How I Stopped My Hair Loss - Massive Hair Growth Update + Tips For Hair Growth

Today I'm sharing what I've done in the last several years to stop my hair loss and actually get new hair growth! Here's more info on the system I have used for over 2 years now: https://glnk.io/kx65/marlena and if you use MARLENA at checkout, you will save money if you decide to try this system out too. This along with changing my diet and finding out my gut issues has been a life saver!

I've struggled with hair loss since about 2012 when my hair suddenly just fell out and I lost 50% of my hair. I saw many doctors and did enough tests to qualify as a science project.... I connected with IRestore to see if their system would work for me and after about 5-6 months of consistent use, saw good results! I also cleaned up my diet, saw holistic doctors to find out what nutrients I was missing, and I cut out starches and sugars. It took a bit to see results after making these changes, but I'm in SO much better spot than I was back in 2012.

PLEASE don't give up on your journey and remember that hair is only ONE of many beautiful aspects about you. Hair does not define your beauty. Sending you all so much love! xoxo

Welcome back to my channel for those of you who are new here, my name is marlena and on this channel i do a lot of makeup education, but i do some lifestyle content as well, but today's video is a big update on my hair loss because i've Been on youtube a long time and over almost 10 years now, i've been very open that i've had struggles with hair loss to be very vulnerable and honest right now, and i'm trying to get emotional about it because it still brings tears to my eyes when i Lost a lot of my hair, it affected me emotionally, really just badly, there's some sort of societal attachment to hair equating to beauty. So when you lose your hair, it really affects, at least for me, affected my self-esteem a lot, and i really struggled with that. For many years, and so i went on a quest trying everything out there to figure out what could i do to stop this hair from falling out or at least try to grow some of it back so in that journey, i've done a lot of things, and I finally found some answers that have helped me not get the hair that i used to have you know 15 years ago, but i definitely am in a better spot now than i was years ago and i feel like my hair has stopped falling out. It has stabilized i've gotten a little bit of growth back as well doing some specific things, so i just want to share with you all today. What has worked for me, so i'm gon na share with you today what has worked for me, what i've done and just give you an update on my hair loss, show you what's going on up here on this head of mine, so first thing that i found Out in my journey to help me get my hair to stop falling out was to fix my diet to find out what it is. I specifically needed. Now i went to traditional doctors, which i obviously still believe in. Please don't think i'm pushing you know non whatever medicine, i'm not a doctor. I'M just saying this is what worked for me. I was not getting answers with traditional doctors. I did blood work. I did tests, they, you know, pulled hair out of my scalp and examined it on a microscope. I got no answers at all, so i started seeing integrative doctors and holistic doctors to dive deeper into my health to find out what the heck was going on. They did blood tests, they found out that i was deficient in vitamin d and iron and some other vitamins, and that gave them an indication that my gut just wasn't working properly. I found that eventually i had like bacterial overgrowth, it's called sibo. I had some other health things going on. The whole story of that is to say that doctor figured out what vitamins and nutrients i needed to get my health into optimal place with traditional medicine a lot of times. It'S like you know, take this to fix this ailment and just feel better instantly, instead of finding out deep diving of what are you missing to be at your top, your optimal health and my body naturally does not does not break down foods properly. I'M missing a gallbladder. I had that taken out years ago and i found out through you know my integrative doctors too, that i have to take enzymes to help my body process, my food. As soon as i started taking enzymes, i noticed a huge difference in my energy, how i felt my hair growth everything. So i take digestive enzymes as well again meet with your doctor. These are ones my doctor had told me to take. So that was the first step that i did. The other thing that my doctor said he wanted me to do was to cut gluten and sugars out of my diet and dairy. He was like those are the top three offenders he tested me for celiac disease. It came back negative he's like i don't care what the test says he's like. I still want you to just try going gluten-free and see how you feel he told me: do it for three months, stick with it come back and tell me how you feel you got to give it time for your body to adjust. So i did. I did it for like almost six months before i came back and saw him you guys. The difference was massive, so definitely inspect your diet. For me, it was my top tiggers were gluten and sugars they're. Just i mean regardless they're, just not great for anyone at this point, so all i'm gon na say is just try. You know seeing in your diet what may make you feel better and then the other thing that i started doing and i've talked about this many times is - i started doing light therapy, so this is by the brand called i restore. This is not new to you guys if you've been on my channel. You know i've talked about them several times, so they have a hair, regrowth system and i connected with them years ago again, because i was trying to find anything that would help me and this actually really did work. So what it is is a regrowth system. It uses lights and laser therapy led and laser therapy and i'll show you in a second how to use it and what it does is it reaches down to the root of your hairs and helps stimulate growth. It does take a little while to see a difference in this, because i did this for several months and i would use it every other day for 25 minutes at a time, and it took me i would say five or six months before i started seeing growth Coming back in mostly on the top of my hair, so where i saw the growth a lot happen was right in here, because i kind of get like a baldy spot in