Today'S video is going to be a tutorial on this gorgeous wig. That was sent to me from genius wigs. So the wig that i received is a 13 by 6 and a half lace front wig. The frontal was made out of crystal lace. It is a 14 inch, bob 180 density and the skew is gwl12. The wig comes with four combs, an adjustable strap and a removable elastic band. This wig features their new hairline, which is a grown hairline as they call it, which basically means that most of the plucking is already done for you, and no extra work is needed. On your end, the wig was made out of crystal lace, which is a newer lace that lays down flat. It is easy to melt and, of course, it melts into multiple skin tones. So i grabbed my boyfriend to be a hand bottle for me. Let'S see exactly how this crystal lace works, all right, baby, i'm ready for you just put your hand right here. First one is transparent, lathe and then the second one is crystallized. Perfect, my hand, ain't ugly. No, it was beautiful. I'M gon na use got to be you almost murder my hand. You got ta, make it sticky further. You can see it. You can see the difference. You can see the difference which one do you like, which one is more look yeah, this one yeah. Can you see the front mm-hmm? It is it's hard to lay down yeah. You said it's still good, it's still good, because if you look right here, let me spray some more on this one. I'M gon na disappear completely like this one, keep lifting that one keep lifting dang, you can't even see it. That'S both of them yeah! That'S both of them! That'S right! Right now! You can't see that at all use this and point to the one that you think is most transparent yeah, that one is really need. I'M looking at the camera, don't even like that on my hand, you can see this, so it blends into multiple complexions. I'M about to put the rest on my hand and we're going to compare, put it on mine. Can you see it like? I it putting a luna yeah, it's gone, that's crazy! That'S a good one! That is a good lace. That'S perfect! Right! Babe! Thank you! You can wash your hands. What is this? What hairspray? Oh the lace, is the wig notice, the this hairspray we have hairspray glue. It'S called, i feel like hairspray yeah. So here's how the hairline looks after placing the wig on a mannequin head. I did not do any customizing to this wig. I am very, very very impressed by the hairline genius. Wigs has been coming through with some amazing hairlines lately. I am really really really happy with this one. So the new wigs from genius wigs feature their new crystal lace, of course, and a grown hairline, which comes with less obvious knots and a deeper, gradual, hairline density. The crystal lace is soft, ventilated, see-through and more durable than hd lace. The knots are also pre-bleached for you as well. So of course, the plucking is already taken. Care of the next thing to do is tint the lace. I do not wear any bald caps with my wigs at all. I find that it does pull my edges out and honey. I don't need any more of my edges coming out, so i do spray two different colors of lace tint to my wigs. The first color is the color of my foundation, which is labeled skin, and i spray that along the hairline of my wigs and then the inner portion of the frontal. I spray a lighter shade, which is the color of my scalp. I do two layers of each color of lace, tint and then blow dry in between each layer. So the next thing that i'm going to do is part the wig in one inch sections on both the left and right side of the part, and i'm just going to add layers. When you take the wig out of the package, it does come in a very beautiful and very natural, looking blown out texture, and because of that i just want to give it more movement and body because of its length. I want it to look as natural as possible and the look that i have in mind for this wig is a very nice blown out. Curled look! So let's jump right into cutting the layers. So next i'm going to grab my flat iron and do some curls. So, as of lately, i have been obsessing over cutting the extra lace off of my frontals by using a zigzag pair of scissors. This has completely completely taken my installs to a whole other level. I would definitely suggest and recommend you try this method. If you have not already it's nothing new on youtube, people have been doing this for years, but this is my second time doing it to a wig and i'll never go back to a straight pair of scissors ever so after that extra lace is cut off. It is now time to spray adhesive on the under portion of the wig, because it's now time to put this wig on our head, y'all and melt this lace. Let'S chat all things, this texture, the lace, the melts everything the hairline and, of course it wouldn't be fair. If i didn't go outside and show you guys exactly how this lace and hair texture looks in the sun, so here it is, we are not done here. We are not done yet, so i did experiment with a few different hairstyles keep watching to see all of the hairstyles that i came up with using this wig. Yes, you read the title correctly. This wig is wet and wavy, so i am gon na i'm gon na try something out: y'all, i'm gon na wet half of the hair and i'm gon na curl that hair using a denman brush as well as some mousse. It does curl with just water on its own as well, but of course i need my curls to be as defined as possible. So i am grabbing some mousse and then i'm just going to use my hands to scrunch the hair upwards and then we're going to compare the curly side versus the blown out side. After that, i'm going to style the hair and then i'm going to try to blow out the curly side a little bit and flat iron it to see. If i can get this blown out look again so on the website. It does say that this natural texture is wet and wavy, and you are able to straighten blow dry or curl it as often or as many times as you need to. It is absolutely perfect for spring and summer and of course, we're already in spring, so save your coins girl and get this wig. It'S worth it so now, i'm just going to do the exact same thing that i did on the curly or wet side of the hair, i'm just going to wet the hair using a spray bottle of water. Add some mousse and styling foam to the hair and then use my denman brush and go through it as well as scrunch the curls using my hands and i'll show you guys the finished. Look in a second. It is a 13 by 6 and a half lace frontal. So you are able to part the hair within that amount of parting space. Now i'm just going to experiment you guys, as i was talking about earlier and with the dry side of the wig i'm just going to brush through it and then flat iron. It and after it gets fully straight and looking blown out as it did. When it first came out of the package, then i'm going to wet it again and see if it reverts back. So, let's do it and here's how the wig looks with the curls, fully dried and me swinging my hair around and taking a million and fifteen thousand pictures, because i was so obsessed with this hair.
