In this video DIY tutorial I'll show you how to easily lighten or darken / tint your brows from home. It is so simple to do yourself with these easy steps! No need to see a salon for such an easy task. I go ahead and show you on myself how to do either method. Whether you want darkening or lightening to your eyebrows. I will show you bot methods at once leaving me with two very miss-matched brows lol. Hope this helps. Please leave me any questions you may have, please subscribe if you haven't yet! For Lightning / Bleach
You will need:

1. mix equal amounts of both powder and developer
2. Apply generously to the eyebrow, making sure to completely saturate all little brow hairs.
3. Let process for about 5-7 minutes. (may need a few more mixture for excessively dark hair)
4. Wipe off ad make sure to wash area with a mild cleanser. Make sure to remove all product.
5. You're done! Enjoy your new light brows!
For Darkening/ Brow Tint
You will need:
level 6N or (5N extra dark) color gel- I used Redken. You can use any brand. And a processing solution. (not a cream developer)
1. Apply equal parts color and processing solution
2. apply to the eyebrows making sure to saturate all little brow hairs.
3, make sure not to let product sit on the skin, if you get some on the skin make sure to wipe off any product off the skin.
4. Let process for about 5 minutes.
5. Wipe off comepletely.
6. All done, ENjoy your new Bold tinted brows!

Hey everyone, so in today's video, as promised, I'm going to do my lightning and tinting of the eyebrows, so there's obviously two things you can do to change or tweak the color of your eyebrows. I'M going to show you both techniques. This the first step is going to be for lightening your eyebrows, and this is if your eyebrows are quite dark. I just like to use this facial cream bleach, it's safe on the face and any way that any time that you need to lighten that much and you do need something strong, but you also still want to you know to make sure that it's something safe. It is around the eye, so you need to obviously be really careful, then to darken them. I'M just going to use this a redkin color gel in the level of 6 and 6 and to me, is what I would use if you want to go really dark. Maybe a 5 end, but I honestly think that a 6n is probably universal and good for everyone and, of course, I'm going to process that with just processing solution. All that's going to do is deposit color onto the hair, and it's not going to lift. I will be doing one eyebrow, I will be tinting and one I browse. I will be lightening, so I will be looking absolutely gorgeous at the end of this video, so you can use any cream bleach. This one comes with little board that you can kind of mix stuff on in a little spatula, so I'm just going to mix equal parts. Obviously you don't need much. A little bit goes a very long way. I try to stay on the brow if it touches your skin. It'S fine but of course, just trying to keep it as much on the hair as possible. Okay, so now for the tinting side or the darkening side, I'm going to mix just a tiny drop of the 6n and a drop of the processing solution. So once that is a well mixed, you can go ahead and apply to the eyebrow. You can use a clean spoolie, that's great for this as well. I'M just using the color brush, and so this product is a little bit easier to work. It'S a little bit kind of more liquid, so it's easier sort of to just kind of get in there into the brow. Now, if you're using a 6n like, I am or a lower, so 6n or 5n, which can be typically pretty dark, you have to make sure that this one doesn't touch the skin because it may stain it. So we want to keep it of course perfectly just on the hair. So if you feel that you've gone outside the lines, a little bit go ahead and once you've set rated the eyebrow go ahead and wipe all the excess product I'm just going to. Let them both process and I'll show you the result all right, so I've gone ahead and washed off all the product on both eyebrows, and here are the results, so obviously the lighter side and the darker side. This is probably almost a little bit too light for my hair and my coloring, and this is probably too dark, but obviously I'm showing you both processes, and so I wanted to obviously show you the two steps and obviously the two results for doing either. If you haven't tried, lightening or changing the color of your brows, I definitely recommend it. I think it makes makeup and everything else so much easier, especially if you've changed your hair color. Obviously, if your hair color is natural color, then your eyebrows will probably match it beautifully. But if you do change your color, even if it's just like a highlight, I noticed that when I started lightening my eyebrows, it just made like a world of difference and everything. Just kind of went together so much better, as you guys have noticed, my hair has changed a little bit. I'M back to my lighter blonde and I do have a completely different formula, so I will be doing a video on my new formula, which is a lot more damaged Freight on the hair, which is great for blondes. ellebangs: A good rule of thumb, for those not sure whether they need lightning or darkening... Brunettes look good with brows about 1 shade lighter than the hair. Blondes look good with brows about 2 shades darker than their hair.

darbi rhian: I actually like the fact that when I lighten my hair, I don't feel silly with leaving my eyebrows natural...my hair is probably about a level 6.5 and my eyebrows are an 8 or 9. Right now I've used a sun in hair lightener and my hair is mostly copper, but with a bit of a blonde tint, about a level or two lighter than my natural. To darken my eyebrows when I've darkened my hair in the past, I have used used a swatch of the demi/semi permanent dye on my brows that I used to darken my locks. That works as long as it's not a golden brown shade, because that just turns my eyebrows golden blonde! haha

Not good so just on instinct I went back to my childhood color of a light brown with some blonde highlights. Almost immediately I got compliments. My hair pulls red though so I battle the reddy all the time. But to the point, my eyebrows are very dark and full. The look like two black catepillars crawling across my face, um think the former Russian Premier Breshnev. LOL so I take them down a tone or two. 3ye3ye3lack3ird: I have white eyebrows and have never dyed my brown hair on my head before, but I have thought about dying my eyebrows. Also I don't wear a lot of make up, even though I'm almost 30. So the thought of dying them is a scary one but would seem more cost effective and less work in the long run for good periods of time. Aka, I wouldn't have to draw on browse everyday or look odd when I would/wouldn't wear makeup because it would be semipermanent. Thanks for your video, it was really great and interesting. madeline bailey: I do this all the time. At my age, hair is lack hairs, some white hairs, some god only knows color. I use an old makeup container that is tiny, a drop of dye, a drop of developer, and an old makeup brush. It takes no amount of dye at all. Use a q-tip to remove excess. Easy to do at home. Anne Scofield: The time given as "5 minutes" is off. I guess if you have virgin (un-dyed) brow hair, and it's the lightest of blonde (I'm a natural Strawberry blonde), it'll take at least 2 (20 minute) sessions, to get your brows dyed red. I used Redken Shades eq cream in 06Cr (Firecracker/Copper red). It looks very nice now.
