Hey guys so today I am going to be dyeing my hair. This video is sponsored by kiss I'm going to be testing out their new contagion dye. I have the color pink petal here as well as vivid violet. I am so excited to be dyeing my hair again, I feel, like I've, had blond hair for way way too long. I think it might be a record for how long I've had one single hair color, but cotton candy Emily, is back or will be very soon. So, let's get into some of the info for the product. This is what the die looks. Like is the Temptation semi-permanent diet from kiss. There is 48 different shades, which is insane, and these are actually made with aloe vera water opposed to distilled water. Like most semi-permanent dyes are so I thought that was really cool and, in case you're, unfamiliar with semi-permanent Dyess semi-permanent dye does not damage your hair. Usually it actually kind of helps it because of stuff like conditioning stuff. In this case, this one has like aloe vera argan oil, olive oil, keratin and collagen. Usually that stuff will actually help your hair and it doesn't have any like peroxide or sulfates or ammonia, or anything like that. So it's almost like doing a mask, except it's not like a mask. It'S just the dye. Do you know what I'm trying to say you got it so since I have two colors here, I bet you're wondering what I'm gon na do with them. I thought about this long and hard. I am going to do half and half so half pink half purple and I am going to leave my roots. My hair has gotten is so long look at this. I have been trying to grow my hair out for such a long time and I feel like the less I touch up my roots, the longer my hair gets, so I'm not going to do my roots again for a while, but I actually really like how my Roots look just kind of like my overall look so they're staying, so I am going to part my hair and let's get on with it. So I usually part my hair kind of to the side. Sometimes I'll do almost in the middle, not quite just straight in the middle - I just don't have the face shape for that. So I need to decide whether I want more purple or more pink so regularly, because I do like how it kind of like will mix in so I'm going to just split my hair down the middle and you're going want to do this on shampoo towel dried Hair, which mine is okay so now that I have put hair parted, I'm just gon na like clip each side together, so that I can keep them separate. I'M gon na grab on my gloves. So this is just like a squeezy tube type thing, so we're gon na go into the pink. This one is pink petal and they do have the levels on here. So now I'm just kind of kind of going with this. So I say we just start at. Like a nice big chunk up here, yay I've missed having a pink hair so so much it's really hard to find a good pink just like directly out of the bottle, because a lot of the time you have to really end up like mixing it, and then It'S a lot of effort and I do like when you can just like squeeze it out of this sort of like a jar. Okay, one little strand down, half a head to go. I do have a brush. Let'S try using the brush, it's actually really cool-looking. I usually don't see a dye that looks like that. It'S almost like a gel, I feel like. Maybe that's the aloe vera in it, but usually you know, dye usually looks even semi-permanent dye kind of looks like conditioner doesn't usually look like a gel decided hands are better. Oh no. I think my makeups gon na be a casualty of this process. Honestly. Would it even be an Emily here dying video? If I didn't just use my hands, I don't think so. No one was like that so far, I'm having a really really easy time, like just mushing it all into my hair. It'S spreading really really easily its coating and I still have a pretty good amount in this. Like I don't. I think I probably only use like half. I would probably be able to cover my entire head with just one look at how long my hair is got. It it's not crazy if you've been following me for a really long time. You probably remember when my hair was like up here: crazy, I'm just trying to make sure I really get every strand and I don't miss any blonde. I think it's all going pretty good. It looks really really really even okay clipping. All of that up looks pretty good, I'm actually going to change my gloves for the purple part just so that we don't contaminate any color okay. So next we're going to be doing vivid violet. This one is also a level 9, so here's this one. It looks a little bit dark coming out, but it looks a lot lighter once it's on you guys. Imagine how good those fake braids that I do are gon na look just like the two different colors. I am excited okay, so now I have this site, I'm gon na put it up or quick, and then my boyfriend set the missing this little itty bitty part right here so and I do that: okay gloves off now and voila okay, so you were supposed to Leave it on for 15 minutes, but I'm probably gon na leave it on a little longer, probably like 30 or 45, and then I won't rinse it out, and I will check back with you. Okay, so I wash the dye out of my hair and it's still kind of wet, but here it is the pink ended up a lot lighter than it was coming out of the bottle. It ended up a lot more like a pastel, and then this purple also ended up quite a bit lighter, but they were supposed to be a little lighter, but I really like how it turned out everything's really really even so far, especially this purple like there's, not A strand that's like a different shade. It took really really well and this pink. I keep. I feel like I'm getting a lot of like shine for my lights. I'M gon na turn them. I like real quick, so you can see like the full color of the pink without it all like the shine and whatever so here's the pink okay. So my hair is all dry here. It is. I really really like how it turned out, I'm so happy with it tried to give you guys, like a full view. So here's the back my head split, pretty much perfectly down the middle. This pink is a lot brighter in person. It looks almost like the color right here anyway guys this is the finished result. Let me know what you guys think I really love it. I feel a lot more myself being all colorful I felt like. I was feeling a little too plain with my blonde hair. I had blonde this for such a long time, it's so fun to make a change. Overall, I really really like these dyes. They were really really easy to use and I thought they applied really really evenly, especially this pink pink is usually really really hard to get even a lot of the times for a pastel pink. You have to have really really white hair, and that can mean that a lot of times a bunch of little places don't take it so you'll end up with like some really really white spots and then some really really happy spots. But this one applied really really evenly, which I really like, and then this one did as well, especially for damaged and how many times I've bleached this hair, it all applied better than I would say a lot of the other dyes that I've used. I got sapphire blue, Atomic pink and the same vivid violet. I liked that they have no harsh chemicals.
