I Didn'T Wash My Hair For 13 Days...

I haven't washed my hair since 2022, it's been 13 days a lot of y'all DM me and asked me how I was able to even pull this off, but this is not the first time I ever done this. So let me tell you how I actually trained my hair to do this and before you click out of this video, because you're so tired of hearing people say that they train their hair. I also used to wash my hair every single day, but because I have color treated hair, I didn't want my hair color to fade, so I forced myself to train my hair. I started by washing my hair every other day and it felt so disgusting disgusting, as in I felt all the oils in my hair, and that was just the only thing I was thinking about and like the only thing I wanted to do was just to wash My hair, but no I had to stick it through it and then every other day turned into every three days turned into every four days. You know the drill. I also got all my friends who used to wash their hair every single day to be able to wash it every other day. The secret is the living proof dry shampoo. So it's not impossible, but if it's not for you, then it's not for you.

GGfr: I just wanted to remind everyone that you should wash your hair the way it works for you. Some need to wash their hair every day, some night wash it once a month, but as long as it’s healthy and thriving, that’s all that matters. So don’t judge someone by the timeline of their wash days just because it doesn’t work for you. For example, with really curly hair, some, even me, can go a good three weeks without wash day. While others might have to wash every other day or every day or smt like that. But again, as long as your hair is healthy do what you’re supposed to do, and don’t judge anyone just because it doesn’t work for you or you’re not used to it

mywingsareyours: Just a reminder: not everyone can do this!! If your scalp is getting to the point where it burns/itches, that means you shouldn't be going that long because your scalp is getting too much build up to the point where it's harming your skin and hair follicles by clogging em up. I say try to stretch it as long as you can, but if that's still just every day or every other day, that's just how your body works. I can go 7-15 days because I have super dry skin and hair, but I do get scalp buildup so I always try to wash before it starts to hurt or itch. It's about finding the right balance that is right for you

Nadiah Porter: I wash my hair everyday and it's super healthy, soft and thick it's not dead at all, do what works best for you!!

Dream to Reality *DTR: As a black woman hearing people that aren't of color washing there hair everyday is crazy I wash my hair at the most once a month I find it interesting how different hair types take care of their hair

•you key•: I always find it interesting to hear about people who don’t wash their hair everyday cause with the weather of where I live, hair definitely gets oily a lot more easily but also all the sweating would make it impossible for me to endure not washing my hair everyday

Clair 1090: As a black girl we can go weeks without washing our hair.

Omegaaura: Hey remember it’s based on your hair type! You aren’t gross for washing your hair every other day or a few times a week or whatever, it’s all based on your hair!! I don’t wash every day, I usually wash at least every other day and at most (usually a depression spike when I physically do not have the energy) once a week. She is not saying YOU are gross for not washing your hair daily, she’s relating HER experience!

Summer: I have long, thick, and healthy blond hair, and people ask me all the time. "How is your hair so shiny and hydrated?" And my answer is not washing my hair more than twice a week. And most people are like, "How does your hair not get greasy and always look clean?" And my answer? I never washed my hair a lot even when I was younger. I have really long hair, so washing my hair is a process and due to it taking a long time it forced me to go long periods of time without washing my hair and my hair and scalp just got used to it. I would definitely recommend not washing your hair every day, especially if you have a really oily scalp or a really dry scalp. I used to have an extremely dry scalp, and I gradually started going for longer periods of time without washing my hair, and now my scalp is neither dry nor oily.

Ishlene Bazaz: As someone with dry hair, it produces no oils and once after surgery I didn’t wash my hair for about 2 months and when I tell you my scalp barely had any oils on it, I was so surprised I’m jealous of people who need to wash their hair often cus I wash mine once a week n even then I don’t need too

mothzu: At the beginning of the pandemic i unintentionally started washing my hair less and less until i was washing my hair every 5-8 days. My hair wouldn’t start looking oily until around the 5th day. For some reason at the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year my parents told me I had wash my hair everyday except Saturday and I had no choice. Now my hair gets really oily just after about 18 hours after I wash it and it pisses me off sm

lovley loner : THIS IS WHY YOUR HAIR IS HEALTHY AND HASN’T FELL OUT not only does the stylist and colorist know what they are doing But your not stripping your hair of it’s essential oils everyday leaving the cuticle healthier and stronger ❤ Congrats now get a silk pillow case to protect it even more and you should be Gucci.

