Hi everyone. Thank you so much for joining me today. You know I love to. I love my HD fibers and I have all kinds of tools, but I just purchased this one at wig studio. One and I've been playing with it because I wanted to show you. I am thrilled with this tool. This is the cool flow, dual styler. You use this to you, use this tool to straighten your HD fibers and to curl them. Well, we may have. I know I've got a a curling iron and I've got a flat iron, but with a curling iron, for example, when we curl we have to hold those curls, we have to let the fibers cool, because heat friendly fibers aren't like our human hair. They have to. In order for them to take the form, the fibers have to cool this tool cools. At the same time, therefore, you don't have to wait until that curl cools down for it to maintain its form. I think it is amazing what you did. I tell you this. I purchased it at wig studio one as well as the wigs that I'm going to show you right now, I'm wearing Alpha blend from beltress in the color brown sugar sweet cream. If you are familiar with Alpha blend, it is it. It comes in with uh turned inside. I prefer it's stick straight and I straightened it with this tool. So what you have here is the ceramic tourmaline and you have the plates in the middle and the ends are rounded and you have vents on it, which will provide the cooling you have the readout you have where to turn on and off the fan and the Setting for for the temperature, the temperature on this tool is 280 to 430 degrees. It goes in increments if you can see it on. Where is it right here? So you you can't go from 280 to 290, for example, you go from 280 directly to 320, and so on. Those are the temperatures that you can use. Now I have to make this disclaimer and I want to be perfectly honest with you with John Renault. The recommendation is, according to John Renault, to use temperature no higher than 270 and 280.. Have I used higher? Yes, I have, but I go little by little. So in this case I would start out with 280, for example, because that's the lowest temperature that it would go and work very quickly and when I say work quickly, I mean don't hold the don't hold the hot tool in one spot for longer than three seconds. Just keep it moving whether you're, curling or you're, straightening Ellen Villa states to not to use over 260.. That is what their recommendation. Personally, I have used tire than 260 on my Ellen Villas again working very quickly and with and always dampening it I use water. You can use a heat protectant. I think water works just as well. I don't think there's any need for a heat protectant with Ellen Villa. It is important to dampen the fibers before you, uh apply any heat to it. Well, dress, Raquel, Welch and tresso. Lore says you can use up to 320 degrees. Remember that these are basically plastic, so you want to make sure that you are working quickly and, and you keep that um you keep that hot tool moving. I think this tool is the best tool that I have used and I have expensive tools that I've purchased. I have the flat irons and the curling irons, but I love this one, because when I curl it maintains it now, the first time that I tried it. It didn't work it, no, it didn't work at all. I had to practice I practiced over and over again until I got it right. The main thing with this tool is that when you start you have to turn it 180 degrees. So there is uh a placement here for your thumb, so you place your thumb there and then, if you're going to curl, you got to move it 180 degrees. So if you start here, you got ta end up there. So, as you move it, you start letting it go. You start releasing from from the fibers and the curl will stay. It took me about three or four times until I got how to do it and I'm going to show you by the way. I don't. I don't think I told you I will leave um time stamps listed Down Below in the description box. So if you don't want to see, if you want to see just straightening or you just want to see curling or you want to refer back to it, I will leave all all of the time stamps down below, because I'm sure this video is going to be A little long, okay, this wig that I have here is unfiltered this unfiltered by Raquel Welch. I purchased it in 2019.. As you can see, I started curling it. This is uh the best ones that I have achieved, and I think it turned out very well. Some of the things to keep in mind when you're using the hot tool place it on your wig stand, make sure you secure it with your t-pins at the ear tabs and on the nape divide, the hair into sections, the smaller the section. The tighter your curl is going to be always start with your bottom and then work your way to the Top. If you want a looser curl, for example, beachy waves, you can take a larger section. If you want a curl like this, a tighter curl, a more defined curl, you want to take a smaller section for the loose curl. You don't need to you, don't you don't need to dampen as much and you don't need to use the fan for a tighter curl. You want to make sure that the hair is damp and you want to make sure that you use the fan and I'm not going to do the entire wig, because all I really want to do is give you a demonstration on how this on how this works. So I'm I'm taking the hair out of the way I'm taking a small section. I make sure there are no Tangles on it, I'm going to take it and I'm going to