here um and then back here on the back of my head, i lost a lot Of hair as well too so i noticed some regrowth in there. So what you do! It'S so easy you guys, so what you do is it has a little remote connected to it. I just leave this plugged in next to a cozy chair in my bedroom, so at night, when i'm relaxing i'm reading, i literally just slap this on and i let it sit for 25 minutes. So let me show you what it does. So what you do with this is you just put this on your head. It'S so easy! You all and i'm gon na, look so sexy right now. Okay, so you hit the power button, it'll light up and it gives you a timer for 25 minutes. So you know it'll beep, when it's done, you hit the start button. Can you all see in there the red lights in there and you don't feel anything it doesn't get hot or anything. You literally feel nothing. You just sit there literally for 25 minutes. Chill read a book have whatever have a nice glass of something you just sit there and chill for 25 minutes. You do this every day, every other day they say on their site. You start to see results from three to six months. For me, it was about five to six months when i started seeing results with it. So that is what i do to help my hair regrowth. In addition to taking my vitamins, cleaning up my diet and, of course drinking more water, too, has helped. Let me turn this off. They have two different models. They have, i believe it's a classic one, which is around 6.95. They have a professional version which is a little bit more than that i'll link to below. So you guys can check it out. I do have a code with them because i've worked with them for many years now so i'll put that here on the screen you guys can get a discount for that, but it's just a great company, they're kind people they've been super helpful with me. If i have questions i just reach out to them, the customer service lets me know like you know what questions i have, it's just a really great brand to connect with, but this has just been one of many things. I'Ve done that really has helped my hair to not only stop falling out but to actually start growing back in, and it was kind of crazy. It took me a minute to be like is this growing back in, but you know how i knew that it was working because, usually my hair, i used to get such a bald spot right here. You guys my hair would split. That'S why i wear my hair to the side of it and i do kind of the side bang. I don't know if you guys have noticed that i had to because my hair would split down the middle. I noticed my hair naturally wasn't doing that as much. I was like, i think, it's growing back and then i looked and it wasn't as thin or as bald right there. So i was like yes, i think it's working, so i was super excited, so definitely check them out. You guys you can get their products on amazon as well, but definitely if you want to go to their site directly, they're just super kind. Customer service is amazing. So there's that and then i was going to show you all too now if you are self-conscious like i have been, i get it i'm in those shoes. I feel you it's heartbreaking to lose your hair, but the easiest and cheapest and quickest thing that you can do to hide any like balding or thinning spots on the top of the head is to use a cover-up spray and i've used this for use. You can tell it's like look, it's almost empty, you guys, i i must have gone through 20 bottles of this. I use this all the time even to this day, even though i don't really need it anymore. I still do because it makes my hair look so thick, so it's the l'oreal magic root cover up and i get the dark brown they have different, colors and stuff. Let me find a spot. I can show you there. We go okay, so say this is showing and you're like. Oh, it looks a little thin. I want to cover it up. You literally just shake it, and just right now like now, look look how thick my hair looks easy. You guys and it takes two seconds and i live in houston - it's humid all the time. It rains a lot. It does not drip down, i mean unless i'm getting drenched or something, but if it's just kind of drizzly out it's it's not going to leak down. My face and look funky or anything like that, it stays put pretty well it's inexpensive, you can get it most drugstores target and all of that, so this is definitely one thing that is inexpensive. You can do to really help boost your confidence with your your hair and just make it feel like it's a lot thicker. The last thing that i like to do is i gently tease the hair that i do have, and i don't know where to get this. I will try to look it up for you guys. Maybe it's on amazon, i'm not sure, but i use this brush. It'S called perfectris. I think it's a boar, bristle brush, but it looks like this. It works so good at teasing my hair, without breaking it or damaging it at all. It'S such a gentle tease. So what i do too to try to like fake fullness is i just take sections, especially at the the back of my hair. I just take it and i gently just do a few things like that and look look like look at that volume. You guys are you serious, and that was only a few teases. It'S such a great brush and then i just kind of brush over it. A little bit to kind of smooth it out, so it doesn't look like i just you know, rolled around in the hay or something had a fun night and rolled out and was like hello at the end of the day you all your hair does not define Your beauty, i'm gon na, say that again, your hair does not define your beauty. Beauty comes in so many variations. You all, and so many things make up your beauty and your hair is not the only one. So i want to tell you right now, like from the bottom of my heart, without me crying and getting emotional. I don't want anyone watching this to think that if you're losing your hair or it's getting your getting thin, please don't ever let it make. You feel that you're, not beautiful so before i lose my voice or cry anymore. I just hope this gives you all some hope on some things that you can try and what has worked for me. I'Ve been on this journey. I will continue to be on this journey for years i'll, keep you guys updated on still what's going on with me um, but so far i feel like i'm in a great place with all these things that i've done in my life over the last several years To just get my hair in a good spot, so anyways, i hope you guys are doing great, staying happy and healthy. Like always, and i will talk to you soon - bye you

