How To Style Afro Wig | Gorgius Hair | 7 Styles

Me what's up my beautiful youtube family and welcome back to my channel, i think i'm gon na change, my intro, because i've been saying the same thing for like a year and some change and i feel like it's getting old. It'S really crazy. Um. I'Ve only had this well, i've had this channel since i've had youtube, but i've only been like really posting um videos consistently since, like the end of 2020, and i think we've had like a lot of growth. So i really just want to thank all of my subscribers old and new and all the beautiful new faces that are coming to my channel. I appreciate you guys, hopefully in 2022 we can continue to grow. So, as you can tell by the title, i am going to be styling. This gorgeous hair afro wig, as requested by several of you and yeah, there's so many ways that you can style this wig, i'm gon na be doing a few basic ones um. But i'm going to explain a few more and if you guys want me to do a part two just let me know in the comments first thing i'm going to do is just spray, the wig down with water and because i don't use cream of nature on My own hair, but i have this jar - i just use it on my wig. So that's what we're going to do if you want to take the wig off first, and do this that's completely. Let me take my earrings off if you want to take the wig off first and then do this. That might be easier, but i don't know i'm just going with the float today. So i'm going to just take it section by section i'm going to take a section by section and i'm going to kind of detangle a little bit and help define the curls which detangling this wig isn't hard. It'S more just tedious, because it's so thick, which is a good thing, because you know you definitely you get. I feel, like you get more than what you pay for with this wig. I honestly wasn't expecting this wig to be as good as it is. But let me go ahead and get this done. I'M gon na shut up now and then fast forward, the video, so you guys can just watch through this foreign, so, okay, so now that the titties part is done, um, i'm going to unravel these little uh twists. Just because i don't really want to mess up the like integrity of the curl pattern of this wig, because it's so beautiful um, but i just did that to kind of keep them sectioned off. While i was detangling and to keep them tame, see it's already giving you don't really even even need to do much to this wig um just to get like a cute look, but it already looks: uh really nice, just like this. Okay, so um this hair. Okay. So the first thing i'm going to show you it's gon na look really weird, but trust me okay, so you see how you know the front has bangs and everything and it's kind of more, like um, shaped toward the face. Well, this is a cool trick. If you don't want the hair in your face as much and you get more volume, so basically take the wig off. There'S a band at the back. So just make sure you lift the band. Take the wig off flip the front to the back, make sure that the band is in front and you're gon na literally put it on backward. It sounds crazy, i know, but it gives you um one. The first thing it does. Is it kind of takes away? Some of that hair - that's like framed around your face. It gives you more volume and it looks longer okay, so this is hairstyle number one um and again it just. I don't know like it's really just crazy, that this even works but um, it's kind of like a different feel from you know, wearing it the correct way, but it's still secure. It is not going to come off and, of course, you can always like um sew. The elastic band, so it's tighter, but yeah another trick. You can do with this wig since there's already an elastic band attached. You can expose the front of your natural hair. You can give yourself some edges or something like that, and you can literally turn this into. Like a headband wig, okay, so you take the elastic here, um you're, going to pull this to the front and then all you got to do is just cover up the bottom of the wig. With the elastic you can always um use a bobby pin and like just pin it down at the side, but you know it gives you it's like a quick, headband, wig y'all. Look at this! Don'T pay attention to that um! It'S a quick, headband wig! Without you having to go, get a headband wig, so this is multi-purpose. Okay, multi-purpose, wig and we're gon na switch it back to the front, get the wig on secured, secure the wig, secure the bag, all 20 20.. Okay! So you're going to get you a good section on one side um now, if you need to have some hair ties, make sure you have hair ties just on standby you're going to need one anyway. But if you want to section it off before you go ahead and pick up the other side, then i would suggest you do that this is much easier once you detangle the hair and i'm just going to do it once and then i'm going to go to This side and give me another section: okay, now i'm going to combine them now. I really. I love the bangs on this wig. I don't have a problem with it um because i feel like since it's not like a lace front, it's kind of cool to have them, because you don't have to do as much to style it. This is where your accessory comes in, so i'm gon na use a scarf and i usually start the scarf at the back, so that the bow is at the back. If i don't necessarily want it, like you know in the front of my head, so just right above where the bangs are i'm going to take that and the scarf is really. You know it's extra security and it just kind of covers up the edges of the wig, so you have to see that so this is style number three um. I definitely recommend like with this wig get scars y'all go to your local beauty supply. My beauty supply store the scarves like this um and the other silky ones, they're, not more than like four three four dollars, so i will stock up because you can do so much with this wig. If you have some scarves open up, the hair tie, i'm gon na put my hand through it, so that i can grab the hair in the back and then i'm just going to pull all the hair through to the front. After that, you want to pull the wig down. I use the cone just to secure it at the back same thing, with the scarf i'm gon na go around the back, make sure that the back of the wig is covered and boom. That'S how the back looks, you know you can you can fix the if you got a little beady balls in the back of your kitchen, like i do you can fix. That was that four. This is style number five! So easy. If you don't want bangs, all you got, ta do is, pin them down or you can just join them in with the rest of the hair up top. I really wanted this to be higher than it was so um we're gon na pull this down in the front. Now, if you want the bow of the scarf from the front you're more than welcome to do that, i usually just keep it in the back and boom another very natural, looking style this just for something to hold it there, i'm going to take one side, i'm Going to kind of go down the middle back and i'm going to take one side and i'm going to take a hair tie and honestly, you really got ta wrap like a couple times. Actually there's one more style that you could do with this. I'M gon na show you because i literally just thought of it: oh yeah, if you have any like hair in the bangs that shouldn't be in things just like slipping through the hair tie, it'll be fine. I'M trying to do this really fast. Now, when you're actually styling this yourself, you can definitely take your time um just so you can get it like really neat, but since i'm just trying to do this on video like really quickly, i might kind of rush you through it and then the true last One is you can give yourself space buns space buildings um, of course they can be higher, but i'm just doing it from having my hair into pigtails all right guys. That is pretty much it now, just like with any other wig, the more you style it. The more shedding you're going to have um, so i would just you know kind of go with a couple styles here and there and you know space it out. You don't have to, but that's just my suggestion and then also if you're like me, i, this is really like a on the go kind of wig like if i really want a natural looking style and i don't feel like styling my own hair. This is really something i throw on like i said in my last video like once a week or every couple weeks, so um you know, take that how you will you can do what you want with your wig but um for the most part, it's just holding Up really well, it's still soft. Like i say in every video um, it still looks very beautiful and again you can have so much versatility with this wig.
