Huge Afro Headband Wig | Cute Natural Protective Hairstyle!

Actually it is a headband wig. So i've been getting a lot of questions on my instagram about. Is this your real hair? Your hair grew so fast. Like all the questions in the book and i'm like okay, you know i've gotten questions about. Can you tell us how you got these hairstyles, your hair looks bomb, so i'm like, let me give you guys a rundown and do a video on this wig. This wig is bomb.com the best headband wig that i've ever had, and this is wait a minute. This is a synthetic wig. Yes, i said it: it's a synthetic wig, not human hair, synthetic um. So i got this wig from natural girl wig, i'm going to put up their instagram on the screen somewhere around here. So i got it from naturalgirlwig on instagram. They are a black owned company, small business without further ado, let's get into the rest of this video. What'S up beautiful people, so i'm going to start off by showing you guys the inside of the wig like i said this is a headband wig. So, as you can see, here are the straps that they have been right there, and here is the cap to the wig. I will say that this wig fits very snug to the head, which i really really do. Love and right now, because i have worn this wig quite a bit, probably for about a month plus non-stop, i'm going to be doing maintenance on the wig, and you can also do this before you ever put the wig on your head. You can shape it. A little bit maybe trim it a little bit whatever you want to do, but right now i am making sure that the wig is shaped and all the knots and tangles that have occurred are cut out of the wig, because this wig is synthetic. So, as you can see, i'm taking my little scissors and cutting off all the pieces that are causing some type of matted tangle look, so i'm going to take a little bit of water from this spray bottle and spray on this wig. I don't know if this works or whatever, but i just felt the need like it would work or whatever. So that's what i'm gon na do, and it has a little bit of silicone in it. So hopefully it softens up the synthetic wig. So here is my hair, my natural hair all blow dry, all clean washed and ready to go. This is usually how i have my hair before i put it in this wig, sometimes a lot of times. It isn't blow dry just to avoid having to constantly put heat on my head, but i'm going to take a rat tail comb, preferably one with a metal end a sharp end and i'm going to begin by creating my middle part. I usually like wearing a middle part with this headband wig. If you don't want, no part, don't do no part, but i like wearing a middle part with this wig. So that's what i'm gon na do. I'M gon na begin by giving my hair a little bit of moisture honey, so i'm gon na use the mishi beauty curl, defining cream, and this cream is so so moisturizing. I love mishi beauty so much. They are a black owned business. If you can check them out on instagram, and i'm going to put that at the front of my hair to make sure that the front of my hair is moisturized, usually i put it throughout my entire head, but because it's blow-dried um, i don't need to do All that much right now and i'm going to take some castor oil and take care of my edges. I'Ve been having a lot of thinning on my edges. I naturally have thin edges wispy edges, but they have been extremely thin and they have been breaking low-key. So i'm going to throw some castor oil on that baby, just to make sure that it is taken care of, and now i'm going to take my ego style of gel and we are going to get the front of our hair slick down. It really does not take that much to slick down the front of my hair and i'm going to take this brush that i got from the beauty, supply, regular, degular and just brush the front of my hair until the gel is all into the front of my Hair and my hair is slick down and, as you can see, that was super easy because, like i said, my hair is blow-dried, so i don't have to do as much licking. So i'm going to take this satin scrunchie and literally i'm going to put my hair into a ponytail. Look at that puff, yes, honey! As you guys know, my two-year big chop anniversary is coming up in august and the growth is amazing, but i'm gon na put my hair in a satin, scrunchie and satin. Scrunchie would just help to not cause as much friction, and i don't tie it too tight. As you can see, because we don't want to cause any extra tension and i'm going to take a wig cap, it could be any color wig cap because, like i said this is a headband wig. So it's not like there's any lace showing through. So i'm going to take this brown stocking wig cap and put that over my ponytail and because this hair is so big, i don't have to worry about having my hair super duper flat, which is why i don't even go through the trouble of doing cornrows or None of that or braids, and now i'm going to just plop the wig on as you can see, this is in real time. This is how quick it takes me to put this wig on in the morning literally one two three boom, i'm at the door. So, as you can see here, are these straps hanging right here and so i'm just going to connect the straps at the back like so like that, and now i'm going to be taking the edge booster pomade and just making sure the edges are on fleek. We need the edges to be popping, can't can't neglect the edges, and that is it literally. This wig has been so so easy easy. As one two three look at the fullness babes, it looks like it's cut. It'S mine, it looks like it's mine. The texture of this wig - it's just amazing the quickness, and so i did a little hairstyle today because i was feeling it so i did a couple braids at the front and tucked the headband portion, but yes, this is it.
