Ready To Ship Wigs Are Too Much | Entrepreneur Episode 2

Hey you guys it's ebony and this is entrepreneur, episode two listen. This was supposed to be episode, five or six, but episodes two three and four. I cannot even tell y'all what happened to that footage. I don't even remember what i recorded about, but that's cool. I realize you guys really love the entrepreneur episode, so this is just going to be another one that i am creating. So in this episode. Basically, i decided that i'm going to do a restock on may 1st and um. I need. I need to work okay. So it's going to be a ready to ship wig restock, even though it's not going to be ready to ship because i'm going to be on vacation. So i'm going to be okay, i didn't tell jayden so next weekend. I am leaving to go on a trip for my birthday, but i wanted to launch ready to ship. Wigs may 1st. I think i have over 40 weeks and i have not started on any of them. I maybe bleach the knots on four of them, but it's a lot of work to do so. I figured it would be nice to record the entire process and how i prepare the ready to ship weeks um and also like how well i end up doing how i'm promoting it this thing. Third, so i figure: let's go ahead and um, let's go ahead and do a business vlog or what am i calling it? A business, a business, a business blog? That'S not what i'm calling it a boss business episode, entrepreneur episode, entrepreneur episode, so i literally just got in the house off in the chimney some food, but once i'm done with it, we gon na get to working. Okay, i've been to it and we're gon na talk about how you start modifying it is so dark in here it is so dark, but anyways you guys. As you can see, i work from home. As you guys know, i work from home, so um i had to clean up okay because it was a mess. I had to clean up and sanitize everything, but now i'm going to what i want to do is just get. These boxes put the boxes. My custom boxes together and have them put it because i'm gon na need them for the weeds, because once i make the wigs, i'm gon na put them in the custom boxes. So i just wanted to clean off this so that i would have somewhere to fold the boxes and put them together on um here's the boxes, so they came delivered like this basically already coming apart. Two big boxes: um yeah, just two big boxes, so i am going to be pulling them from out of there and folding them. I will say with my custom: well i'm gon na fold one up and show y'all what it looked like and then give you like. My honest review on the box wait uh, i'm going on a vacation. I already told y'all that but um they keep changing the um, the travel, the travel stuff y'all as far as the restrictions and stuff. So that's what i just got um a text about all right. I put quite a bit on the table. So, let's put one together. So the thing about these boxes is y'all. I waited till the very last minute, so i had to expedite these. So these are my bigger boxes for four weeks i had to expedite it, but because i expedited them they had to get printed out at a different facility and that facility had to slightly change the color of my box. So this isn't the original color that i wanted it to be. The lighting in here isn't that well so y'all not even seeing the real color of this box, but i wanted it to be just a subtle, pink color, a light light pink color, and then i wanted my boxes um. I wanted my logo to be white, so the design is very cute, but when i thought about when i thought about my packaging, i was really thinking like luxury. When i look at my chanel box, when i look at my gucci box or whatever like the quality, is there and i realized what i did wrong was i didn't want a miller box miller box are going to be like cardboard material. I want something. That'S nice and smooth and fine so going forward. I know when i order custom boxes. It'S not going to be a mailer box, it's going to have to be maybe a product box or i don't know i'm going to have to figure out. Maybe it's a particular type of cardboard, a particular type of gloss or print. I don't know i'm going to have to figure that out, but these will do for the time being i mean i don't hate them. I like them, but i just know what i pictured in my mind: okay, so um yeah, so y'all, basically just about to watch me put together a hundred boxes, so i ordered did i order a hundred. Let me see y'all all right. I ordered 250 of these 250 of these boxes and then i ordered 100 of the bundle boxes. So that's what i did take it away. Take it away feeling too good to me chilling all day. All in your space is yay you're. The reason i'm going out all right guys, so i only packed all of the boxes that was in the first big old box um. I didn't get to the second one because to be completely honest i don't know if i have enough room for these, i got ta be able to put all of those up first and then i'll be able to figure things out now i will say this: it Was only 85, these are only 85 boxes and, like i told y'all it's supposed to be 250, it would have made sense to put 125 in one box 125 in the other, but this is only 85., so um i'm keep my fingers crossed that all of the Boxes are here, so i don't have to call nobody and complain, and this and the third, so i'm gon na keep my fingers crossed. But what i want to work on now. I'M gon na put these up in a back closet, but what i want to start working on now is the actual ready to ship wigs. I have a lot of wigs, i only i only maybe touched less than 10 of them and it's a lot of wigs. All that i crave when you're away nights are sleepless, do we need space yeah, maybe you're brave boy, you're, my weakness, giving we take the love that we make it's my favorite drug to caught up in your love asking for help, but nothing seems to work on You yeah, you always make me feel like okay, you got. I just can't stop thinking about you. I just can't stop thinking about you. I just can't the birds are