Hey Wiglets!!! This is part two!!!

The video is pretty dark, I apologize! Still gotta figure out a better lighting situation!!!

The first part shows how I prepare my hair into a wig prep for huge luxorious hair made from stacked wigs; and the second shows how to anchor that puppy down!

Hi everybody welcome to today's tutorial, which is going to be how to put on really big crazy, drag. Hair bob couldn't be here today, but you know Bernadette's here, so it'll be good incase. If you're wondering yes, it's me and I'm Andrea, so this tutorial is going to show you guys how I did this humungous hairstyle so stay tuned Here I am I'm not fully done. I don't have eyelashes or a lip on, but um it's night time. So it's kind of hard to see, but there she is. I don't have any lip on Hollywood even pencil, so I have like no upper lip right now. I love a strong cheek in a strong forehead, so I always pump that up a lot when I paint so here she is so I'm going to start with this blonde lace front that I have so I'm going to put on front back like this. I'M gon na shimmy it down on my head first to try to try to get the hairline where I need it to be, and then pull the back down her world because there are bobby pins in it. So just want to make sure that you are Center and not you are good to go so, as you can see, this wig looks a little funky right now, because it um has like some spiky bits hanging out in the back. I love that got ta be putting a fall over top of all of this, so you won't even see it, and I'm gon na have to touch up my brows a little bit once you have your lace front on your head. Let us start pinning with little tiny hair pins. You want to start pinning little tiny, hair pins and you want to put them behind the front hairline in the hair. So you really you don't want to see them. You want to kind of push them back and tied them snugly in the hair and a lot of times. If it's bet over here, I will kind of put it through and pull the wig down and then pull it over and then you can see I'm attached right there same thing over here, put the head and into your hair earth. Okay, as this wig comes down a lot further than I have hair, what you're going to do is you're going to take your hair pin as high up as you can go, which will be up here where you can go into like pinning into your sideburns and Then you want to pin diagonally up like that and then see how that already just made that lace lay nice and flat right there, but I'm gon na glue it. I'M usually not a fan of glue. But if I'm gon na be in someone's face, like hey girl, what's up, you know I want, I don't want to flap. I was having a little lace issue and epiphany. Get painted. Madeline Hatter, like ran over, got out some glue and started gluing me into my wig Hall, and I was actually glued into it already um, but I was having some flapping issues kind of like I'm having right there, but I'll just glue that down. I basically have that pinned down just in the front. I'M gon na take big hair pins, which are these guys and I'm basically going to anchor just in the top of the wig and always want to pin going back. That'S routine, a hot dog really good. If it scratches your scalp - and you believe you know it's doing it right, then I'm just going to keep pinning back and then I'm going to go into the back of the way. You won't see the back of the wig, because I have a fall that will fit on top. But again you want to go into the weft underneath and you want to pin up in Richard I'm Albie. Please don't judge the fact that I have black bobby pins on my head. I wasn't actually going to wear this hair. I was going to wear something else. It didn't work out, so I had to spruce this up real quick. So now what I'm going to do is I'm have another wig that um it's actually the leg, part of the wig I was going to wear it didn't turn out so good and I'm going to hair pin this on the top of my head back here and This is going to act as a buck, so this is basically going to support the eight pounds of hair I'm putting on top of it. So the same thing you want to take your hair pins and you want to go in so when you're pinning your bump on. You really want to pin going on the sides you want to pin going in just to latch it in so that it's on there and then once you start pinning in the top - and I know the light, isn't great. I'M sorry if I turn my overhead on, you can't see me at all because it's 10:30 at night right now, because I strike things, don't go out until midnight at the line. Yes and then I put some pins in the back, I'm gon na just hold it in place. I actually like being a blonde out of pretty cute. I kind of like this, and this kind of people are going to ask this - is that human hair, 27. 6. 13Th showed you guys in my video on introducing the different types of wigs. So this is a wig that I different myself. So, as you can see, you can kind of see now I'm kind of getting baggy right there, that's okay, because what you're gon na do is when you put the fall on you're gon na smooth it out kind of with your fingers kind of like I'm doing Right now, just with some hairspray - and this is al net cuz - this is human hair. So I don't like to use anything too crazy on a human hair. Wig we're gon na have the big top piece, which is eight ponytails. So, together you know old-school drag right here, so you wouldn't want to make sure that you have that Center right in the middle and then you're going to have either side so tada you can see this hair is already huge and I haven't teased this at all And I'm not going to because I like having it moved naturally - and I don't want it to look too big and bulbous. I want it to look natural. So now I'm going to take my big geisha pins, which look like this. They are much bigger than a three-edged hair, pin and they're stronger, so hairpins, the smaller one and a geisha pad. Is this one they're called Gloria bell, which means Gloria's the name harp shell means hairpin and German they're from Germany they're amazing. You can order them from Amy's online. You can order them on for Manhattan wardrobe. I believe you can go and you can go into Ray's. If you're in New York, you can go into Ray's, you just applied, you can get them there. