Amazon Wig Battle #2 : Deep Wave Vs. Water Wave + Giveaway | Ft. Wenyu Wigs **Detailed**

So i am hyped today, as you can tell how y'all like my makeup, i tried really hard today and i hope that it came out really nice, yes, okay, anyways uh, if you're new here, i'm trini charnay welcome to my channel. You already know what to do like comment subscribe if you're feeling this video, but today is a special one, i'm trying to tell y'all, because we have two 18-inch wigs to review for y'all, and not only that i'm gon na allow y'all to vote um. It'S kind of already decided, but at the end of this video one of these wigs will be part of the entry of the giveaway, because i have an extra one that was sent to me just for you guys. Okay, so make sure you watch the entire video. I'M also going to be reviewing some more so i can include some more in the giveaway because the last giveaway we had three winners: three different wigs and i'm hoping to do the same. So i know this giveaway has been a little bit delayed because of a couple reasons so um, if you're not already familiar so we've had to push back this giveaway, but no worries. We'Re gon na have some extra extra goodies in here this time. Okay, so without further ado, let me introduce you too. We got whitney over here. She is an 18 inch waterway from when you, and both of these wigs today are going to be from when you which you can find this company on amazon. I review for them before watch that video, if you haven't already of the last battle, but this is the water wave texture. This is one of the textures we'll be featuring in the video today and the other texture is deep wave now. I know she might look a little. This might look a little stale right now, but wait wait till you see this one come to life: okay, i've already kind of cheated a little bit, because i got this one first and i went ahead and tried it on. First um - and i just got this one um two of these in the mail - so i haven't even put this one on, but i know it's already gon na be cute, so who do y'all think is going to win this battle? And i named these wigs myself, but do you think destiny's going to win water wave versus deep wave, my money's on the deep wave but water waves? Looking a little too cute over here, so i don't know this might be a tough decision. But let me go ahead and show y'all what you'll get in the packaging once you order, and then we can give these a little tlc and we're gon na throw these on, and we just gon na we're just gon na see from there. So make sure you stay tuned, don't go nowhere. Y'All don't go nowhere! This one right here is our 18 inch deep wave. So let me show you this one first. So of course you get standard headband, you get two of them. Here'S the other one very cute and of course you get the wig itself, so i'm gon na open this up and show you guys what it looks like before we add product to it so take the net off, and this is what the curl pattern looks like And i'm going to show you up close in a second, but let's go ahead and open this other one. This is the 18 inch water wave. So this one came in a different package but same company, so you get two headbands, so i have the exact same ones um from this one um. So nothing different here, and this is the texture or the curl pattern of this one, the water weight. So it's giving me very much like a loose wave kind of texture um, but i'm gon na pop them both on a canvas block and i'm going to show you what they look like kind of side by side and add some product to them today to define These beautiful curls, we are only using two products which is lottabody and also some good old, fresh h2o. I'M gon na spray, this puppy down add a little bit of this. Get your brush ready to define these curls and let's just do the thing y'all. Let'S just do it, this is what the deep wave looks like after it's been defined. You can see that we're gon na let her dry off a little bit and we're going to do water wave now. But let me show you how much shedding that you will get so this isn't really much like. I don't know if it looks like a light lot, because it's coming out on their longer strands, but it's kind of to be expected. It wasn't. It wasn't hard to comb or detangle or anything like that, but let's do the next one, so i can show you guys the difference all right. So this is what the water wave aka whitney looks like after she's been defined she's. Looking good, i mean the cropped patterns, look a little similar, but this looks looser to me. This is how much shedding i got like. I said, they're longer strands, so it looks like a lot, but it's really not just about the same. So we're going to start with the deep wave first, if i haven't said this already, this is retailing for the 18 inch 79.99 on amazon. I have my headband ready, so so i have her on. This is what she's looking like. I love it. I really do i've always wanted like a deep wave texture like in a full lace, wig um. So it's really nice to have it in like the headband wig, because it's just a really nice soft texture - and i don't know it's just you know it's just kind of flowy. It'S just a little flow. As i was saying, you know you can do a little tuck in a little swooping and i'm gon na add my hat and you see hold on you see there. That'S super cute, like you, don't even see the headband where's, the headband. I don't know it disappeared. Okay, i'm getting a little sidetracked, i'm sorry in advance. If this video is a little bit long, because i'm playing too much i'm playing too much, i'm sorry, but this is this - is a vibe. This is a vibe a whole vibe, like i said you can get creative. This is still a unit, that's for you, but let me stop showing all this love to deep wave. I mean y'all know the typical styles that you can do in these, but i just kind of want to switch it up a little bit um. But of course i'll i'll show you guys that you can do the half up half down yadda yadda you've seen me. Do it a million times - and here goes this artwash once again, all right, i'm sorry i'll be back all right. I show a deep wave enough love for today i told y'all. I was kind of biased that i think she's my favorite, but let's go ahead and put on water wave and let's see what kind of vibe she's giving us. You know if, if whitney's on a whole different