Terry Elisabeth Organizing & Finances: I feel you, sis! It's like losing your "crown" when you lose your hair. I lost my hair twice and mine came back, and abundantly, through the AIP paleo diet. Reducing stress has also been super important for me as it was the culprit for the autoimmune issues I developed which led to one of my symptoms being hair loss. Thanks for sharing your journey! It's great to see your improvement!

Randi D.: I definitely am going to look into enzymes!! I have been losing my hair for ten years and I’m 31 now. I am deficient in multiple vitamins and supplements but it’s still a battle. It took me YEARS to not bawl when I just went for a trim. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and being you! I adore you!

Adalovesmakeup: Thank you for this Marlena. I’ve been a subscriber of yours for over 10 years and have followed you along your hair loss struggle and have been waiting for this video from you. Unfortunately I am experiencing hair loss and have been thinking of doing red light therapy. I will definitely be looking into this company. For all of those ladies out there going through hair loss you’re not alone! ❤️

Sallie Ryder: My hair totally changed after I had my kids! It used to be thick and wavy. Now it’s thin, pin straight and falling out in chunks. I also use root cover ups but it’s not enough. I started wearing toppers but am at the point where I have to start wearing wigs. I also can’t eat anything with gluten because it makes me very sick. I should try to find a holistic doctor that can help me. Thank you for sharing. It means a lot. ❤️❤️

uskitin: I noticed hair loss and bald spots when I was having stomach issues. When I had a small procure on my bile duct (i too had gallbladder removal surgery) I noticed my hair started to grow back. I suspected it was all linked, but my doctors basically laughed at me. I did my own research and found multiple YouTube videos similar to yours that all seemed to say the same thing: gut health = hair health. The less gluten I eat the less my scalp itches. I haven't totally eradicated it from my diet...and I don't eat tons of gluten anyway, but it was noticeable when I made more of an effort. Also, I know two girls who also had gastric bypass surgeries and they lost their hair right after because it affected their nutritional intake. They had some complications years after, so I wonder if that's also linked to your hair health? Have you asked your wholistic doctor if that's a possibility? I'm curious to know if it would be linked.