chirping. You hear me: the birds are chirping y'all, i'm still working, i feel like if he views slave. Like a hebrew, i'm tired, i'm hot, i'm still bleaching knocks it's gon na be a long night, but the goal is to bleach all of the nights and to start styling the wigs, that's already dragged so um. Let me bring y'all over here. Let me push pause on this class while i work while i'm working um, i'm listening to classes that i have purchased, i'm just re-listening to stuff um, because y'all know how it is. You buy online course class or ebook, and you never really read it. When you're supposed to read it - or you never complete the entire course like you're supposed to so as i'm working, i'm just being mindful of of that and um listening to all of that good stuff. So i have a couple weeks in the sink. These were just bleach. You can still see some bleach on it, so i'm about to go ahead and start shampooing. This i'm shampooing all of that bleach out toning. The knots look at that sown in the knots and everything um. These are the two 26 inch wigs. I only have two of them: that's 26 inch and they're, currently being bleached and um. I have one more batch. I think these are the 16 inch wigs look at the spots 16 inch, so i got one more batch that i need to bleach um. Looking at the time, it is 8 25, so i'm thinking 10 o'clock, but hopefully before 10 o'clock before 10 o'clock, i'm done bleaching nights so um yeah keep your fingers crossed for you. Bro and um you'll hear jaden playing that video game and i am thinking about going live tonight because i haven't been live in a while, so just wanted to come and give you guys an update, i'm exhausted, but we trying to make that money honey. We trying to make that money and when you're trying to you know, make money. When you have goals, we have dreams and when you have something you want to accomplish, sometimes you have to sacrifice. So, what's one day, what's one day of sacrifice, okay, it's probably gon na take me three days at the most, but what's three days of working for the entire month when it comes to ready to ship weeks, what's three days out of thirty, you know, so it Is what it is um just wanted to give y'all an update, and i will see y'all when i'm ready to go live okay, um! Finally, i'm back! I'M sorry, i told you i'll be done by 10. You know i beat my record, but i'm tired, i'm about to get on live and the wigs are out here trying. I know you guys can barely see them but they're out here drying, so i should be able to work on those tomorrow. I just wanted to come, give an update. I need to transfer all of this information onto my laptop anyways. I am going to go live so hopefully i save the live footage, so you guys will be able to see it, but it's not. I will see y'all tomorrow, hello, my friends, i'm not gon na lie. I almost forgot about you um, because it is almost 6 p.m on sunday, okay, but luckily i just really started working, maybe um 30 45 minutes ago. So i haven't done much today today. Kind of been a chill day and when he got my nails done, i got some food like i just been chilling and i finally got up and decided to start working, so you guys really haven't missed out on much um. I brought all of the wigs in because they are dry. I recently defined two wigs, the diamond units, so they are out there air drying. They look dry, though, if i can be completely honest and um, as you can see, you cannot see you cannot see. I am currently curling up this unit. I actually was supposed to be straightening this one, but when you wash the straight units and the body wave units they look the same. I was supposed to silk press the straight one curl, the body wave one, but i ended up curling, the straight one, but the curls were coming out so cute. Usually my curls are so messy and yeah. I just it is what it is. They'Re both gon na get curled, so i'm just chilling, i'm looking at youtube videos. I recently created a facebook group, so it's called. Let me show you guys: it's called luxury for brown girls and i will be sure to leave the link in the description box for anybody who wants to join it's. Basically, a group for normalizing luxury for brown, skin girls or woman. Whoever identifies as a brown skin woman can definitely join the group now the thing about it was long story short. I was in a group just like this. I absolutely loved it. It was helping me really feel like. I was truly deserving of luxury like being in that group. That'S how i felt i felt like this is normal, i'm around a whole bunch of women who feel the same way. They want to do good for themselves. They are doing good for themselves. They buy themselves. Nice things i was loving, the energy of the group and everything woke up this morning, tried to search the group and realized. I was blocked, made a post about it on facebook realized. Some of my other facebook friends were blocked. Some of them had never even posted. In a group and we're blocked, so i just didn't like that and it it really hurt my heart a little bit, because i really truly enjoyed that facebook group. But you know what i was like ain't. Nobody got time for that. I can create my own group - and i did i created this group maybe an hour ago and we almost got 600 members almost got 600 members, but we need that other group anyways. They can keep that negativity over there that hidden negativity can stay in that group. So that's what i'm doing watching youtube videos interacting in my facebook group and working, so i'm just gon na. Let you guys see the process, i'm trading so loud playing that video game actually now that i'm looking at the time, i'm about to make that, like his last night i'll, let him get off at 10 o'clock but anyways you guys um i've been chilling. I ain't even gon na lie. I didn't chilling um the two curly wigs: they dry, they air dry outside um and then the one week. That'S curled. I let her kind of