Conceal Those Knots (No Bleach)! Beginner Friendly Wig Customization | Wine N' Wigs Wednesday

Hey, ladies and gentlemen, I am back with another video and guess what it is: wine and wigs Wednesday, it's weird to start off the video with a wig, well its wine and wigs Wednesday, but it's daytime and I don't have any wine. So I have a mango and pear smoothie shut up all the pear, so sit with me. Whatever you drink it, I want a mango smoothie whatever. So today we have a special video. As you can see, the wig is already on my head. It'S already costume up and it is from Sam's Beauty, calm and Sam sweetie. Calm is an online beauty. Supply store, y'all have seen me review their synthetic wigs or even human hair blend weeks before, but today we are with a fully human hair. Wig. Not only is a human hair, but it's full lace so get into it. This video is not only a whiner wigs Wednesday I'll show you how I would easily customize my lace, wigs. If I don't want to go through all that now. Let me just show you what the packaging look like. First, this wig is the celebrity 100 % virgin remy human hair, full lace, wig, it's an effortless glam, so it's 24 inches long and it's in the color natural. So I'm gon na show you the cap construction. So this week is, like I said, a full lace wig. So there are no columns in this wig off, so it only has adjustable straps. In the back. When I looked at the wig, I can see that the knots were not bleached. Oh, the hairline was a little bit a little bit thicker, but it wasn't customized. The parts were a little bit more crowded. What I'm first going to do is pluck the parts you can pluck your part with tweezer or you can do just the pull out method. Where you just pull the hair right out, the lace don't grab too much hair the more hair you grab the easier it is to rip a hole in it for the hairline. I first do is part it in the front and then pluck the hairs there and I part it once behind it, and then I pluck the hairs there once again, then in the very very front I do that last. I pluck the hairline just to make it look a little bit more Spacey and more of a gradient I'd. Do the same thing on the left side see that is my hairline. I haven't blended or glued anything down. Just like this bar. I put something got to be glue there. You can see my lace right here, but it's less just bulky and a little bit more of a gradient, and it took only about 15-20 minutes to pluck a whole bunch of hair out of the lake, whereas it would take hours or even days with a tweezer. Oh, I also used a Revlon curling iron just to press down the size of this wig to make it lay flat. After that, I'd cut off the lace around the front and around the back. When you're cutting off your lace make sure you're doing it in a zigzag line, I'm still learning how to do that. If you cut in a straight line, you can definitely see where your skin ends and the lace begins so just make sure you're cutting in a zigzag line and you're, taking your time and you're not cutting straight across, especially with your human hair, wigs the ear tabs Of my wig also cover up my ears, so I'm going to just go ahead and size it and then chop off the ends that are excess on the side. So it fits perfectly once that's done, I'm going to just go ahead and turn my wig inside out and take some foundation now. The foundation that I use is a Revlon Colorstay foundation in caramel. The reason why I use this foundation is because, as the foundation is a thicker consistency and it's supposed to be a 24-hour foundation, also mixed it with the Mac Pro Longwear wear concealer, that is a waterproof concealer. So it's going to stay on the wig without moving around and it dries quickly as well. So once I place that all over the areas that I know will be exposed now you can do it all over the lace if you would like to, but that's not necessary for me, because I know I'm just gon na wear this wig in a middle part. I just allow it to sit and dry, and then I take some powder and you powder that you would like that matches your skin tone. I use the Iman second-to-none luminous foundation. Pressed powder will be just a little bit better, but I use this because that was the one I had on hand. I press that all over the areas to set it. If you want to go an extra step, you also can use a hairspray and it almost sets it completely to where it doesn't move. It won't be removed at all. Once you wear it, so you can use any sort of strong hold hairspray to go ahead and spray that on top and then you're, just completely done, didn't, have to watch the weight and go through this whole process before I wore it. So this is a good method, if you're, just in a rush and you're trying to get this wig done. Without doing all that, though, this is the final look, I'm going to go ahead and give you the pros and cons on this beautiful, celebrity wig Hany. First, let me go ahead and tell you that it feels extremely soft. It is virgin remy hair. It feels like quality hair. Now I haven't watched it, so my review may not be as thorough as it needs to be, but this is just first impressions. I love the density of the wig, it is thick, but it's not so thick and the ends as well are very, very thick. They don't thin out and fray out. You can tell that they made sure they cut the hair to a length where the ends were still healthy. It comes at 24 inches. I wish that it was longer, but I'm just a thought and I love long hair, so don't base that on me. I love the waves when you just get it it's a beautiful wave. I love that. I, like the lace. The lace was really soft, but it wasn't so soft to where you couldn't do anything with it. You had to be extra careful, so I did enjoy that as well. Another probe was that hair line wasn't too thick. It'S a beauty supply store. Wig. Usually, I expect the stock weeks to be just a little bit more, a little bit more difficult to customize and this one for a beauty, supply store. Wig, actually wasn't that difficult to customize. I think that's it about the pros the cons the cons are shedding. I think I can't tell whether or not the shedding is coming from me, plucking the lace or coming from the wig itself. Now, after I wash it, I really be able to see whether or not this wig sheds just naturally or if I just had to get out those extra those extra little knots. Oh yeah, the color of the lace. Now the color of the lace is a very light color. So if you're darker than me, you would have to use the coffee method or whatever method that they use to dye the actual lace, because it's just so light that it's obvious or you can use foundation like I use and it will blend to your skin. Just fine, I do wish that a lot of companies would recognize that a lot of women of color buy wigs and that, because we do buy wigs, the lace should be closer to at least my skin color or at least find a way to make it more Invisible in that, like a whitish color, that's the only thing about the lace, everything else I loved about this week. My final thoughts, if I were to give this wig a grade mmm, I'm not gon na give it a grain. Yet I may come back a little bit later after our washing and stuff with a final grade, but for right now I really like the week, but without washing it or doing anything else to it.
