Hello, Hello, everybody welcome back to our Channel. I am JC if you are new here from just lost JC here or whatever, so this video is all about my faux wash and go, which is essentially the hairstyle that you see here. Okay, it's supposed to resemble a wash and go look like a wash and go, but it's not actually a single. So if you want to see how I got my hair like this, please continue to watch. This is actually my hair after being out for a day in the humidity, so it actually did shrink up more. But my foot wash and goes in general are a bit more shrunken because they're supposed to look like how my hair would look. If I did a wash and go so, let's hop right into it, so, as you can see, the hair is looking crusty, it's looking crusty. I just wanted to show you guys this, because my hair was super dry from a protective style that I had just finished. So this style is done on freshly washed hair doesn't matter how dirty your hair is as long as you wash it just do, whatever method works for you, when washing I wash my hair typically in sections and this time I use the product, you could kind of See some of the product in there, but don't worry I washed that out and I get it all clean, but freshly washed hair is your base. Here'S what I'm going to be using this spray! I'M going to have this Linked In the description box! Absolutely love! This Mist direct weightless leave-in conditioner from Giovanni's old favorite on this channel, as I am, has a restore and repair hair cream that I love and then for a bit more structure and definition. I'M using this curly curl cream from Talia wajid and, of course, my hair growth oil that I'm going to use to seal that also will be linked down in the description box, love this oil, those of y'all that know it helped repair and restore my hair and Helped me grow it back when I was going through a hard time with my hair journey and the setback so definitely click that link down below read all the ingredients. It'S a really great jam-packed oil. So you want to start with moisturizing and getting the section as moist and as damp as possible. I like to use the Mist that I created I like to use it Rosemary spray. It works wonders it softens the hair. Amazingly, I don't know what it is. I really really highly recommend you check out that video and try it out because it really works. So the point is you want to get the hair as damp as possible because you know with 4b4c hair. The kinky of your hair is the more. The definition shows when your hair is wet so for this, because it is a wash and go faux wash and go that really matters, so you want to go and get your hair soaked as possible whenever you need to go back spray. Some water spray, some Mist whatever it is and then add of products. So for this back section, I used my leave-in conditioner from Giovanni's, put some in the section that really activates my curl pattern, a bit more. Of course I like to go in with the cream. So I'm using the as I am, restore and Repair Cream as well on that section go on with that, and this I really like to focus all through the hair, especially on the ends. This is a hairstyle, but at the end of the day I do want to take care of my hair and have it as moisturized and and healthy as possible. Then I go in with the curling custard. This is great because it just locks in the definition that the rest of the products give you the more your hair is wet the more the definition comes out, but you also need something to kind of seal it in place and instead of using gel. I just prefer to use that constantly going back in to re-moisturize re-wet reactivate my hair, because again I just want it to bring out the definition that my hair has. I do have four before see hair, as you can see so getting that definition getting that clumping going is very important because that will show up in the style, and I like to seal as you do you know, so I use my hair growth oil. It also works great as a sealant another way to use it as well as using your scalp to a course promote hair growth. So I use that as a sealant and then I twist the section, so this part is actually very important. This is the part I think that makes it look more like a wash and go than a twist out when you are twisting the section you want to twist as lightly as possible have a very light hand, because the harder and the stronger your twist is the More that twist pattern will show up in the end result making it appear more like a twist out. That'S also the reason I do this in bigger sections, the bigger the sections are, the less likely your hair is to adapt the pattern of a Light twist. So I lightly twist the section again. This is just to help stretch the hair, that's what this is for. It'S not there to make any curl happen. Now I get a bit more firm with twisting at the ends, because my ends have a tendency to frizz at. I think most 4B 4C hair does so for me, it's very important to twist the ends a bit tighter because I really want to lock in that. At the end I like to use this to get in there. This really helps smooth it out and moisturize. I don't know it just softens my hair, a lot and I really like using this, so I get that in there to get it soaking wet, that's kind of the point of this style. You want to get it as wet as possible and Define as much as possible, because it's supposed to look more like a wash and go so. However, your hair texture would look in the washing mode. That'S how it's supposed to be so. I'M kind of running low on this product. I actually have another one, but I just want to really get it anyway. I like to use some of my Giovanni's