Danielle P: Thank you so much for this video ❤️ This is why I adore you! I feel like we are girlfriends and just chatting. Im dealing with a lot of these issues and lots of grey hair and it’s been upsetting me to be honest. Im glad I’m not alone and that you aren’t afraid to keep it real. You are always trying to help others and I appreciate that. Have a wonderful New Years! xoxo

Makeup or Breakup Blog: After basically pestering my doctor about my hair loss, turns out blood test revealed vitamin D was low (due to us being more indoors due to pandemic and not exposed to sunlight). Was prescribed D3 and the massive clumping and shedding stopped! Went off it and the hairloss happened again! Went back to doc to get new prescription of it. I took the double dose vax since then and my hair continues to grow and gain volume. I continue to work on a haircare plan by reducing stress and doing things that make me happy and healthy. I continue to eat my veggies and drink water. Slowly incorporating exercise and take melatonin to help me sleep better. I’m also careful with a towel on wet hair and just blot my hair then wrap in a special hair towel to help dry it gently. My hair has stopped breaking and is more manageable. Have patience and listen to your body. Doctors may laugh but you know your body best too.

maryam10: I have the trifecta PCOS,hypothyroidism, and hashimotos .I definitely understand how this affects self esteem. Nutrofol has helped a bit in combo with low carb diet and light therapy. Marlena thank you so much for sharing! I have been following you since the beginning and truly your kindness and heart always shine ✨

andrea c: Thank you for this video. I've lost half of my hair due to menopause. It's hard because I've always had beautiful hair and now it's scary that I might lose all of it.

Victoria Corley: Marlena, you are so beautiful inside and out. Thank you for being so open with us. You are very brave! Way back in the day Makeup Geek got me into beauty. Happy New Year girl!! Can't wait to see what you do in 2022!!

Diana Monroy: Thank you. I'm 26 and have started losing my hair more and more and it really has affected my self esteem. I try to make jokes about it but I sucks and want to find out how to stop it so thank you for this video because it lets me know I'm not alone.

Lydia Krow: I also tested negative for Celiac disease (yay!), but when we tested my stool, my naturopath suggested going gluten-free for three months because the gluten was causing other issues (I'm afraid I can't remember the specifics). Turns out, that was the key to my seemingly uncontrollable inflammation. I had gone through some treatments for SIBO, but we weren't able to crack the other issues until I eliminated gluten. In fact, after about 6-8 months I was able to slowly re-introduced eggs and dairy back into my diet, and had no issues with MOST of it (a few issues with skim milk and soft cheese, so I don't eat those). Thanks for the update on your hair, glad you are finding solutions!

Born_confused: Thank you Marlena for being so honest and brave in telling us about your hair. I'm 43 and since getting my covid shots my hair has started to shed so much. I go into the shower and it just keeps coming out in my hands. I've read that a lot of people are having hair loss side affects from the covid shots. I've started taking vit d and cut down on caffeine, stopped smoking, and cut down on sugar and cut out bread. Hopefully it will all help.

Amber Farr: Marlena, you are such a beautiful person inside and out. I always have felt like such a close friend just because of how open you are and how you talk to us and feel like you genuinely care. You could put up a video about anything and I would watch because I love just hanging out with you!

Ashley Lauren: I have had a lot of stomach issues for many years. I have noticed when my stomach is acting up with IBS etc...my skin appears more dull than normal I break out more my hair looks dull etc...What I have realized with myself is stress and general unhappiness had a huge effect on my stomach health. You forgot to mention one of the biggest things that contributed to healing of your body...your happiness ❤

Lauren Pereira: I have PCOS and had never had the thickest hair but it thinned substantially a few years back. It’s hard to be in your early twenties and go through that. I’ve been doing laser treatments and taking minoxidil and it’s made a huge improvement. In 2022, I really want to focus on my health to hopefully reverse some of my PCOS symptoms. Side note, I add a few drops of rosemary oil to my shampoo and I think that helps too.

Clau B: Girl, you are amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey and to help passing what has work for you, I really appreciate you!!

Vivian Taunton: Wow in reading comments, I too had Covid back in April 2021. Sick for two weeks and stressed. Like clockwork started losing lots of hair in June. Lasted a few months but now finally growing back. It’s typical this happens and as I felt more of a breeze on my head, I was so upset and sad. It really does affect women. This too shall pass and very thankful I made it!

rmk86: I agree, diet is key. Earlier this year my hair was coming out in chunks. I tried expensive shampoos and supplements but nothing worked. The minute I cut sugar and started eating lots of protein, my hair stopped falling out and so many baby hairs came in. It takes time but it will work.

