Easy Gel Wash And Go For Curly & Wavy Hair + Glueless Bob Wig Install

Hi everyone - i have a closure wig today and i'm going to show you how to quickly install it, define the curls, prevent the gel from being crunchy and flaky and get lasting definition, and this video is sponsored by love me hair. They sent me a 14 inch short curly lace, closure wig with one of those silicone wig grip bands. This is the hair, it has a cute little storage bag, and this is the silicon wig grip band. It is stretchy with a textured surface to grip, there's also a user guide with all of the information you need and a comb which actually works well for picking hair. So inside this little white pouch. I have these super long lashes. I also have a nice scrunchie. Some hoop earrings some kind of mount. I initially thought it was a brooch and then i saw the sticker. I love press-on nails, but this is definitely not my style now. Let me get back to what you guys came here, for this wig has a sliding elastic band, which means no hooks to snag your hair in the back, and i love using it to secure my wig onto the mannequin head. Nothing works better in the back of the wig, there is a comb, a comfort tab and adjustable straps. Of course i have my elastic band close to my ears and combs near the temple areas in the center back of the horseshoe. I have another comb: cutting the lace was easy. They already put a middle part in there. So that's one less thing i have to do now. All i have to do is wash the hair and do a gel wash and go. Four sections are ideal for this process: the hair isn't too thick, so i can keep the sections to a minimum and get the job done fast. After sectioning off i'm going to use my superstar high definition gel by trey lux. I love it on straight and looser textures, it's a bit difficult to see, but just a small amount less than a teaspoon of product is more than enough per section. I want to rub and spread it in my palms, so i can have an even application and it looks kind of frothy which is perfect. Now i can apply with confidence and i'm making sure i get all the strands doing this on wet hair and evenly distributing the product helps prevent flaking, and it also ensures that you get an even curl definition. This is something i enjoy taking my time with, so that i have no mist spots after application. I brush it out, and this is a detangling brush. A curl. Defining paddle brush would be better at this, but all i'm doing is going slow so that the curls can bounce back for a flawless wash and go. Look. Let'S do another section of hair. Rub rub rub, rub rub rub like you mean it and apply the gel evenly. You have to take your time with this. Let it marinate, no clumps left behind really get in there evenly distribute the product for 30 seconds to a minute. You really want these curls. Now get the brush and brush it out when detangling you want to glide when defining you want to apply pressure and smooth and turn so that the curls can come out of hiding very nice. Now, back to the first section, i clamp it with my fingers and slide down all the excess water and product will come out and now i don't have to worry about drying times or product buildup. One simple move and all of my problems are solved and you can use the leftover product on the next section that you work on. If you want to avoid being wasteful - and we repeat the process two more times to wrap things up, i'll use my brush to do some general curl definition around my wig, so that these curls can really pop - and all i have to do - is allow the hair To dry, my wig head will have your hair dry in under 30 minutes and i'll link it down below. You can allow the hair to air dry or use a diffuser if you're wearing it, while defining the curls. There are so many options, so i specifically asked to try the silicone wig grip band. I'Ve seen them for years, but never went there. Let me put on this crunchy wig, get it nice and secure, then section it off to break the cast. The same four sections should be fine and i should have probably deepened the part, but here we go, the hair is shiny, so i don't need any oil messing up a good thing and all i'm doing is sliding down to break the cast. Botanical gels like aloe okra flaxseed, those are ideal for this type of job because they freeze the curls in place, but the cast breaks beautifully, like your curls, just magically form like that, and this one is an aloe based gel. They are also good for roller sets, especially for people who don't like using too much product in their hair. It'S easy to break the cast, maintain the curl structure and keep the curls for several days even up to a week and separating is very easy, but that has more to do with me properly detangling, the hair beforehand than it has to do with the gel. So here are the curls that i released there's a bit more volume on the side that i worked on and i'm moving to the other side to wrap this up. I'M not even taking my time or trying to be careful, because i know the curls won't be disturbed. This gel set the perfect foundation and i literally cannot mess things up. Even if i wanted to this is why it's important to use the product that works best on whatever hair you're working with you literally have plenty room for error, and all you have to do is just stretch and release and get juicy curls now it's time. For me to fix the part area, because the band is so light, i'm going to have to pack lots of powder in but next time i'm putting it under my dark wig cap so that i can work faster, i'm halfway there. In years, i used to buy them as part of a 10 piece comb kit, but that's not important. Just look at how the hair looks.