to get in there next and I love Giovanni's, because for me I don't know it just works to Define my hair really well. Let'S smooth it in point is the product: okay, but a lot of it. A lot more than I I would usually put is what I'm putting in, because, again we're not really doing twists with this, so you can see getting it in there and immediately. You can see what the Giovanni's is doing in terms of clumping. The hair really works for my hair, I'm gon na use this and the whole time when I'm moisturizing and or adding liquid or water to my hair. I'M using that mixture, the Rosemary concoction, please check out the video that I did on that um, like I said, been loving it for my hair and it smells really good actually for my hair and my scalp pick up some in there just to get just to Get that going okay, so got that smoothed. I get some more moisture here at the scalp all right, so for each section I've kind of been doing things differently. I mean I feel, like everyone knows their products as well as the sections of their hair. So in the front section of my hair, because this section is just a bit more stringy - is what I like to call it. It'S kind of a looser texture as well as it being looser, meaning like not really that loose. I'M just saying, like it's kind of I don't know how to explain it, but it's more stringy, basically than the middle and the back section of my hair. So for this one this section I'm not gon na put as much product, because I don't want the section to be weighed down, so I'm just going in with the Giovanni's and I'm gon na go in with the Talia with Jeet um curling custard. I think this is just to freeze everything in place. Italian Vegeta is really good for that, and especially on my front section. So I'm just smoothing that in I'm trying to freeze in the what's it called definition that we kind of got with the Giovanni's. And, of course, I like to focus it on my ends as well, is the full wash and go? Obviously, I have mainly 4C hair, so it's going to look like um a wash and go with 4C hair. So I know it's not going to be crazy definition. Obviously, but it's I'm just trying to get the most out of the the what's. It called um the definition that comes with my hair, so yeah. Okay, so, as you can see, nothing crazy is not too it's not too defined, it's not too whatever, but it still comes out looking good, especially if you're more of a person that enjoys volume like I do versus um versus definition, especially at the front of my Hair, okay, so I'm just going to double up with some more product, some more of the Giovanni's combing. Through I'm getting over there excess shed hairs. I can still feel some of them coming out: okay, okay! So this is all well and good. I'M gon na get it a bit more, so one more time, because this is really activating what you have there and you want to activate activate activate. I don't think I'm going to use any oil in this section. I did it in the other one. Oh, this is kind of clumping a bit. Let me I want to detangle this because it feels more like a tangle than a clump Chow, and what we not gon na do is be Tangled yeah. It'S definitely more of a tangle, then a clump, honey. Okay, I'm just gon na work on this before I put it away a bit more detangled the better. So obviously this is being done on freshly washed hair. So I'm trying to make sure that I have as much of the tangles out I detangled already before I washed, but you know how that goes. Is this hair type? So, okay, okay, it is as good as it's gon na get. So this is the real key part. The real key is dividing it and twisting you want to be gentle, because you want the um curls that you form not to get too frizzy. But I also like to you know, take my time and divide okay and then for me, it's important that the twist is a certain way, so you don't want to twist two two firmly, especially for me at the front. I like the front to be able to shrink up a bit more just because I feel like the front of my hair is kind of longer and I prefer the shape more when it is shrunken and appear shorter. So I'm definitely not putting too much. You can see it's a very, very loose loose loose loose twist, get it down to the end and when I get to the end, then not even not this much, but when I get a bit lower, then you see me twist a bit um tighter. I guess because I I want the ends to have more definition. So for me, what's important is the puffiness in the center, so I don't really care too much about the definition in the center of it and even at the top to be fair. I just care about the end, so I wet the end and then I grab some more products. So this is the teleology product and grab a little bit of. I just had a lot come out anyway. Okay, this is the Giovanni's on the ends. So, being gentle gentle gentle with it, you know I'm gon na get it as defined as possible and then twist this up a bit stronger, not stronger but like firmer, is what I meant to say. Then the section above it that's really. It is a simple something again: it's a full wash and go so it's going to resemble how a wash and go would look on the whatever hair type that you have. So I know my hair type. This is how it would look so usually I would do this a lot simpler. I would do it in six sections, so one two um yeah, two one, two four and then six, because I kind of need this to dry. I divided this middle section, which is usually the thicker section into two smaller twists just so that it dries a bit quicker, um and yeah the drying process. You don't want to tie your hair back very strongly because again you want it to dry and Shrink dry and Shrink up