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to as you can see, they have a curve to them. So I'm going to pin everything with the curve going up that waist that way, the hair the pin will go through my hair through the wig through my hair and then back eight again or right in the center and there's a comb right in the middle of That hair piece, so I know what the center is and I'm just going to kind of dig into my wig until I find my hair, which I just found - and sometimes, if you do this a little too close to the front it'll snatch, your hairline back, which Is why I glue at the end, because if you glue first and then you put all this hair on top, you will have your case a little crazy and your repair won't be on right. So I'm basically doing five across the front one in the middle two. On either side - and I'm basically just taking the big gashes and you know putting them in to the foundation of the pieces and then pushing them into my wig and they are going into my hair, I do feel them. I feel a little scratch, which is good. If you feel a scratch, I mean to know you, do it right really heavy and it's back heavy. So I don't know how I'm going to last all night with this with new shoes and new hair, it's tonight's going to be interesting, I'm actually going to drop off a wig for a girl friend of mine. So I'm going to probably put my fake nails on in place just because she's probably going to put fake nails on too. So you know a fake nail party girl, okay. So now, as you can see this starting to take a little shape, I might have to spray it a little bit now. I only have two of these left. I used to have a whole bunch and then they all got stolen and stuff like that. So we have two more left, so I'm basically just going to pin the back down now. The amount of Falls you have to use on your head will differ depending on how big your head is, how much hair you want. So I have eight. So I have three across the front. I have three in the middle and then I have two on the bottom and it actually comes to the back of my neck right here. So I'm going to take big hair pins and I'm going to hair pin that down. As well in the back just that I don't get a bulbous, because you know it's kind of you know a lot of hair and it's a lot of me. So it's a lot of everything, but I'm just kind of see I. This is why I like ponytail wigs is because you get all that fullness and that little bit that you want without having it that not having to tease anything. As I didn't tease any of this. This is just hair, so I'm going to use some of the Japanese pins and basically here in the front, what I'm doing is I'm anchoring in this way, so that my wig won't slide back now that I have all this weight on it, you can do it Beforehand I like to do it um after I put on my hair on because then I can feel where it's pulling and I can kind of lean my head back and say: okay, I need a little more Anchorage here. These pins are so sharp. Okay, it also kind of sucks, because I don't have a lot hair on the side and that's kind of where I need my anchors or on the side of my head. So, okay, so a lot of queens would just kind of wear this as it is, I'm not one for having a big line of wig to fall, especially because this isn't a perfect match. The the fall is a little darker than my wig, just because the wigs two years old. So what I'm doing is my dress that I'm wearing had a waistband that tied the back, but I'm wearing it with a belt. So I cut off the waistband part and I'm going to tie it around my forehead like a headband, I'm not just gon na kind of camouflage any you know lines or anything in my wig and it's also going to be like a cute little 60s kind of Thing so now that it's on, I can kind of Judge my headband now kind of give it some shape. Look because it is a little crazy, and this is like really cute. Rupaul asked hair right now, which I love, because I love that woman to death. So you know it's what it is in the back of the fall down, because I'm pinning over where I tied my scarf. I swear that I'm a southern queen at heart, because I love to paint I love to pad. I love the hair. Like I love all of it, I'm totally acetylene like as if anything's wrong with that, whatever there we go, that looks cute right there, so this is actually a barrette, so I'm going to barrette it to like through the arm through the headband part. As you can see, I'm putting the barrette through and I'll clasp it so the way that this barrette is made. It should clasp the opposite way that it does it's so weird. I don't know why it clasps the way that it does been done. Okay and then I'm going to try to hairpin this into place, I don't know if I can but sure I'll actually only think I need to hairpin. I think it's okay, so the widen the mandible there. We go: okay, yeah! Now that my hair is on and pinned and shellacked and everything I'm now going to glue my lace down now, what a basically, what I do is you can see I'm flappy, so I have my spirit gum and this is the Ben Nye. The Krylon is better but um. I wasn't able to find the Kryolan in a small bottle, and I already had this and I'm a genius. Why I'm cheap? You want to make sure that if there's any hair that hangs you want to clip those out of the way, because if you don't you're going to glue hair to your forehead and that is no bueno girl. So now, basically, what I'm doing is I'm just following along my lace line with the glue with the spirit gum, and I put it underneath first and then usually for theater. That'S what I always did was just put the Spiricom on the skin. But I've realized that for drag. You need to paint over that spirit gum over the lace, because if you don't it's gon na flap, so then what I do is I take my little Beauty Blender. This is a knockoff one from like Ricky's or Sephora, or something - and I use that to tap my um, my spirit gum until it gets tacky. Oh, my god, I'm supposed to be at my girlfriend's house and in five minutes I have to put some more glue because I'm flat base still underneath here and this is human hair. So I'm not scared to get glue into the hair, because I can ask an adult. So that's one side as you can see it's down and I don't have any flippies so now the opposite side same thing paint to the glue onto your skin under the lace and then I paint over the lace which I know is bad. But you know that's what don't we got ta do a goal, and then you want to pull your legs as tight as you can. They went up and then, as it starts to get tacky, you can kind of roll the glue into it. Okay. Well there. She is, ladies and gentlemen, my big fabulous hair for the evening now I'm going to put my false eyelashes and my lip on and I'll report back soon and here she is um. So the rest of my makeup. I did a dark lip and I got some pink earrings and I got a big ear, a big ring on my finger. I need to move that up again but yeah there. She is. I ran out of time when I was recording, so I didn't get a chance to say I thank you and a goodbye as Bernadette, so I'm doing it now as myself again. So thank you guys again for watching. Lately I've been a guest at a celebrity impersonator show here in Seattle and come to find out I know so little. The performers in the show have offered huge amounts of advice and help, but your tutorials are so detailed and lovely and I can work on my "drag" on my own now. Getting a canvas wig head like NOW. xoxo

Power Cardio - Coach Alex: Do you think chalking the lacefront wig with like brown-esque colours would be a good idea to temporarily match the colours of the two pieces together?

Pavel Betker: That's great tutorial! Thank you, Bobbie!!  Nice idea with 2 wigs! But don't you afraid of using Spirit Gum for a drag look? I would recommend Telesis or smth more strong. Shane Donovan: Great job !

Marsha Hanke: You are amazing , brilliant and magnificent !!!