Carly G.: I normally wash my hair 2 times a week. Sometimes I’ll wish it 1 time, or 3 times, it just depends on how much time I have and obviously how much I think my hair needs washed. I have very thick, wavy hair, so I don’t need to wash it a lot. If I don’t wash it for more then a week, it gets flat and greasy at the top, but that’s just me! My friend with slightly thick, straight hair washes her hair almost every day, my cousin with really thick, curly hair washes her hair 1 or 2 times every 2 weeks. Hair is hair! Do what your hair needs, nobody else knows what your hair needs better then you.

sapphires_on_jupiter: Ik a lot of people recommend you wash your hair often, but it all depends on your hair, and in some cases, the products you use. I used to wash my dry, short, 4c hair every week, but that resulted in drier, problematic hair. Eventually, I tried washing every 2 weeks with a new type of shampoo for my hair type and it made a BIG difference. So just find what works best for you

Lil’ Monster: As a black woman I know all about training your hair as we do it since very young

Diya Rao: Me who washes my hair once every two weeks anyway bc it’s so dry

Carat Suji: I did the same thing when I had some time off from school! It's the best thing I've ever done. I now wash it once a week and they have never felt healthier, I have almost no breakage and I don't lose as much hair as before. I highly recommend it! You really gotta stick through tho!

Savannah Kitchens: An important thing to remember is everyone's hair is different. I'm assuming from what she said her hair used to get oily quicker since she had to wash it everyday. I can go for almost a week without it being greasy.

Zee :): During lockdown I started washing my hair every 2nd day simply because I was bored and tried everything to feel productive. Fast forward to 2021 right up until mid 2022, my hair was so dry and thin(I used to have super thick hair) and I couldn't understand why it wasn't growing. I started using coconut oil in my hair the night before my hair wash day and trimmed my hair regularly. I now have my thick, healthy and fast growing hair back and wash my hair once a week. Do what works for you guys!!

that one girl: Just so everyone knows, you can get yeast infections on your scalp. It makes sense but I never thought about it. All those years of an itchy scalp and scratching til I bleed wasn't dandruff, it was yeast overgrowth. So I do need to wash more but I'm trying to solve my issue so I can wash less. I hope there will be a day when my scalp is well-balanced and happy.

I Don'tKnow: meanwhile, us curly girls are dying at the thought of washing our hair more than once a week

Angstbringer: I have to say dry shampoo (I use a powder version from Foamie, because it costs less, goes a long way and the packaging is all cardboard) really helped me to go from having to wash my hair every other day to once a week. I can now use scalp oils without being afraid of how greasy my hair will be after and I just make sure to get the dry shampoo out of my scalp by combing it thoroughly.

Christian: As someone in the medical field, I tell you that you can not train your hair to do this. Sigh I wish people would just stop spreading these things on the internet

Luci: My hair gets oily super fast, though washing it every day makes it look and feel so dry and frizzy. For me washing it every 2-3 days works best. Not everyone has the same kind of hair so make sure to wash it according to your needs! :]

Unnati Jain: As someone with virgin straight hair, oily scalp, I have no option but to wash my hair in every 2-3 days max because dry shampoo only creates more buildup leading to more hairfall. I think dry shampoos should only be used when shampooing is just not an option cause all it is is a bottle full of harsh and damaging chemicals, might not be ideal for long term hair health.

Sanjana S.: i’ve always washed my hair every week but i can’t imagine trying to go longer… props to you!!

Daniel Days: i’ve been washing my hair every other day ever since i was young and have continued that now and my hair has been at its healthiest even when i’ve dyed my hair. i recently started using function of beauty a couple months ago and my hair has never been better

Kailey Enns: I finally got to a full 7 days, this is possible and I did it with zero product. Now my hair looks good and washed for a solid 4 to 5 days and then I'll use a Pont tail for 2 or 3 days. It is really good for your hair to go as long as possible so that natural oils can do their job.