a bit. It'S already going to be a bit more stretched than it would be. I have been a wash and go before in the past and it definitely stroke up a lot a lot. A lot so just by the nature of doing these loose twists, they're all ready or this wash and goes already gon na - be more stretched than a traditional wash and go especially depending on your texture. I think for every texture, it's going to stretch it out. So you don't want it to be too stretched out because then you're pretty much giving twists out. You know what I mean so so this is kind of the end of the day for me, so I'm gon na have to put it up, but traditionally, if I did it earlier in the day, I would just have my hair drying like this like down. In my house, for as long as possible so that we get all the drip out and it's drying as much as it can in this state. But when I am going to bed see very Loosely, I would do this and twist it up and then use just a pin or clip to clip it out of the way, don't want to use anything again. That'S going to stretch it even more than it would be stretched, so that's pretty much it let that dry. Maybe it's a day. I don't know how long your hair takes to dry a day day and a half and then take it out and then boom. That should be it we'll see how it looks. Y'All it's been a minute since I did this, but I think I've gotten the hang of it. You know okay, so this is at least two days later. You really want to make sure that your hair is as dry as possible. It has to be completely dry, in fact, completely dry, anyone that has done or has natural hair, especially for before the hair. You know that the style needs to be dry, so it is completely dry. As you can see, the twists are pretty shrunken up, because again, I tried very very hard not to ever tie my hair back tightly in these twists, because I'm not trying to stretch out my hair. I want it to shrink in these twists. The twist in and of itself will make my shrinkage way less, so I don't have to do any extra to prevent shrinkage by tying these twists tight. I want them to shrink as much as they can so I like to use my oil oil, my fingers a bit before I start taking out the twist. So it's quite simple after that. You separate your twists and then you just start using your fingers to lightly unclump the natural clumping that your hair has. This just exposes your natural hair texture, a bit more really using your fingers to unclump is going to be the thing that makes this look more. Like a wash and go than a twist out, coupled with the fact that your twists were really really light, so here is one section I untwisted, as you can see, you can't even tell that a Twist was ever in there. It does not look anything like a twist out. You guys have seen my twist outs on this channel or on this channel. Rather, you can see this section as well. Looks nothing like my twist outs. You can see my texture more, but instead of that texture being shrunken up, it's just elongated, so this is it completely out again. I don't think anyone would look at this style the way it looks and thinks oh, this is a twist out. This is a twist out now, because I did this in bigger sections. It does stretch out the top of the twist. Of course, the top of my twist doesn't have as much definition as the length of it, but for me I find once I style it. It all starts sort of Blends in and checks out, so I decided to do this dial. I actually saw the style on Instagram um and I decided to do it, but just adding two little braids on the side and then some twists just to make it a bit cute. You know, but, as you can see, this is after I wore my hair out for one day, so the shrinkage, the natural environment just makes it look very much so like a twist, I got so many compliments on my hair. I always do whenever I wear this. Co-Wash and go people love it because again it doesn't look like a twist out. They just think it's my hair, washed and Guam all right washed and gone, and I love it, looks better, the more it ages as most styles, with natural hairdos, so highly recommend trying this cracking the code to the wash and go. I hope you enjoyed the video. Basically, I did this style because I was just missing my hair. I had done so many different hairstyles and played with so many different hairstyles that I have not played with before over this summer. Most of them were protective styles, meaning that my hair was not out at all. So I started to miss my hair and I wanted to see you know how it was doing. Okay, I was doing, and I'm very happy very thrilled with what it's doing now. I love the full wash and goes because it always gives me a lot more volume which I love um. So, yes, I was glad to see. Glad to you know, have it back or whatever, and I wanted to show you guys how I did this style. So hopefully it was informative, like comment and subscribe of course say any tips and tricks that you guys use down in the comment section. Of course, I'm sure everyone would love to know um and that is it bye guys. Oh yes, I always forget to plug that. I have a tick tock. Now I have a tick tock. Yes, it's a bit mad over there, but it's just a collection of all the things that I feel like putting up not only hair related, definitely hair stuff, but other funny stuff that I like doing there as well. Of course, I share some of those things here on my YouTube story, but definitely not as much as I post over there, because I pretty much post every day over there, so if you're interested definitely go check out my Tick Tock. Of course, I have Instagram media content at best honey, but we do what we can do: okay, okay, anyway, bye guys,