Charlotte Harris: Marlena, I have been watching you for years, and you are truly one of the most unselfish people around. I love that you share all this info in the hope it can help others. You are so genuine in your quest to offer people help and possible remedies for better living and I can definitely say I appreciate it, and I don't think I am alone. As a sidenote, I hate that you have been feeling sad with hairloss, but it has to be said that you would look good with any amount of hair with your beautiful face, fabulous makeup and ongoing smile. I am so pleased you have found answers and are feeling more like yourself and again, thanks for sharing with your community. We love you! All the best for 2022 to you and your family and everyone!

tomato0101: Thank you Marlena!! I would love to see more videos on your diet to help with hair regrowth. I’ve also suffered from hair loss so thank you for sharing this content.

Heather: Marlena, I appreciate this video. I've been experiencing hair loss. I'm 33 and after I had my second child. My hair started to fall out. She's 3 now and I know it isn't postpartum (this didn't happen when I had my son). Same thing, my traditional doctor doesn't know why. I don't know what else to do. I've tried biotin (doesn't work). I still feel at a loss...feel unattractive. Your emotional trigger from this video was hard but so appreciative to share this with us. I teared up right along side you.

Robin H.: Wow, thank you for sharing your tips. I’ve been dealing with hair loss for the past 5 years. It really humbles you. I’ve been adding vitamins to my system etc.

Connie Ruggiero: Thanks for those tips. I’ve struggled with hair loss for years.

stampinprn: Thank you for this video. I have been very sad about my hair loss and this gives me some ideas for things that may help. Thank you also for talking about integrative health. It is so important and many times people do not look beyond traditional doctors for help with their health issues. I am a nurse who is studying to become a functional nutrition counselor.

Irma Cazares: I came down with the delta variant of covid. Was sick in bed for two weeks. Anyway at the three month mark my hair started to fall off. I mean half of a what you'd say a FULL THICK SET OF HAIR. I ended up with only half. It's been horrifying to me because like I said. I used to have a full set of hair. I've been trying hone remedies of rosemary, aloe vera and coffee and it seems to have helped. Thanks for the inspiration you give. God bless you. I've been following you since what about 12 years ago. Before you had your tummy tuck and your divorce. I love who you are. You're real not fake.

Coco Flannel: Marlena, you are such a good person. Thank you for showing your vulnerability and being honest and helping people

Learn and Grow: This journey is so hard! It’s hard to leave the house! Thank you, I️ don’t feel so alone.

Autumn Holcomb: You are literally the sweetest most real person and I appreciate that so much. I feel like you have a honesty and integrity that is rare. Love ya Sis!

Kaitlin Beste: Your hair still looks amazing!! You're just not used to what it used to look like and I know it's so hard to let it go. My hair is completely different and yeah it used to be one of the things I really liked about me so it is really hard

Charlie G: My dr thinks I have androgenetic alopecia, and last month I had cov.. so what hair I had cov took a third of that .. I’m wearing hair toppers now.. I had to do something to regain my confidence ‍♀️ I’m never going to look the same but I can like the way I look now.. sending you love

J: I almost bought this today on Amazon. It’s around $1k. I started taking Dr. Mercola’s Hair, Skin & Nails supplement last week and hoping this will start helping soon. The Root Magic spray is fantastic! I’ve used it for a couple of years but recently, my husband had to use it due to an “oopsie” that happened during a side trim that I was involved in…. He turned his head towards me slightly, which caused the uneven electric razor gash. He’s about as “caveman” as they come and even he appreciated the coverage that root magic offered. LOL You’re smile is so perfect! Please, never consider veneers. Your smile is perfection! Sei bellissima

Dori Lyons: I'm closer to 50 now and notice that my hair is much thinner. (I stock up on that Loreal spray!) The only time I really experienced hair loss was after my daughter was born. It came out in massive clumps. I was terrified. My doctor said it was due to stress and hormones. Eventually, within a year, it grew back. I feel for anyone who is dealing with hair loss, it is very traumatic, but I definitely agree, it does not define beauty