sit, i'm so sorry about the lighting. I let her kind of sit outside so that she can chill and basically what i'm doing now is i'm trying to get this section over here where i'm going to take my photos, i'm trying to get this area set up so that i can take photos of These wigs and then once i take the photo of the wigs i can put them up in the box and pour them away and then work on the next stitch so really for the rest of the day for the rest of the night. That'S all i want to do. I want to finish curling this week, take photos of the other three wigs um box, those wigs and then tomorrow we gon na just work on a new batch honestly. It depends on the type of mood i'm in right now, i'm not even gon na lie. I have a lot of energy and it kind of came out of nowhere. The energy came out of nowhere y'all, so i'm thinking i might as well just stay up and work. I got energy um. This is my main mannequin here and i don't know about y'all. I don't know if y'all ever tried to put lashes on one of these mannequins, but it's like the lash glue, never works. I use some of my son's glue from school like elmer's glue and i'm waiting on it to dry. I know the white will dry clear and i'm just hoping it's going to keep the lashes on my mannequin. Also you guys can tell my mannequin is scuffed. She is all scuffed up, but there's nothing an editing app on your phone that can smooth out skin cane figs. Okay, so you guys we have a problem. We have a problem so typically all right. So most of my ready to ship, wigs or majority of my ready to shoot wigs are made by the vendor. The vendor typically makes the wigs. The way that i ask them to make the wigs, but something i'm noticing with the curly units, is that they spacing it out way too far apart and it's ridiculous and i'm actually happy well, i'm kind of sad at the same time, but i'm happy i caught It now because lord, if i would have sent this out to my customers, this just would have been a hot mess. Y'All look at this look at how far this is spaced out. This is at least two inches two inches now granted the hair is nice and full and fluffy, but this is ridiculous. I'M going to take a picture of this and send it to my vendor right now because need to know never again. I will never order another wig, at least that's how i need to make them feel. This is ridiculous. I'M just going to take down the curl wig and we're just going to call it a night, i'm happy to curly with you. I meant the straight. The straight units aren't like that, the straight and the body wave units aren't like that. Let me check this one. Look at that, can y'all see the hair. Is nice and full? I hate that it took all day for it to air dry, so i don't know it look like i have bundles, so i have the hair to fill in their own spaces, but it's just more work that i have to do good morning y'all. So it is monday morning it's a little after seven o'clock and i set my intentions for the day. I'M super excited to get so much stuff done today. Basically, i'm up early on my morning walk so yeah um but yeah. I set my intentions every morning. Every morning i wake up and before i get out of bed, i do like a mental to-do list and i just jot down everything i want to accomplish for the day. Well, it's mental! So i ain't like i'm writing one of these people and um. I stick to that. It'S very important to set your intentions for today like being able to envision everything that you're gon na accomplish for the entire day, so, basically everything that i plan on doing for the entire day. I already thought about it. So now i'm just bringing that into existence right because everything starts in the mind and then we have to bring it out. We have to bring it out into the world into real life, so mine was to get up and go walking, go home cook. Jaden breakfast fix me. Some tea take a bath. Do my skincare routine um print out shipping labels get packages ready instantly start working on wigs um, adding more hair to all the wigs yesterday uh they had all the spaces and gaps in it and um, basically working on that all day. So today is gon na be a good day. We'Re gon na get a lot accomplished today and um. I am super excited foreign. We wish we went, we will all right, you guys check it back in. I left the house to get us some lunch and i picked up some packages where packages were delivered to my mailbox today, so i have shipment that i'm going to need to update the website with. I will be working on that as soon as i take a lunch break, of course, as soon as i take a lunch break, of course, i'm, like my whole website, is like sold out like sold out, so we need to put the inventory up there, so we Can make some money? I look how i feel y'all i literally just had to force myself out of bed and um. I guess we can have like a little transparent moment. Oh, it's so cold in here, so i was just starting to feel extremely discouraged um because all the work i did on wigs today and we're on day two. I only have two weeks completed two weeks completed um then i was laying down having my dinner and uh. I had got a notification that i got a review and a customer left me a two-star review and she was just like the hair was horrible and it hurt me to the core like because i know my hair. I wear it um and it just kind of hurt me that someone could say that about my company or about my hair, and i know that um it's because they just don't know how to take care of the hair they don't. The hair in question is the mongolian afro kinky curly literally is afro kinky curly, it's like whatever you would do to type for hair. That'S what you do to that hair, but a lot of people get that hair and they think that they can treat it like straight hair like they can go to sleep on it and without wrapping their hair up. They can wet it without detangling it. While it's wet and just lay down and just get rough with it, and they can't they're supposed to treat