The lighting I have is still a better option than reliance on the digital color swatches. Remember also, colors can vary from piece to piece among wigs of the same style and also depends on the color calibration of your viewing device.

Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet at wig studio one today we're going to do a quick comparison of two brand new henry margu colors uh. What i'm wearing here is the new 60 101 gr and we're going to compare that to the very popular 10. 613 gr - these are great details you won't want to miss coming up. Both of these featured wig styles were purchased with my own funds. Scroll down hit the help button at the bottom that'll help you get connected with a live chat, so what i'm wearing here is henry margu's athena and one of their newer colors. This is the 6101gr, so the gr just stands for gradient, which is all of the rooted shades, are gr shades. So it just means that you gradually move from the darker root color into the main body of the color. It gives a beautiful natural illusion of regrowth. Some people really think that makes a wig look natural, more natural and others prefer not to have a root, but both of these that i'm going to show you today do have a root. The main color here is, like a very subtle silver light, pale blonde, and i think what they've done is they've taken the white and they have toned it and by toning it it kind of gave it a little bit of a silver cast to it. I really feel like it looks more like a just a toned platinum, because of course, then it's very heavily highlighted with platinum as well so you're going to see that little hint of silver coming through as they've toned the white and then the actual platinum does give A little dimension and warmth to it. This is a very ash tone. This is cool and ashy and very much devoid of warmth, but that platinum next to the toned white just give it a little dimension and then all of that on a medium brown root and as we've discussed on the root they've taken, the highlight color right up. It softens it quite a bit: it's a medium brown, but it's not it's not too golden in tone, so this color is very light and bright. If you enjoy colors like the jon renau's, a sleet or the silver sun rt8 by estetica, i think you will absolutely adore this color okay. So now we want to compare that to the 10-6-13 gr. Here we have the 10 6 13 gr on kendall. Now the 10 6 13 gr is my favorite henry margu color. At the moment i just own several pieces on it and i can tell you that they're very consistent across the board on this color. So what it is is a medium to dark ash blonde and then it's very heavily highlighted with platinum, all right ash on ash, and then that does have a medium golden brown root to it. Another gradient color, so you do see that root transition out very nicely. This is a very cool ash tone as well, and you know some of those darker ash blonde pieces in here can almost take on a sandy tone next to the very light platinum which kind of gives it some warmth, but it doesn't make it a warm color. Now, next to this 6101, though, however you're definitely going to see where this seems a little warmer than this color. So next, what we'll do is side by side of these two. Margaret Tassey: Thank you for this comparison. Color is so tricky. When looking at rooted color, I think regrowth looks "natural" on people who have naturally darker hair. But if you are a natural blond or elderly with white or grey hair, dark roots are not at all "natural" looking. Just so lucky we have so many choices. And people like you to show what these colors look like on real people.