Leah Miranda: Thank you Marlena! I've been experiencing hair loss as well. It was terrible this past summer! I wasn't getting enough calories (I'm guilty of overdoing everything), though my diet is excellent. I started using Hair Restoration Laboratories Hair Restore Shampoo and conditioner. It isn't minoxidil or any other drug that you have to use forever. It has an ingredient that blocks DHT. My hair stopped falling out almost immediately...I just have the normal 50-100 hairs per day loss. As a super plus, the conditioner is excellent! I don't have to use a second conditioner for softness! I have BACKUPS!!!

Tiffany Sollog: Thank you for sharing. So many of us lose hair so many reasons. I’ve been GF since 2006, and it’s helped.

Sarah M: Thank you so much for sharing your story! I have struggled for about 10 yrs w hair loss myself. I appreciate you sharing your story. ❤☺

Sayuriisme: Marlena you are the kindest most lovely person. It is incredible how transparent you have been in order to help others. To me you have always looked Gorgeous, always so well put together. I have followed you for years because of the invaluable information that you share. God bless you and your family throughout the new year

Lena Sheppard: Thank you for doing this! It is a struggle for many. I am so very grateful that you are here keeping us company !

My Shitty Reviews: This last year i’ve lost so much hair I can see my scalp. It’s partly my fault from over coloring my hair, and it’s partly my diet. I am vitamin d deficient as well.

Foxy brown: I'm struggling with stress hair loss, and it stresses me out even more

lizeth101702: Thank you for this video! I can literally reach thru this video and feel the love. I needed this

Rachel Barmash: What is so crazy is after my second covid vaccine which was the 19th of December I had every crazy side effect. And when I washed my hair is was coming out by handfuls and I started crying because that's one thing I had was beautiful thick hair and now my ponytail is like 10 stands of hair. I'm at a loss and dk what to do. What's crazy tho is two days after the second vaccine I had a rash on my arm then my fight hand blew up and was painfully numb for 24 hours then my ankles started swelling then my hair. I never wanted the vaccine but I was catching so much shit I felt forced to. So yeah pretty crazy and where I got the vaccine they told me there's a 1-800 number to call Pfizer and I called him reported all my symptoms and she was like okay if you need anything else they'll let you know and I'm thinking I gave you the vaccine I got the number on the lot and she wasn't able to tell me if any of these things are side effects which in my head I'm thinking they have to be cuz I didn't have this problem before so that's my story

MQS 1: Happy New Year sweetie Thank you for everything you do, your MUG for over 10 yrs !

Beverly Brumbaugh: I had covid the end of August, about a month ago I started losing my hair. I have always had alot of hair, maybe that is a good thing. I have done some research and found that alot of people have had hair loss after getting covid. I am hoping that it will run its course and be done soon. Thank you for your video.

Lisa Jay: I’ve always had very thick hair (like my mother) but now that I’m in my 50’s the crown of my head has gotten so thin. Especially my bangs. My mother also has very thin crown. I guess it is hereditary. Is there anything to help with this issue? It has caused me to feel like I’ve lost a big part of who I am.

Michelle Rhodes: I have lost SO much hair in the last several years, it's ridiculous. I'm actually going to have my daughter cut it short (she's not a pro but has an amazing natural talent with hair). It's hard for me to find any touch up sprays or toppers that match my natural red hair. Which really sucks. I use a Nioxin shampoo and conditioner and I don't wash it daily but even doing that, I have a handful that comes out when I do wash it. My forehead is like a six-head and wearing it in a ponytail or bun absolutely doesn't make the loss any better. So I decided it's coming off and hopefully I can use some tips and products to make it look fuller (I do have that Generic volumizer you recommended before). I'm hoping I don't regret cutting it off but I can't stand it right now. Maybe I'll see if hubby will get me the iRestore helmet. Cause idk what else I can do being I either have to go with a full wig or nothing because of my natural red color. I've cleaned up my diet but probably not enough to do anything.

Ahad Abdel Moneim: Hey Marlena, glad you have found a solution! Much love. Try hair plasma treatments PRP as well those help alot!