Chunni Lal: I watch my hair once a week. I have normal kind of hair. If I wash it twice or thrice a week, it gets somewhat dry and then I need to deal with loads of hairfall. If I skip washing, I can pass for like another week without washing but then it starts getting a little oily. By the end of the third week, I would want to wash my hair.

OnlyJames: Question for those who wash their hairs once every few weeks, what type of hair do y'all have and what do y'all do to prevent your scalp from smelling bad?

Rat King: This can cause hair loss if you sweat often. DHT is released when you sweat which can make your hair fall out if it builds up. Avocado oil can help prevent this but it’s good to keep your scalp clean.

NO: I guess “trained” my hair without realizing it, I’ve always been able to go over 4 days without washing my hair, it looks oily and would feel oily if I touched it, but I never felt it without my hands touching it. I still wash my hair every other day, cause it does get super oily fast if I don’t wash it for a while, so I wash it mondays, wednesdays, fridays, and Saturdays, so it stays in loop

SaaHaaRii Vlogz: as a girl with 3B/3C hair, (and black) i’ve always been taught to wash my hair once a week .. and now i’ve started to wash my hair every 1 and a half because i do have naturally good hair and i don’t get oil too fast or slow.. !

Lucy: The thing that helped me the most was the co-wash. Helps my colour stay, helps my hair stay healthy and washes away the dry shampoo/hair spray etc that was on my head previously. Now I'll wash my hair really thoroughly and conditioning mask, add argan oil before blow drying or air drying, add dry shampoo for texture, then the next day style and top up dry shampoo if needed then the next day co-wash, argan oil, dry, then dry shampoo then the next day dry shampoo. Then the day after repeat a thorough wash and then condition and repeat the cycle so I can go almost a week without washing, I could go longer and repeat the co-wash but I feel 5 days is good enough for me personally. On the day I do a deep wash I make it my weekly deep clean, shaving, exfoliating etc. And just make a pamper day out of it.

Luka: I used to wash my hair every day, but it started getting SUPER oily. I've had to train it to be good for 3-4 days. But if I wash it 2 days in a row, I have to retrain it again. It's so annoying but it works

MS.THCKTHICK😏: Washing ur hair every 2 weeks can be a cultural thing as well...I along with many other melinated people are taught from a young age that depending on the porosity of ur texture and depending on build up in ur hair the span in which to wash varies from 1 to 2 weeks.... so it's actually intriguing to know some people wash their hair every day or every other

jijihadid: i live in an asian country and i do this too. my family and friends are weirded out by it but it actually works great for my hair. doing it makes my hair shinier and less dry lol. some people even asked me what my hair care routine was and i just told them not to wash their hair lmao. they probably thought i was joking tho....

May World Dream: Yas Gal xxx I have also trained my Hair during the LOCKDOWN, and is the best thing I have ever done, my hair is curly, and also colored ... well, let me tell you that: my hair is healthier, my scalp feels healthier and is not oily as many peeps would think, my color keep longer, and it is NOT a BAD thing that: my hair products last longer and my wallet is happier heheh btw When I tried to suggest to my friend I get that filthier look ever haha TY for Sharing, Great VID YAYYY

•d i a n a•: same i washed my hair every day and that’s how i felt with the stage i am at now having it every other day, but i will never go back my hair feels so much smoother and healthier! idk if i’ll ever want to do you 13 days of not washing but it’s nice to know what training my hair to do that is possible!

Danielle MCcombs: I wash my haif once a month. As a black girl with locs that's all I need. Washing too often strips our hair of its natural nutrients which makes the hair weak and brittle and doesn't encourage growth. But this video is very interesting. She's "trained" her hair. Very cool.

ciel: i used to wash my hair every 2 days and because of it, my hair was literally greasy the day after washing it so i decided to train my hair aswell, and now its gotten to the point where i wash it an absolute maximum of 2x a week but in most cases once a week

Nikita's Feels: I usually wash mine every Wednesday and Sunday. And I notice how by the time I have to wash it, it gets oily and gross. I've heard some say hair training is a lie and it doesn't work but I see it working for me. I remember once my mom was mad at me for having dirty hair. Guess what? She asked my dad which was there at the moment if my hair was dirty and he said: "It's not that bad." and it was wash day. I have fine hair but as I mentioned, this works for me very well. The only issue I'm trying to fix is finding out what causes my hair to get sticky after washing it. I'm leaning towards the hair conditioner/shampoo mix that is maybe too much for my hair and causes it to feel sticky. So I've been washing my hair only with shampoo and using thin hair oils after. So it stays moisturized and doesn't weight too much to fall off.

