Kinky Curly Wig Install | Wig Install Over Locs | Unice Hair

Hey y'all: it's me slay by Jordan. We are working with you and his hair. Today they sit over this 28 inch Kinky Curly unit. This is a 13 by 4 HG lace, wig. It comes with three coats in the inside and two adjustable straps. That lace is very thin, the knots do come pre-plucked and the wig was very soft fresh out the box. All I did off. Camera was bleach to knots and condition the wig with my silicone mix, and that was it and we're here today with my girl, Reese CB. She has lots, so I'm going to show you how we put her beautiful locks underneath this wig. So, first, what we're going to do is under braid her hair. You don't want to regular braid locks. You definitely want to under braid them that way they lay even flatter and the braid is laying inside of itself instead of on top, because when it lays on top, when you break the regular raid, it just creates more bulkiness and we don't want buckiness. So we want to braid it inward, so we're going to do a under braid and I, like my normal braiding pattern, I don't um, take the end of the braid and connect it to the next braid. I leave all the braids hanging. All I do is just tie them at the end, with a rubber band you'll see what we do in the end. I do about eight braids in her head. Sometimes I do not. Sometimes I do. Seven today ended up being seven. You just want to do as many um to get it as flat as you need it to be, so it may be different for your client um, but today we just did seven. I wasn't even trying to you know, do a specific amount. We just try to get it as flat as possible. I know I know it's. Our braiding is done um. As you can see, I did use blonde rubber bands on her ends. This is just so when um she takes her hair or whoever takes her hair out. They don't cut her locks by any means. We are not cutting a locks, we're not cutting our locks taking our wigs out. No, I absolutely will not have it so. Please use a different, color, rubber band and thread when doing your install as you can see. I'M sewing her braids down using blonde thread as well, I'm taking about three braids and I'm swooping them across the nape of her neck, and I'm sewing them just around like the base and once I saw them from one side to the other I'll grab. The other three and go underneath those as well - and you know, sew that around her neck and then that'll just have us a flat foundation with the bulk at the back, but it'll be at the back but rolled under. So that way we have a pretty flat Foundation um. I did silky straight wigs on her before and they still look flat as if it was a normal braid pattern and you can go down my Instagram feed and you will see her. So this Foundation is great for curly, wigs straight wigs, whatever it's going to ensure that your wig is flat period. I want all her step into her ball cap off camera as normal and we're gon na come back when it's time to install the wig, which is now we're using our rdf Ruby, kisses level 16. We'Re using the lightest shade in the palette. I'M going to add that all over the lace on the bottom and top of the lace and we're going to spray with free spray just to combat that oiliness and then we're going to position this wig on her head and sew it down. I don't want to die. Thank you foreign. Now, I'm just smoothing at my glue evenly I'm going to show you me doing this on both sides. I let each layer turn clear and we did four layers today, foreign, let's go ahead and lay that lace down. So now, I'm just using my blow dryer and the teeth of the comb to adhere this wig to her skin and now we're going to tie this down with that ultimate milk band from ibhslaze.com for 10 minutes. Those 10 minutes are up so we're going to take that ultimate Milkman off and we're going to proceed to cut out the excess lace and we're also going to apply makeup on that lace as needed to start our blending process, meaning foreign foreign me up so now, I'M going to use my wax stick and my hot comb to lay her middle part into place. The middle part today is going to be the foundation for our hairstyle. We'Re going to be doing just a simple crisscross, um hairstyle, but a middle part is the foundation for it. So that's what we're going to lay in her hair! First and after we do that, we're going to separate all the hairs out for the baby hairs and we're going to start our melting process, so stay tuned, so we're using our straight request: hair Flex, hair spray to melt this lace and we're going to tie her Down again with that ultimate milk band from ibhslaves.com and then we're going to start laying down the rest of the hairs on the frontal I'm just going to use my wax stick in my hot comb, as I did before. To lay that part in, but we're just going to go Section by section to really get this wig very flat a little. Thank you. Now we're going to take out this um ultimate milk band and we're going to start the foundation for our baby hairs, which is just going to be hot, coming down, cutting them with the eyebrow razor and then curling them upwards, with our mini pencil flat irons. We'Re not going to swoop them, yet just yet we're going to go ahead and do our style um beforehand today, just to save on time and then we're going to soup them. You know, after we do our style, so we're just gon na. Do the prep work for now foreign foreign baby juice, so you're gon na make a rectangle section on both sides of the park, but we're just gon na do one side um. First, Once you make your rectangle you're going to split that into two which will give you a square, then you're going to take your hot comb. You know smooth that out and you're going to take your edge control and smooth it out as well, and then you're just going to make a simple rubber band. Just do that for now, just only do the front Square. First, don't do the back one yet time. Every other night because and now do the front Square on the other side and y'all don't mind my girl Reese's eyes. She actually has her eyes closed, but her eyes don't fully close when they close. So it looks like she looking crazy, but her eyes really just closed yeah. I don't think my girl is just crazy eyes every where not after you do both of your front squares, you're going to do one of the back squares you're going to do. You know the same thing: High come and put your edge control on it and you're gon na take the front Square. That'S diagonal across from it, and you're gon na put some edge control. You know alone. You know, like the shaft of the hair and you're, going to connect that with the Back Square and that's going to be your first crisscross and then once you get that in a ponytail you gon na. Take that other front square and connect it with the other. Back Square, that's diagonal from it and that's gon na be your other crisscross and that's all you got to do simple, quick and easy we're not doing all the Christmas and the crosses today. I just want to keep this very simple. You know something that's fun and cute, but it ain't too much because doing all these rubber bands and Kristen and Crossing it. It can hurt your head. Honey it'd just be a lot you know to think about, but this is just a simple, quick, easy way to do it and you know, look like you did a lot, but you really did so yeah foreign foreign strips yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm happy And before she goes up on the dryer, we're gon na wear her hair fully with our mid spray bottle, which only has water in it we're going to spray that down fully and then I'm going to take my Beyond The Zone. Um noodle head. It'S like a curling cream and we're gon na liberally put that all over the hair and brush it through thoroughly with our paddle brush, and that way it's going to define the curls and keep it juicy um, but still have some fullness and then we're gon na Set her up on the dryer and then we're gon na be done once she's when she comes from the front of the dryer honey and look at these beautiful, Kinky Curls. Let'S get into it, and this is her hair after she came above the dryer I'll have for about 20-25 minutes, and of course you know we did her baby hairs and stuff on camera, and this is our final look y'all get into it.