Diana Zahela Zapata García: Congratulaciones y que buenas noticias! Felicidades y espero lo mejor para todas ustedes mujeres bellas de este canal! Dios las continúe bendiciendo!

TT: Thank you for this... I'm 47 and post menopausal and have lost so much hair over the last year... hormones are not helping. Onto the next.

MrzBadaBing: Omg girl when I lost weight at 18 I lost about 30 lbs but I lost so much hair I used to have coke bottle thick hair and it was so thin you could see my scalp . It did grow back eventually but not as thick and I gained weight I’m 33 now and been struggling with my weight ever since I finally lost 50 lbs but I’m losing so much of my hair again but mostly on my front right side of my head it’s sooo thin I already seen doctors and there’s nothing it’s so frustrating. I’m going to try to see a natural doctor because there has to be something triggering this hair loss. It’s depressing I mean my hair looks thick cause it’s long but when I grab my hair y’all it’s like a string . I really hope my hair gets to the thickness it used to be I tell everyone never complain about your thick hair cause I used to complain when I was little how much I hated my thick hair …

Sarahberra1034: You have beautiful hair!! :) My hair started thinning mostly on my crown so I started using hair growth subliminals. It worked for me just using my mind and now I'm helping my husband grow back his hair and he has entire bald head. So far he has re-activated hundreds of hair follicles. HE has a few million to go, so it's probably going to take over a year to grow back all of his hair just using mind power. I'm wondering if he can have faster results though if we add in all these other things. They say the subconscious mind leads you to certain things to help get the results so perhaps that's why I landed on this video. However, his body alone without any supplements has already been re-growing hair. People are going to think he had a hair transplant but that is not the case.. lol I can't wait to shock our family and friends. The mind is very POWERFUL!! :)

Teresa Large: I really enjoyed watching your channel!! You are so totally awesome, & your hair is so beautiful!! I plan to eventually purchase the light hat!! I loved all your tips!! Most of all, thanks for being "real" & down to earth!!

Elsabe van Rensburg: Thank you for this video. I have been struggling with this. I also went to see a holistic doctor this year that told me the same thing (gluten, diary and sugar cause so much problems). I feel most videos out there is just apply this and drink this and everything will be ok. They don't look for the cause

: Felt this to my core Marlena!! I live in Victoria Texas. If you recommend someone I can see near us I would love to know. I think my hair loss is due to stress because I have also loss weight. But my hair… that hurts me to my core. Ugh. I can’t even type that without crying. I use the same root spray and faithfully buy them. But with my hair so darn thin at the top, I can’t go a day without washing it. I even got extensions but it’s the scalp and around my face where the hair loss is. I’m actually not even sure what I just wrote I’m just typing and now need to wash my face because my glued on lashes are coming off from crying. Thanks! Lol LOVE and RESPECT you dearly! Savanna Gonzales

Jane Huey: I lost my hair twice going through chemo. Excited for it to grow back

Being Biogirl: i used to have the thickest and most beautiful hair, but i’ve had over 40 major surgeries and allllll the anesthesia took such a toll on my hair, and it started falling out in chunks. then i had a complete hysterectomy in my early 30’s and my hair just stopped growing completely. it’s extremely depressing and i cannot count how many times i’ve literally cried myself to sleep because of it. i drink a ton of water, changed my diet to have zero sugar and no gluten whatsoever but nothing’s working. thank you so much for posting this video.

Redhead Detective: Those root cover up’s really need to take into consideration that redheads need that shit too. It’s really frustrating trying to find something other than brown or blonde. Growing up, I hated my color, and just wanted to blend in. It took till my mid 30’s to appreciate what i was born with, and I’ve had issues with it falling out for the past few years. Even getting extensions is difficult because you have to buy either blonde or brunette and color them to match the color my hair naturally is. It’s not easy to do that. I’ve even considered buying a wig, but again, there really aren’t any wigs that match my natural color.

T In TENNESSEE: Can I just say I adore you. You are so honest and stayed so true to who you are. Your one of 3 YouTubers I followed a long time ago and out of all of the ones since you are the only one I still so.