Rose Kidd: I’ve also been training my hair. I haven’t washed my hair in about 4 days now and it’s just now starting to get that weird stringy and greasy look. I used to wash my hair every day and I noticed how unhealthy my hair was starting to feel so I decided to start by washing it every other day for a few weeks and then eventually every two days and now I can go anywhere between 4-6 days without washing my hair before it looks gross and feels gross.

Marta Ribeiro: I have super oily hair and it took me years to train my hair to be washed less but everyone has their limits. I was able to go from every day to every 2 days to every 3 days and now I do 4 days even though I was trying to go every 6 days for a very long time but it just wasn’t working so I figured I’d stop trying, my hair is the way it is and 4 days is all it can do.

cvrrvtae♡︎_: me who washes her hair every couple weeks unpurposefully: ️️

neoCHAOSitizen: My highest count was around a month when I had my med school finals. I normally wash my hair atleast once every week or two and let me tell you my hair was soo greasy, smelly and sticky by the end of that month. There was a HUGE mound of hair fall in my drain when I washed it after and it was not the most fun experience ;-;

: I wash my hair every three days- meaning go two days without and wash on the third day, and then i also cowash - using only my preferred conditioner every other and then doing preferred shampoo and conditioner every other. I also do oil in my hair and scalp like crazy. my hair used to take FOREVER to grow and it would get weak and brittle on the ends no matter what i did- i have had many seasons in my life of no color treating, no heat application, and just in my hair care mojo and still my ends would just give up on me no matter what i did lol.... routine cuts even when i don't think i'm due for one has finally prevented the brittle and breakage and my hair is growing quick AF. i wasn't a huge believer in cowashing or letting natural oils "build up" in the hair but if done properly..... it's super beneficial!

~ chikuuu ~: is it just me that can go months without washing my hair? i do it more regularly now, but once every week or two weeks is enough for me, sometimes every few weeks. it doesn’t smell or get oily or anything and if i wash it more often than that it gets really frizzy and dry

EmotionlessGirl: I was able to get away with 9 days without any sweat smell, then I had to shower lol. My hair is Thick and Curly and just washing properly and brushing it out is enough. If you’re wondering how I wash my hair, check out the channel Live Laugh Hair or whatever.. Live Love Hair?? I can’t remember. Like most professional hair channels, it’s a Middle Aged bald dude.

Bird: It's funny how as kids we where made fun of for only washing our hair once a week (used tank water and had 4 siblings with long ass hair, we had no choice) And now I get to be thankful that I never needed to train it...having bleached hair definitely helps tho, now I can push it to 2 weeks

Desire Fama: I wash my hair when I can’t get away with not washing it. I have curly hair, so my ends are drier than a desert, and my roots sadly aren’t much better. So, by the time my hair gets oily, easily a week and a half can have passed. And no, I do not use dry shampoo. But, due to my work I sometimes have to wash my hair before it gets oily. Because my hair is so dry I wash it as little as possible while using hydrating products on my hair as often as possible. Yay curly dry hair and psoriasis on my scalp!

obiovslyamused: As a hairdresser i can say: wash your hair when you need to!!!! You cant "train" your hair and when you still think it can, then go and learn things about skin and hair like a hairdresser!!!!!

Alynn Vidal: I am a hair stylist and have taken seminars with literal dermatologist that say this is absolutely the worst thibg you can do to your hair. I don't understand why its normal to be unhygenic with your hair, like imagine not washing your hands for 13 days because "your skin is dry" the reason yall's hair is dry and crinkly is because you're not washing correctly or with products that are made for your scalp and hair type as a maximum you should only leave your hair unwashed every other day, and have a consultation with a trichologist or a dermatologist that is specialized in scalp and hair health. This trend of keeping your hair dirty isn't doing anyone other than sebum eating parasites any favors. Wash your damn hair

Save the Endangered: Started taking showers everyday recently, even with color treated hair. Honestly it makes me feel calmer in a more stressful environment! That's for me personally though!