it just like natural type for hair and people don't and because they don't, then they want to say like i was tangling all this is that in the Third - and it just hurts my heart - it just hurts my heart: they don't know how to use it, um and it just put me in a bad hair space like i literally just wanted to cry like it. Sometimes it's so frustrating because people just don't understand like i don't know, i just get so frustrated and i just like i want to give up like i'm tired, like people, don't listen to me like. Maybe i'm not doing enough, like i don't know, but it just gets a bit overwhelming. Sometimes just selling hair, sometimes it just seemed like customers, would never be satisfied. Um and honestly, like it made me, feel so bad i was just like. I don't even want to do nothing today, like i'm just gon na eat some cake, lay down in bed and go to sleep, but i can't do that. I have goals um and i need to sell these wigs and these weeks need to get sold. So it took me about 30 45 minutes to convince myself to get up and get back to work because only two weeks and go get this longer. So that's what i'm doing i got on youtube and i um added stuff to my watch later playlist. So that is what i'm about to do. Oh every time i walk past the mirror. I'D be like look at you girl, you feel the same weight. I know y'all can't see me. I can only see my silhouette every time i walk in the mirror. I feel like look at you anyways. Let me turn this air off, so i feel kind of better. Now it's cold, i'm excited. I got a stock inventory. So that's what i'm gon na do. I am it's 9. 23 right now, i'm gon na stock up this inventory and my goal for tonight is to do all of the deep weight. Wigs just get all the deep wave, wigs out the way make sure all of them are plugged. Um yeah make sure all of them are plugged and um that way. Tomorrow morning, all i have to do well, i don't have to wait till tomorrow morning i was gon na say. All i have to do is define them and let them air dry, but um. They can air dry overnight. I just can't get enough too caught up in your love. I'Ve been trying asking for help, but nothing y'all, but i'm just so emotional. I don't know if y'all can see it in my eyes i was so emotional and so overwhelmed and then mario texts me and he need a ride. I have to go pick him up and i know me using the energy just to go, pick him up and come back. That'S the time and the last little bit of energy. I had left to even work, so i'm just completely over today. I i need a self-care mental health. Whatever you want to call a day, that's what i need um, but it's gon na have to be a night, not a whole day and tomorrow's a new day, a fresh start i'll, be able to start a new tomorrow, um. So yeah i'm finna just pick up. Mario, come home, clean up the apartment and um. We have tomorrow good morning, y'all, it's the next day. It'S the next day, um it's 11 a.m, and i've been up. Maybe, since six or seven o'clock - and i ain't gon na lie - i woke up feeling kind of in um, but it took a lot out of me to get up. I thought i would feel 100 better this morning. I did but um we gon na push through and we're gon na make the best out of the day right now, um. I am deciding to send out emails to y'all these chairs. If a chair rotates, i'm gon na rotate in the chair like a big old kid but anyways um, because i did do like a restock yesterday, i still got ta put all those bundles up um. I am currently getting emails ready to send out to my customers. So that you know they know it's a restock, you know the people, don't the people don't know unless you let them know so. Oh i love putting um gifs gis. Whatever you guys call them. I love putting those emails, so so yeah, i'm just zooming a little one to a little one too. Thinking about you, yo, okay, i am so sorry and this is so ghetto, but i did not record any more to that entrepreneur episode as a matter of fact, that episode was like may like may 1st may 2nd. I don't know. Oh i got stuff all over. My face, oh, that entrepreneur episode was actually filmed, was actually filmed in may it is like june 7th now and i'm actually sitting down and editing all of the footage for this entrepreneur episode and i'm like. Oh my gosh, i never ended a vlog. I never gave an update or anything, so i am just going to give you guys an update. I am so sorry so, okay um, i ended up feeling better. Okay, things did get better. I worked all the way up until three hours until it was time to go on vacation y'all and we end up missing the flight and everything i will pin on my travel vlog. We went to pune puna kana. Is that how you pronounce it dominican republic? Best trip i've ever been on to date. I will link it up here on the side somewhere, if you guys are interested in travel vlogs, but literally worked like three hours before it was time to leave. Um went to sleep well, i was supposed to take a little nap and then go to sleep on a plane ride, but tell me i missed our flight and everything but um i ended up completing the wigs i um was able to sell. I did not sell out of all of them as soon as they launched, but um. It took maybe two weeks for all of them to sell out, which was completely fine to me. It was a lot of wigs, but i am very happy that i am i'm going to still continue to post this vlog, even though i did not film the entire thing, because it really shows you guys a true reality of what it really is like to be. A business owner in the ups and downs that you go through like it's not always easy. People always show you like. Oh i sold out, i made all of this money, but nobody tells you or shows you like the behind the scenes. So this entrepreneur episode is just all about showing you guys the behind the scenes. What i'm going through, what my mind is like how i try to stay motivated and positive and how i'm like just constantly pushing myself. So i hope you guys really enjoyed this entrepreneur.
