I did 6 years service and resigned shortly after 9/11.

It got almost like over 150 to 200, something comments. So let me know in the comments below how much do you pay for your haircut and also, if you want to add in where do you live, because i kind of may piece a piece of together. Are you paying in rupees? Is it pounds pesos whatever it is euro? Let me know in the comments below and i love to see what you are paying for your haircut, so just in general, when it comes to paying for a haircut. I'Ve noticed in my experience that the more you pay right, usually the better the service, the more of an upscale type of environment you're going to you know, instead of maybe paying 10 15 for a 15 minute haircut, maybe you're paying 40 or 45 or 100 or 200 and you're getting maybe 45 minutes to an hour, you're, getting a beautiful scout massage. When you get your hair washed, you know uh you're, getting a glass of wine you're. Getting i mean, there's all different levels of the experience and usually the higher the price. The more of those little perks it comes with now. Does that mean that the more you pay for something the better the person is going to be, i would say: there's like an 80 chance. Yes, okay, 80. Chance. There'S still that 20 chance that you could literally pay someone say a thousand dollars, for example, for a haircut and it could be the worst haircut you've ever had in your life. Then again, you may pay 10 or 15 for a haircut and it's the best haircut you've ever had in your life. So really what it comes down to is the person cutting your hair right. They may be under charging, they may be overcharging, you know, but i really would love to know. How much are you paying for your haircut? Where are you from? Kevin Forest: In Sweden, when I went to my previous stylist and hair salon I paid around $55, my friends definitely teased me about it since they pay like $10 for theirs (you can definitely see that theirs are $10 though). I now go to an even better salon that has a similar price point but I get a discount due to my new stylist being family, so now it's like $25.
clare wagner: I like your question but as a stylist I think it invites too much negativity. I've worked at different salons and to me by and far stylists are under charging so much at the end of the day we barely make a profit to feed ourselves let alone pay for our time and knowledge. All stylists should take more classes, gain more knowledge and experience and respect ourselves enough to charge our worth and in turn we would probably be respected more ourselves and our industry more than just being money grubbing stylists that mess up hair.
Mattias Åkemalm: In Sweden, I pay about $40 plus for a "longer" haircut (an undercut) at the more modern barbershop. But at another barbershop in town, where the barber always gives me a shorter haircut (a flattop) I pay about $30. On both occasions, the professional spends 25 minutes on the client, but the more inexpensive one is the perfectionist.
Gonzalo Vagabculow: I live in Argentina. I found a barber who cuts my hair at my home. He charges me U$1.88 for the haircut, beard and eyebrow shape up.
Yoonki: In New Zealand for me $27 for just a haircut by a hairdresser, I'm happy to go up to $50 (especially if the hairdresser has really good credentials/worked on models) Pass the $40 mark you're most likely gonna be getting a hair wash and shampoo anyway alongside your cut
burritosarelife7483: 18 dollars for a cut. I go every 3 weeks. I live in Texas and near the border. Sometimes I go to mexico for a haircut and it costs about 100 pesos which is like 5 dollars.

drkmgic: We charge by the hour in my salon so it doesn't matter the gender. So $60 Canadian an hour.

Christina Morris: Before covid it was $18 for a haircut now it's 24$ but I like to give at least a $10 tip.... If I could I would give more . I got the haircut I've been wanting to get I think it's been about a month now all one length a short bob I'm happy with it the stylist was nice she gave me exactly what I wanted I'm satisfied with it . I've just had too many bad experiences with Great Clips even when I took my son there a couple days ago to get his fade it wasn't boxed in and the front hairline was crooked not straight across and I even provided a picture smh his haircut was $18 with $5 tip I did have to come home and kind of straighten his front up myself.

thegirlfromthepsychward: im a barber, i charge $30 for majority of my mens cuts. fades and everything included. anything past the sholders is $55. we do hot towels and neck shaves on all haircuts, in and out in 30 min :))) im from british columbia canada!
Jumana Almosawi: I’m from the middle east and I the last time I went for a cut I payed 80 in US dollars but honestly I used to go to a saloon before that one and I payed 22 US dollars or so and in my opinion the more expensive one was not worth it her techniques made me worried but I couldn’t change options and it happened ♀️♀️. Another fact is that guys in here they literally pay from 9 to 15 dollars on a regular barber shop and they get to shave their beards or trim or whatever and get a cut and some other good stuff like maybe blow dry or styling for that same price. But of course there are the high end saloons that are more pricey.

Somebody: Here in the Philippines, I paid 70 pesos for a trim which is just a bit over a dollar. I have a mullet and got it cleaned up and they charged me that much for such a good cut and they charge for even lower for shorter hair lengths, a fade would probably cost a dollar at most.

rjmari: San Franciso Bay Area. The cheaper (but still decent) haircuts are maybe $15-20 these days. My last few cuts, I've been spending $45-55 range to get better cuts. And I can honestly say they are worth the upgrade. I usually have a short-medium haircut for a guy, with something around 4" or 5" at the front.
VlRGINIZER: In the Philippines, we pay 50-100 pesos which is about 1-2 dollars. 100 pesos is too much for me though lol

Freddy Jose Regino Montalvo: Here in Colombia, in the region where I live the lower price for a hair cut is: 7000 pesos. ( 1.66 dollars according to Google). I live in a poor and rural region, so I really don't know how much is the lower price for a hair cut in a formal barbershop. It depends of the kind of hair cut that you are looking for and the prestige of the barbershop.