Kirah .H: Fun fact i learned about my body, the hardness level (treatment level and minerals present) of your water has the biggest impact on how your skin and hair acts. Example, i have lived in hard water places (over 100) my whole life. I have always had to wash my hair at least every third day or it would be a slick mess. Same with my skin. Over produce oil and break outs. Did some work in a area with soft water (20-30) and it was like i had a brand new body. Could go a week without washing my hair and it being still ok. And didnt break out once despite being stressed the whole time. This annoys me to no end because now im back in hard water and my body is crying out of frustration. Seriously considering getting a hardwater filter but they are very expensive and apparently not that effective. Also a renter so... yay

PB: I wash my hair everyday. I tried to train my hair by washing it every other day (i did it religiously for 3 years) andddd nothing. I live in tropical country where everyday is hot sunny day, and because i am chinese, my hair is very thin, soft, and volume-less . pros is, your hair is clean and smells great everyday~ Stop comparing your hair to everyone, just do what you feel right.

Anahita Hassanzade: I wash my hair once a week and it looks it's best on day 2- 4 post wash. Can't even imagine how dry my hair would be if I washed it everyday.

VoteWithYourMoney: I honestly can't believe anyone washes their hair every day. The only time I ever rewash my hair the very next day is if I planned poorly and ended up going swimming or something. It's just crazy to me how some people think it's legit gross to wash your hair every 3 days or something, but my hair would be SO dry and damaged if I didn't wash the way I do

If Only You Knew: I am glad that as a kid my mom taught me to only wash my hair once a week. It made it so much easier as I didn't have to go through the awkward phase

Raven V.G: I also do this. I havent seen my natural hair color in about 3 years. My mom hated that i stopped taking showers as often but its kept my hair healthy. Sure sometimes it sucks but its super healthy for your hair and scalp. Then theres the plus of my color lasting longer. (Also i am a natural blonde so i use minimal bleach other people who use more bleach should really probably do this)

certified space bisexual: my ADHD and texture issues keep me from washing it less than every other day

Faith Stedman: I tried that dry shampoo and tbh it doesn’t work much better than any of the others I’ve tried. Not a bad product by any means, but there’s more cost efficient ones out there that work just as well. I used to wash my hair every day and now I do it 1-2x a week! Anything past that is just too long and it starts to look really gross

the man in your cabinet: for me, my hair is super dry but gets oily SO quick so i wash it every day/two days so it actually looks okay i also have short hair so its really hard to mantain sometime

darkschweppes: that moment when you’ve trained your hair to be washed once every four to six days via being depressed

xoxoalj: Girl ur hair looks so good without washing it , my hair get very oily if i dont wash it for 4 days

Madi Borne: Yeah well I tried training my hair for my 3 month summer break and it did absolutely nothing for me. I wouldn’t wash my hair for like 3 days, and would feel absolutely disgusting, but did it anyways cause a bunch of people told me to. Guess how my hair was by the end of the 3 month period? Still oily after a day. This whole training your hair thing doesn’t work for a lot of people and I’m sick of people insisting it works for everyone because it doesn’t

☻︎ .̆̈ᴛʜᴇʏ ᴄᴀʟʟ ᴍᴇ ʀᴀɪɴ .̆̈☻: yesss! I wash my hair about every 3-4 days. it’s not gross. I treat my hair like how i want myself to feel.

♡ lana kei: I badly wanted to try and train my hair so I tried over the quarantine, but it didn't work for me! I tried to use dry shampoo in between washes as well, but I break out pretty bad on my scalp with it along with the oils on my hair The combo just made my scalp feel super sore and unpleasant. Even without dry shampoo, by the 2nd day of not washing, my scalp will start to break out. So unfortunately, I got to stick with washing my hair daily, but I admire all who are able to go even a day without washing!