spray it, because I want a tighter curl, I'm going to turn it on, which is the butt the button, not the bottom, I'm just going to hold it there for A moment and it's going to turn on with the same bottom button, I'm going to adjust the temperature, so I'm going to bring it down to 320 and the fam is going to come on so now remember we want to 180 degrees. So if I start with my thumb facing me, I'm going to turn it and I'm going to continue turning it 180 degrees as I'm pulling it down. And now I have my curl I'm going to take that small section. My thumb is facing out. I'M going to move it and, as I'm I'm rotating it, I'm pulling it down until my thumb is facing me and I let it go and there's the curl it's just a matter of playing with it. You know practicing basically so now I'm going to take another small section, I'm going to spray with some water. My thumb is facing out and now I'm going to rotate keep rotating until my thumb is facing me and let it go, and if you find that the end is a little straighter than you want it to. You could just do that little that end and do the same thing and I'll I'll curl up. You might have to turn it, but you don't have to hold it. You don't have to pin it. You don't have to let it cool, because it's cooling at the same time. That'S all you need to do for the curls. Now the curls are done. Usually, when we use a curling iron, we want to let that cool and we we can't touch it because otherwise the the curls haven't set, but because the schools at the same time now, if we want to loosen them up, we can loosen them up. We can leave them curly, we could add some more curls all depends on what you want to do, but that's that's really it that's all you have to do to get those those curls. I think it is amazing all right, let's try uh how to straighten one. I haven't I've only straightened this I'm going to get my delgona 16 and Ice lavender latte and we're going I'm going to show you how we're going to straighten that it's easier to straighten. This requires a little bit more practice, but it's just practice. The most important thing once again is just turning it 180 degrees and letting it go. That'S all there is to it, starting at the top and then just rotating 180 degrees as you're letting go, and that's how it's going to make the curl all right. Let me go and get my delgona 16. make always make sure when you are securing your wig that you're, not if you have a mono top, for example, you're not at the t-pin, doesn't go through your mono top that it doesn't go through your lace front. Always on the ear tab on the a nape any place where there is a Velcro or a seam, so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to make certain. There are no Tangles. This delgona 16 is about. I want to say it's about a year and a half or two years old. I I purchased it when I was first released, but it's already I've worn it lots and lots. So I'm okay with now straightening it and I could always curl it back. I could add some waves if I want to so once I have all the tangles out, I'm going to divide it into sections and I'm going to start with the bottom layers now with when, when you want to straighten, I feel that it works the best when You add some water first and again taking small sections, and you know you could pin it back if that works a little bit better for you, so you don't have all the all the fibers in your face. Well, we need to be really careful with straightening. It is not to hold the hot tool in its place for a long period of time once you set it to the temperature. The fan will come on. If you want to turn the fan off, you just have to hit the the little fan button. We'Re going to use the three second rule so three seconds on. We don't want to leave it on more than three seconds, but it's okay. If we could, if we do it a few times, that's fine just to get it as straight as you want it this. This part right here is plastic, so you can hold it on there. There seems to be a bit of a division. So if I want a nice tight grip, I'm just going to hold it right there right um, so I'm going to go over it another time and there it is nice and straight okay. So, as you can see it's already now, I could just go all around and if I wanted to curl um this delgona, then I'm going to do the same thing as I was doing with the unfiltered. I could just add some water, take a small section thumb facing out twirl towards me and continue twirling down and there's the curl start away from from me and now I'm going to as I'm rotating I'm pulling it down. Until I get my thumb towards me, and you could do it with a you - could have a curl all the way to the end or like, as I did, this one would just the curl and then the straight at the bottom. It'S entirely up to you on how you want to do it, so I think I'm going to finish straightening out my delgona 16., so you can see the curls just stay right there. We could, we could style them right away. We don't have to wait. I think it is a great tool. Most important, don't forget, don't get discouraged, it just takes a little bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, you remember to do that 180 degree turn it's very, very simple and keep that hot tool moving. Let me know if this video was helpful and informative. Let me know if you have the cool flow dual Styler. Let me know what you think. I would love to hear from you.
