So thank you so much to nashe. So today we are working with a 24 inch, hd lace, curly unit, all right so modelling. Today we have our girl bubbles in the building and y'all be thinking that she's erica j all the time but yeah she's. Getting this install and y'all she's excited. We don't give a about that slim, jim you're, a liar yes and say hey to that crazy girl as well. So the thing about this wig install today is that bubbles has locks underneath this stocking cap. Now her locks are like almost to her back like you know, they have some hang time. So i was a little bit concerned if this wig was gon na fit her head or not. Like the first time we put a wig on her um after she locked her hair. It was a handmade wig, so you know it was made with a dome cap and you can adjust how big or small the wig is. But this time we're using a machine made wig, so we're going to see how it does all right. So before i really start talking about this install, i want to introduce you guys to bubbles and like who she is to me now. I know y'all don't see her on my channel a lot because this is probably only like her third time getting her hair done by me well on my channel, but we actually have a very extensive, complex, controversial history, so we met strictly for business right. One time i posted on instagram like i needed a braider and she responded and she came to my shop the next day and she started braiding like immediately. So i don't know when this like disconnect happened between us. I don't, i really don't know how but like within the first week of us, working with each other. I was sitting down on the couch at the salon, looking at my phone just laughing at memes and videos and stuff and all of a sudden i hear what you laughing at and i'm like. I look up and i look at her and i'm like my phone and she was like oh and like put her head back down and kept braiding and in my mind, i'm like, like girl, ain't, nobody paying attention to you, but i i let it slide. I'M, like i don't know what this girl got going on. I don't know why she's so on edge, but i let it go and long story short. We ended up working with each other and even going on tour with each other like for the next couple years, and one main reason i will always have love and respect for this girl is because she was there for me when i was literally like at my Lowest so a long time ago, maybe like six years ago, when i used to still live in my parents house, i lived with my brother, my sister, and i had a roommate and y'all me and my brother were not getting along. We were fighting every other day and one day he randomly quote unquote by accident, ran over one of my kittens and i was sent over the edge like i'm like i i'm not staying here another night and i left that night, like i felt like a runaway Kid and i called bubbles - and i was like i have 400 to my name - can i move in and she said yeah so ever since then like like, we stayed together for only like. I think it was only like four months we lived together, but it was just such a an experience for both of us, like we learned each other on different levels like we were more, you know in tune with each other's lives and relationships and like personal life And we just got dangerously close almost like sisters, so yeah, that's just a little piece of our history, all right so back to this wig install. So you know, even though she has you know a lot of volume under this wig and her dress, don't lay necessarily flat. It was still a good fit and it's not pulling back at all. So i was really happy about that. Now i got ta show you guys how i'm about to blend this lace with her skin and make it look like it's coming out this scalp okay watch this! Yes, listen! If you know you know, i've been complaining about not being able to match the lace. To my model's complexion for a long time you know i like using makeup, but makeup doesn't always like do it do it, so i finally finally have my own lace, tint, foams and y'all. I am obsessed like out of all the products i'm putting out this year. These three have to be my favorite all right. So, in my opinion, right the best thing about these lace: tint foams - is the undertone of them like, for example, sometimes when i'll be tinting the lace with my foundation or my powder foundation, i mean i can put a brown on a lace and it can still Look ashy, especially in photos, you know, but with these new lace, tint, foams, it's like it's brown, but it's rich brown with gold and red undertone. So it really looks like skin. Alright! So listen! So you can really melt that lace all right, so we have three different complexions. We have the light brown. The medium brown and the dark brown all right, so she wants to go for a sexy, wet and wavy type of look today. So i made sure i wet the entire wig down from the inside out make sure that all the strands of hair are wet. So it can all be even like one thing that annoys me is when you try to do a wet style, but then you look underneath and there's like poofiness under there so make sure all of it is wet, and i applied my tropical root setting foam rubbing. It through and now i'm just combing it so once again, it touches all the strands. All right you guys. So this is another new product that you will see on the website, which is our liquid lace gel all right. Now you can use this product to apply temporary wig installs. It may last you like a day or two, but i like to use it for baby hair, because it's strong enough for baby hair, but not as strong to keep like a week-long install but for referral. It might keep your baby hairs in place. For a week, though, so, if you're looking for something to keep your baby hairs intact and something that does not flake up at all, then maybe you should try this product now. The way i get inspired to create new products is, you know, looking at the ones that i already use on a daily basis, so i will compare the liquid lace gel to got to be glue now me using both. I can say that the liquid lace gel is a lot stickier and it's a lot thicker, and i actually like that because it makes it easier for me to mold the baby hairs without them lifting up and getting curly. Now i will say that you know both products are liquid and they're, both water-based. So if you have the gel on your lace sitting down, you know on there for too long, then it will start to lift the lace. So you do kind of have to work with the quickness and or use the blow dryer at the same time. So sometimes when i'm doing baby hair and it's taking like longer than i anticipated i'll, have the model hold the blow dryer like two feet away. So you know that air can kind of hit the gel and dry it quicker. While i'm doing the baby hairs or i'll do a swoop dry, it another swoop dry, it another soup dry, it all right so about these baby hairs. Okay, we're doing swoopy we're doing sexy today and i really should do swoops more often. I don't know why. I don't all right so now that we have the left side nice and done. Let'S go ahead and do the right side and i am taking the liquid lace gel and mixing it with a little foam just to make it a little bit looser to get that kind of like a wispy baby hair. Look and even though it's not gon na feel wispy at all, it's gon na have that look, but you know honestly, it's not even that look because you know you can tell fluffy baby hairs, but these baby hair is like from a distance. They look soft, but when you touch them they be on there all right so before we wrap her up and sit her under the dryer. I'M gon na take my blow dryer and just put it on the hairline for a little while. So some of the gel can dry up because sometimes like when the gel is still wet and you put that black wrap on when it comes under the dryer, like it's really hard to take it off and it'd be sticking to the hairline. So i try to dry it a little bit before i put my models under the dryer, but even if you're doing your own hair or a client's head, and you notice that the black wrap is sticking to the hairline or you know sticking to the lace into The gel, then that's really easy to take off, like all you have to do - is put a little bit of water on your finger and put it on the part. That'S stuck or spray it with a spray bottle from like kind of far away all right. You guys this is the final result and listen. The curl pattern is amazing. The baby hairs amazing, but listen. It'S the color of the lace for me like that color is just scalpy like you can't tell me, that's not skin. So once again, thank you.