Alceroi: Since 2020 i got so lazy i just stopped washing my hair for days on end until my mom forced me to take a shower, since then i have been able to train my hair to last 3 days max cause its thin, really straight and got greasy within 5 hours before i started. I never thought i could ever leave it for more than a day before this and I definitely have to say it was mainly because i used a conditioner from doterra on my scalp that it stays nice for more than a couple days and yes use the conditioner on your scalp but only that one, its the only one i could ever use on my scalp

Cheshire Cat: I am a curly girl. You know the drill, a LOT of product and you don’t want it all go down the drain every day, plus it is not just scrub, condition, blow dry. It is a workout. Anyways I also have neurodermatitis, the worst on my scalp since I am little and honestly, hair wise, I could go longer than a week. And I would love to. Sometimes I can not even go longer than half a week because my scalp literally flakes nonstop and it gets stuck with all the products and gel and it is not pleasing to see it all the time when you scratch yourself without noticing. And also it just layers up and somehow „clogs“ the scalp and all. I wish it was not like that. I actually went 6months no-poo, which worked great too, especially since at the time I used no products as well, sometimes I still do it in between actual wash days.

Val: I really have tried to go more than two days without washing my hair…. It ends up becoming red and itchy because of all the oils and bacteria sitting there. So I try to wash my scalp every other day but I will wash my actual length maybe once or twice a week so it doesn’t get too dried out at the ends

daynjer_boy: My hair and skin would just get wayyy too dry if I washed it every day. Even on the days that I do wash my hair and legs come out dry, but my hair keeps it’s shape for about 2-3 days (I shower in the morning) and I have a lotion for my legs My hair is also ear length so I can’t condition or I’d get too greasy and that’s not so good- I also just love showers so I restrict them to every second day at max, because when I wake up on the 3rd day I feel like I’ve been dipped in grease and dirt

blackcrampons: I've been training my hair for 3 years, still as oily as ever & my scalp is just as if not more itchy

Melanie Goossen: I washed my hair every 2 weeks, but when I’m on vacation, and i go every day in the swimming pool, I washed it everyday. But when the vacation was over, my hair would go within a day from dry to really oily so, I had to train my hair to not wash it everyday. So I started with 3 days, 5 days, 1 week, 1,5 week, 2 weeks. So it’s true that you have to train your hair, but actually you have to train your scalp by not producing oils that fast.

Nყx: it actually depends on how many days can your hair stay without being greasy my limit is 3 days so I wash every 4th day and this can differ from person to person dry hair people can wash once a week whereas oily hair people have to wash atleast the other day

SockMan: I don't wash my hair either. I've literally gone a month or two without washing my hair. I have extremely curly hair and yet, no lice. Absolutely nothing.

Kat: My mom would wash my hair every other day when I was little and that's what I've done, all 13 years of my life. I have thick hair and while oily hair does get on my nerves, it takes 3 full days before it feels gross.

Ana Mache-Stan: Since i was a kid i only washed my hair once a month, so for me, washing it more often leads to breakage and extremely dry hair, never heard anyone else mention it and idk why lol

Elyssa Morris: As a black woman, I could never wash my hair everyday. I opt for once a week

Nikki Turner: My hair is thick and very curly. If I was to wash it that often it would be dry as shit! It's a balancing act, if I wash too often I wash off valuable oils that haven't even come close to traveling down my hair making it dry. If I go longer between washes my hair gets bigger and curlier but dryer too, so i cant win. I apply innersense dry shampoo foam to my roots towards the end of my washday cycle and curlsmith moisture memory reactivator on my lengths to give them a bit of moisture as the days go on. I usually leave it around 15/,20 days then spend a cpl of hours on washday really putting the effort in, plenty protein, moisture and holding products. This works for me but everyone's different ‍♀️

Stacey Vokes: If you want to go down this root be prepared to have greasy hair for 6 months. It will always look greasy no matter how many layers of dry shampoo you use. But then after, you'll never need to wash it again.

Moon_Studios YT: I wash mine twice a week, once with medicated shampoo for my sensitive scalp and dandruff and conditioner and the second time with just conditioner which stops it going into mad static mode where the oy thing I can do with it is put it in a plait or ponytail at the base of my skull, any more and it'll get more static or greasy and just put of control I think my hair is 2 b so it's not curly but it's not straight but the shorter strands of hair form ringlets (they're fun to pull and just let go of because they act like a spring)

*~Lxvinq~*: GIRL I can go 3 months without washing my hair and it will still look healthy. I usually do it once every 2 weeks but when I have box braids then I dont.

