm just brushing my hair and it's super frizzy, but that's fine as Yule style it and it look much better. So what I do is I take my thumb's and I kind of meet like the middle of my ear and then I meet my thumb's together and then the line doesn't have to be perfect at all you're not going to see it. I don't tease actually when I apply my hair extensions, because these hair extensions are just so amazing that you don't even need to tease your hair. They just seriously stay in. So I'm just going to clip that section off and then put in my three clip weft. Now what I do to organize the extensions is I write on permanent marker. I just um palm little letters on the webs, so with this one I wrote a little B for bottom and then the middle one I put in them and then for the one that goes in the very top I put a tee and then the extensions that Go on the sides. I just put an R for the one that goes on the right and I didn't have to write anything on the 2/4 clip weft, because one of the four clip weft is longer so I was able to tell them apart so yeah. That'S just kind of how I'm able to know which one's go where so yeah I put in the middle one right here and then we're about to put in the forklift you now I'm putting in the smaller for clip weft and then at the very end. After this one we're putting in the last three clip weft the one with the T for top now for the sides, I just take my pointing finger - and I start from - I guess my temples on this side, and I just part my hair. You can see right there and I'm just applying my two clip left for the left side and I clip in the last lift. This is the very last one on the right side and now my hair is super thick and it looks ridiculous at first. So that's! Okay, because we're not going to start curling it, so what I do is I just take a section of hair like that and you brush through it, and then I wrap it around the wand. This is the Bellamy, so I don't know what inch it is, but I will put that down below. I just put it on leave it on there for a few seconds, and then I just let it drop in my hand, so it's still really warm. This is a draw. I get a little too excited, because that was just a perfect curl anyway, I um scrunch it back up like a sling and then I clip it with a bobby pin and I let it set. So that's basically what I do with the whole head, as you can see um, but if you can see right there, you see my so my layers falling out, so I do is I kind of I grab as much of my own hair as possible, and then I um, and then I gather in a little bit of the extension so that it blends really nicely that makes sense at all. I just want them to look very um blended and because I hate it when you're you can pick out your natural hair out of your extension. So so yeah, that's what I do, I'm just going into the other section of hair. It'S going to take a really long time and later on, you will see, like my face, just looks so sweaty because there's just so much hair and your arms are up for so long and it's it does get pretty tiring, but the end result is pretty awesome. Member and I finish last curl and I'm done so - this is it, it looks so cute. Now I'm just going to spray my whole head with some hairspray and I'm just going to let it sit for maybe like five minutes, five or seven minutes, and now we are going to take out all of the bobby pins. This is the fun part, I'm just going around now making sure I grabbed all of the pin there's. So many that's what it looks like when I let all the curls out and then I'm just going to brush through my hair with a paddle brush. And I like this, look because it kind of just blends everything nicely makes it look very soft. And - and this is the result is very, very voluminous - very thick lots and lots of hair pretty crazy, but I love it. I'M sorry the lighting is so bad. I had to like turn on the light, because it was just getting way too dark outside next time. I will make sure I make all of the videos in the daytime, because it just took so much time that the Sun was setting and it was too dark anyway. This is the look.
