Wow New Hack! You Don'T Have A Kinky Curly Headband Wig?! Try This..Low Cost And Easy| Step By

Hey there welcome to my channel. My name is pissa linga. Today, i'm going to be giving you a hack in case you don't have the headband wig by using a kinky, kali braid and creating your own headband. So stick around for this tutorial. So i'm going to be using selfie, which is a darling hair product. Well, this works best for me because it has the kind of curls i want, but if you have a similar kind of braid, you can as well use it. So let us go right into the next step. The first step is to make a bowl of hot water where you're going to dip in the braid. Basically, this is just to make it stretch a little bit more compared to its original size and to make the curls more defined. So you leave it in there for just a few minutes and then afterwards you remove and dry in a towel. Please make sure you dry in a towel, do not use a blow dry because it will destroy it. So let us go right into the next step. This next step is uh patting the braid because they come when they're thick. So when you're going to be patting, you have to do it so gently like that. The way i'm doing so as your pattern and you feel like the tips are becoming hard to to to separate you stretch it a little bit but gently and then, while it comes off like that, yes, my hair is now ready for crocheting. I already sectioned it and i did my cornrows off the camera. Basically just to save time, and i left a section of my hair out the front part. But, depending on how far or near you want to tie the headband, because that is where we're going to be tying it and depending on how far you want it, but make sure you always leave out that section. So let us go to the next step. Right now, i'm just basically crocheting in and when you look at the braid it looks amazing after i did the sectioning remember. I told you that those braids normally come so thick, so one packet is actually enough because in one braid i sectioned like three times so it is so packed. It'S so packed and it's going to be enough. But if you're the kind that loves too much hair on the head, you can buy two packs, but trust me, one pack is just enough: it's just going to look so much on my head and it will look so amazing done with crocheting. As you can see, the hair is full, like i said earlier on, one pack is enough and remember: i still had more left now. We are left with that front part which i'm going to be doing a corn row. So stick around to see the next step. You go straight into con con doing a cornrow on that front, section that i left and make sure as you're doing that cornrow you see like uh as if you're doing flat twist, you make sure the cornrows appear at the end and as you're braiding i mean As you're doing the cornrow, you hold it so tight as you're, seeing the way i'm doing and you make it so flat, and another thing that i want to tell you is that at the end of it, i am going to again crochet in exactly into those Cornrows, okay, because i don't want that part of the hair to be seen to fill in the hair. More so make sure it is flat and also if you want - or if you don't want, you may put a j you may put gel. But personally i feel i preferred to put gel yeah, so it will just make it a little bit more flat. This is the important part actually that cloth that stuff you see in there is a cloth i cut from my old dress, i'm no longer wearing it so that i could make it into a headband. So you just put it at the back of your head and you make sure you cover up the pad that has not been cut neat so that it doesn't appear. You know when it appears it looks a bit um messy. It doesn't look neat, so someone will know that this is just fake, so you make sure you balance them as you're bringing them to the front, and then you just flip. I don't know if i'm using the right one, but you just turn it around. You hold it like that. You turn it around mhm. You turn it around like that, as you bring this other one, this other side and the other on the other side. So, basically, what i'm just trying to do there is to cover up the part that i didn't cut out. Neatly. Yes, so after that you just wrap it backward, and then you just take it backward. You pull it up and a bit in front to cover up that line. You can adjust it uh, make sure it looks a bit tight and too tight, so you take it behind and then you tie it to the comfort of your head or you know if it is too tight and you feel like it's pressing you, you can release It and then you make sure you cover up the that front area so that it doesn't look a bit messy. You know we want to create the illusion that it's a wig to make it look real, so you tie it behind and then you know they're those excess ends. So what you're going to be doing with the excess ends or the excess tail after you have tied it, you will just bring it upward and then you fix it right inside on the side. Trust me: it will not come off as long as you've tied it properly, tie it twice and then the excess tail. You just bring it on the side and then you tie it inside yep and there you go there. You go perfect. It looks like a wig, so guys i'm up to do my makeup and again and then i'm going to show you how the final look comes out.