Marissa Cote: I've been washing my hair on a once-weekly or biweekly basis for probably 10 years. My scalp is just as oily as it was when I started (i.e. very oily)

Kamsi Eze: haven't washed my hair in like almost a month but my braids are still good

Abbie Smith: I prefer my hair oily tbh. I used to wash every other day, then it turned into every 3 days and right now I haven’t washed my hair in 6 days and it feels normal. I’m thinking that washing once a week will probably be my sweet spot. Obviously for some people oil training is a way bigger pain in the ass but for my hair it’s done nothing but help

Camilla kh.: I don't mind when my hair looks slightly greasy and yes, I can use dry shampoo but what about the smell? I feel like it really smells bad if I skip more than 1-2 days of washing schedule

delete it, roach 🪲🪲: Yea I was my hair every other day, only because my mom swears by it. But back then, like a few years ago, I refused to wash my hair. I would go weeks without washing my hair (mainly because I had some major unsolved and undiagnosed depression) and I guess during the lock down, I had enough of it.

Vendula Řeháková: I wash my hair twice a week since it doesn’t get oily that much, but my friend has to wash her hair everyday since her hair gets oily so quickly. Everyone takes care of their hair differently and should do what fits them.

Kergilliack6: I'm so jealous. I have tried to train my hair but to no avail. I wash it every other day when I'm at work (I work on farms) but it needs to be washed every day to look good.

Emmalyn Pinnegar: I’ve trained my hair because I go camping a lot it’s just how my family is and most sites we go to don’t have the best showers so we usually go without showering or at least washing our hair for however long we’re there it’s usually a week or two. I also trained my hair because I have natural highlights and I don’t want the color to fade so I usually don’t wash my hair everyday.

kiana: i'm black and natural afro textured hair is naturally dry, so most of us look forward to the natural oils making it's way down our hair shaft those two weeks (on average) between wash days.

Pancake Syrup: im autistic and hate baths/showers so i inadvertently trained my hair to be washed once every 5-7 days

mona: I have thick Low-key dry hair by nature. It's also wavy and I can't wash it every day no way - every few days yes. If I were to do it every day my hair would feel like a broom and look like one too. Everyone has different types mine requires washing every 4 days because the oils come In so late and I need those to keep my hair and scalp hydrated‍♀️

Crybaby: I’m training my hair. Used to have to wash it everyday in order to dodge grease, now I can go a week before it gets greasy

The fan girl: I wash my hair twice a week it’s really good my hair is really healthy and really thick it barley falls out and I don’t loose hair plus if you brush your hair before shower it will help with hair loss and deep condition you’re hair later when it’s 40-60 percent dry

Maximellow: I wash my hair once a week and when I do I make sure there's some oil left in my hair. Oil in hair is healthy! It's supposed to be there. My hair stays fluffy really long

•°•. V4n1llA FL0w3R •°.*: Personally for me, my hair looks very weird and ugly when I wash it, it looks its best when I haven't washed it for more than 5 days, and it doesn't look or feel oily And by the way, no my hair isn't curly, I don't know why or how but its just what works with my hair

Melonstrong V1.0: I only shower once a week and whenever i have worked hard and was sweaty. I dont sweat a lot. Ive always done this. My hair holds 3 6% bleachings with ease. Healthy as ever.

Some random Roblox kid: I can agree with this because ever since I was younger i would always have natural oils in my hair which kept my hair at such a long length like up to my knees and super healthy and now people say to me “I bEt YoUr hAiR iS fAke ” just because my hair really curly and Long

Jazzy Jazz: I used to wash my hair every day and had no issues . But I was told that it was bad so I started to train my hair washing it once a week but it did the opposite my hair started to fall and I had build up in my scalp which I never dealt with before. For me I can only go 2-3 days without washing my hair after that my scalp gets really itchy and the oils weight down my hair since the oils travel to almost half of my hair