Courtney Marie: Happy New Years everyone! I couldn’t imagine how difficult it is to have hair loss as a woman.

Pony Rxjx: What works for me is using minoxidil, it takes about 5 or 6 months to see a difference but it works, my hair is growing back and I'm not losing it as much as before

Amanda Harmon: It’s amazing how much diet affects things.

jaimeh761: I was diagnosed with environmental. alopecia. So my hair has receded from my forehead. My 3 head turned into a 5+ head. 3 dermatologists gave me the same diagnosis and all of them prescribed clobetasol which is a strong topical medicine. It wont bring it back but is supposed to stop it. I dont see much difference. Funny I started moving my Dr Dennis Gross led mask up to my hairline. Ill be interested to see if it does anything. I tried bangs to hide my receding hairline but i hate having hair in my face. It sucks because since its my hairline, sprays and stuff don't work as camoflage for me.

emyF: I'm going through this now.. Seriously it's getting both annoying n depressing.. It has thinned out so much on the frontal of my head.. I'm taking iron n vitamins now but it's been a bit less than a month since I started

Abby Normal: I have been subscribed for years. Thanks for the update on your hair . That is awesome.

Rihana: I bought my irestore laser last year - I love it!!! Marlena — I have been looking for a trustworthy, non-judgmental and kind integrative / functional medicine doctor and I haven’t had any luck - I’m even willing to travel and see one virtually - I know you’ve suggest the Woodlands wellness center in Texas - any other suggestions for good doctors that actually listen to you and treat you like a human being?!?

Snudder. s.m.l.: Happy new year to you and your family and fur baby's. Big hugs from Stine from Denmark

catmama54: Can you mention the brand if the enzymes. I’m so sick of them giving me meds. I’m giving up the same things gluten dairy sugar and follow low fat diet.My GB was removed a few years ago and I’m still suffering with similar issues. Hair looks fabulous

magdelin almonte: That's exactly my problem . I'll try the Loreal hack . I'm already taking vitamins

Kaitlin Beste: Omg I am sufffferrrinng!!!!!!! I got Covid and yes Charlie it does make your hair fall out but I suffered another cat loss and I lost my hair and then gin when I took my extensions out. Which I miss but mechanically can't handle

Brenda Quintana: Thank you for this video ❤️ I’m going to have to start saving my coins to get the helmet.

Becky Roberts: Could you maybe do a video on quality wigs and things like that? I have a scarring hair loss condition and I know that at some point I will need a wig. It is devastating as you said. I'm only 39. I just want to know what options will be out there for me when that time comes. There are treatments for this condition but, they aren't guaranteed and some of them come with heavy side effects. I'm trying to treat as naturally as I can. Dermatologist in my area have been zero help.

reallychris: Sis you are absolutely stunning!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️

chubbsy10: Do you color your own hair? If so, what color do you use? It’s gorgeous

Tammy Martin: I have alopecia from several autoimmune diseases that I have and the meds I have to take for them. My mom got me a powder from Avon but it says THE FACE SHOP on the bottom of the bottle. It's a root touch up that comes out of a puff that makes my hair feel less sticky than the L'oreal one. I'm about to get a topper too. I'm tired of the constant worry. Every time I wash my hair I cry.

dionne king: I can't believe some one on your level.of beauty strtuggles with hair loss I needed this video thank you

Sabrina Miller: Hey beautiful. Miss ya from MA yvy a srs ago in class in Houston Texas. CA. I send you some suggestions to try? TheMellowgirl: so glad you have found some relief

Annie Mendez: I love you for being real.

Sleeping Gypsy: Stress can cause hair loss, as well...

MalenkyGoblin: Have you tried Platelet-rich plasma therapy? Basically the doctor draws your own blood, extracts the plasma from it, and injects it into your scalp which can promote healing including for androgenic alopecia.

MissArtisticSasnuhy: Hi Marlena thanks for the video! Where can I get that perfectress hair brush from

michelle C: Thank you for this..

Amelia Aranda: Hello, just saw your video and I have struggled also for years unfortunately. It's a definite blow to self-esteem but I try to ignore and not affect me.