wave, let's go ahead and put her on okay, sis, sis water wave wanted to let y'all know she was not here to play with y'all. She was not gon na. Let deep wave just come out here and do her thing, because i threw her on instantly. I just felt like she just had her own personality. She fell just like this in front of my face, like she was like if they thought, if you thought deep wave was gon na win this one she giving me she giving it a run for its money. She just has a soft. I mean both of these textures are very soft, but she's, just giving a very soft, oh just elegant, look like, can you imagine like being dressed up or being like taking your instagram pictures and like how soft? How soft she looks just is very, i mean like a a crown to wear with this type of wig, because all right, let me see if i can pull out a headband - that's worthy enough to go on this unit, because she's just too pretty she's, just giving Very pretty vibes and i usually think that deep wave is pretty too, but i don't know water wave is giving me something i didn't even anticipate. So let me give her a little bit of styling for y'all, so y'all can see and we don't compare at the end, y'all and, of course, always going to give my pros and cons so stay tuned i'll, be that's better. I had to pull out the bling bling. I had to pull out all the stops for her because she was just demanding that she wanted me to let y'all know she's royalty and nothing less. You know because whoo well, if i had to give my con early, no i'll, save it i'll, save it she's. Just i just love her. This is how the back looks all right. Judges where are y'all at i need y'all in these comments. Okay, so we are gon na do like a score card for these two units. Now i know i came in and i said, i'm biased and i'm already team deep wave but water wave. You know waterways showed up and showed out so we're gon na. You know judge these accordingly and at the end there is going to be a free unit that is going in the giveaway. So, let's start off by judging them based on their like cap construction, so they are quite similar in how they're constructed the only difference. I noticed is that on this water wave unit, the first track is like flipped kind of flipped down almost so i don't know if you were able to see in one of the styles that i was trying to achieve. But the reason why i just kind of fell the way it did is because one, the very first track, just kind of like flips down, which kind of exposes the second track a little bit. Now it won't matter too much as you just kind of pull it back a little bit um. But that's one thing i noticed and then on the deep wave. It just seems it's it's a little bit of a thicker unit, so it seems like it's kind of like thick right at the start of the band like the hair is just like i'm here, like it's just ready to just ready to show up, and it's just Kind of sitting right there where's, like this cap construction, the way that the hair goes right on the headband, it's just kind of like smooth smooth, so i'm gon na do a score out of five for cap construction. I'M gon na give water wave of four i'm gon na give them both of four, because there there's a con with both volume. Y'All know how i feel about volume, aka density, these both the both these units are 150 standard density across the board. Now deep wave is gon na give you a lot of volume like even as it dries like. You know, if you wet it and put you know product on it after it dries it kind of gets bigger, so deep wave is definitely a 5 out of 5. For thickness and fullness and volume um as far as water wave goes, i don't think it's really intended for this to be a super thick unit. Um, it's thick, as you can tell you know it's 150 density. It'S perfect! You don't see any gaps in between. Like you know, it's full, so it's just! I don't think it's meant to be as full as the deep wave unit um, but if you're someone who wants to put it in ponytails deep wave is going to allow you to do that top up. You know the top bun half half half up half down, look with a thicker little bun at the top, whereas when i try to do the deep, the water wave one, it was like. You know a little ball on the top. So if you are someone who wants to switch up styles, deep wave is going to be thicker in volume than the water wave. All right. Next up lymph they're both the same length. They'Re perfect. I didn't notice any differences like i did in my last battle. They'Re, the exact same 18 inch length across the board, so they both get a 5 out of 5. For that now, press the deep wave unit is 79.99 for the 18 inch. The water wave unit is 76.99 for the 18 inch that ain't too much of a difference to me. But i guess, if we're going with you know cheaper, then i guess water wave would be the five out of five, whereas the deep wave is gon na. Be a four out of five, maybe four point five out of five they're neck and neck. So that's not too much of a difference shedding and tangling. I think they were. I looked at the brush after i brushed out both units um and after having on this unit. For like a few minutes, i actually noticed there were like a couple strands on my hand. Now it's not excessive you're, not it's not clumps. It'S not tangling. It'S just shedding, so, if i had to go with, which unit was like better when it came to shedding just like initial impressions, brushing it out wearing it, i'm gon na say deep. Wave gets a five out of five, and the water wave gets a four out of five. I want you guys to vote in my comments, which unit do you feel like was the most beautiful, which unit do you feel like? I can see myself in that, and i know i would be feeling myself in that unit like overall for both of these units they're very neck and neck, it's very hard to say out of all the scores that i gave each of them, but i can't believe I'M saying it waterways made me a believer y'all like i didn't even take it off like i was gon na put my hat back on and i was like nah embrace it like embrace water wave embrace that beauty girl keep it on keep it on like, but I really want to know what was your favorite deep wave or waterway like, and i think that just depends on what vibe you're going for, but i'm here to tell a y'all winner and it could be, you will be gifted this brand new never been touched.
