My Shiny Wigs Colored U-Part Review | Colored U-Part Body Wave Wig | Allaboutash

Hey guys welcome back and welcome to my channel all about ash before we jump today's video make sure you hit that subscribe button and subscribe to my channel in today's video i'm going to be doing a review of the my shiny, wigs, colored u-part unit. So if you want to see my review of this unit, how i installed it what i think about it, then just keep on watching okay. So this is what my hair is looking like right now. It was styled earlier today, but now it's just kind of in this low messy bun, but it doesn't really matter because we're about to do our hair right now. So today i will be reviewing a u-part colored wig from my shiny wigs and this wig is their 1v slash. 4 color. Do you part body, wave wig in 22 inches? And if you aren't new to my channel, then you know that i am not new to you pro wigs. I actually love you part, wigs, especially now being relaxed. It just makes everything easier and it's just nothing to be able to blend your leave out. So i definitely do love a good u-part and i've never tried a color on my e-part. So i'm excited to try out this wig today, but we're just going to do a quick little unboxing. This is what it looks like when you first open up the box. I think it's cute, the little saying on the box is shine bright, like a diamond, but in the box you have the actual wig in a satin bag. You also have a little bag, a little mesh bag and in this bag you have two wood caps. I think so yeah you get two wig caps, there's kind of a darker brown one and then there's a lighter beige, color, so that's nice and then also in the bag. You just have a comb and an edge brush. You have some tweezers and you also have like a little makeup brush. I guess this brush is mainly for if you have a wig and you want to conceal the middle of your part or anything like that, but yeah, that's all that you get in this bag and let's open up the actual bag that has the unit. This is what it looks like color looks pretty cute, i'm excited to try color, because i don't try color a whole lot, but i definitely want to so. This is what the unit looks like straight out of the bag. It actually came curled, which i really do like this is just going to make it so much easier to actually style the unit, because these curls are pretty tight. So once i blend my leave out with the unit i brush everything out, i feel like these. Curls are going to look pretty good, so that's nice. Let me do a close-up of the color. The color is almost like. I don't know how you would describe this color. It'S like. I don't know it's like a deep kind of warm chestnutty, chocolatey type of brown. I would like, if the highlights - i guess you call these highlights - were a bit brighter like a more blonde, a nice brown blonde type of color, so i may dye it. But overall i feel like the color straight out the packaging. It looks pretty good. The color actually doesn't go all the way up to the top of the. U part, but i actually do like that because i feel, like it'll, be easier to blend the color of my hair with the. U part so yeah, that's pretty much how the unit comes, and it just has a strap on which i'm about to cut off. I'M just gon na cut that right there and then again on the other side. So this is what the? U part looks like up. Top you have three cones one on each side and one in the middle and then at the bottom of the part. There'S one combed clip in the back and then you do have adjustable straps on both sides that you can clamp in the middle. So, first before we apply the unit, i need to get my actual hair together. So i think today we're just going to do a middle part. I just like the way that middle parts look so gon na try to get this as even as possible. Okay, so there's our middle part. Now i'm just going to decide how much hair i want out on both sides. I don't want too much out, especially because this view part has some color, but i still need enough to be able to cover. So i feel like that's too much. I'M gon na do a little bit less okay, so i have the two side pieces. Now, i'm just gon na go and get the back of the leave out. So i sectioned out how much hair i'm gon na leave out in the middle, and i decided to do some on the sides. I don't always do leave out on the sides, especially when it's in a middle part, but for today i felt like it. So the rest of my hair, i'm just going to gather it into a low ponytail and it doesn't really have to be tight or super secure. You just want to get it down there and then i'm simply just going to flip it back up and bobby, pin it flat to my head so that we have a nice flat base to put the unit on top of okay. So now that we got our face pretty flat, i'm just going to take a wig cap and i'm going to put it over everything, that's going to be underneath the unit. This is just going to help to protect my hair and also just make the base even flatter. Then i'm just going to take some more bobby pins and just bobby pin the wig cap down okay. So now that our base is flat and ready, we can start installing the unit. So i like to start with the back middle clip and i'm just going to clip that down. Then i'm going to move over to the side and then over to the other side. Okay, so the unit is on and i actually want to know what these curls are going to look like. So i'm going to take a brush, i'm going to comb them out, so just big bombshell, type of curls. That'S what they're coming out to be. So i think it's nice that the unit comes pretty much already styled. You may have to fix the curls a little bit. These are super curly. I'M not gon na lie. Um. I wouldn't even mind if they're a little bit looser, but they will fall so yeah. It'S really not bad just gon na comb them out as much as i can, but so far the hair feels really soft. Even the part, that's dyed, okay. So this is what the unit looks like me. Just brushing it out um, so yeah, the curls are just really big but, like i said, hopefully they don't fall, but honestly it doesn't look bad, so it looks like in the back. I hope you guys can see the color on camera. I feel like the color is actually pretty cute. I didn't know how i was going to feel about it, but i think it's going to look pretty good on me so now that the unit is completely on i'm going to start straightening my leave out. Okay. So all of my leave out is straightened, and this is what the unit is looking like. I'Ve just been brushing my leave out into the unit to kind of make it blend, and this is what it's looking like so far and then, of course, i'm really trying to cover my track and the back and blend my leave out end. So this is what it looks like in the back yeah overall. So far so good, i feel, like it looks pretty natural and i like how i left some leave out on the side, so i just blend those side pieces now i just have to decide how i want to curl it and kind of style it like. I said earlier, i don't want such a tight curl, so i'm trying to figure out how i can re-curl it without making it um super curly. So yeah, i'm gon na. Do it like a test piece? Maybe i should do it at the bottom should do it? I'M gon na do it at the side, so i'm going to test a piece and see how i want to curl it to see if i can kind of stretch the hair out a little bit but still keep it curled. If that makes sense, so i'm going to try to stretch it out with my straightener go down and not curl it as much. Oh, that actually worked. You can see this piece, you see it's still curled, but the curl isn't as tight. So i think i'm gon na go ahead and do that around the whole unit and hopefully that will come out pretty cute. I think i do like this curl again. This is just more of a relaxed natural effortless curl and the curls that it came with are kind of tighter bombshell, big type of curls yeah we're just going to go ahead and curl the whole unit and then i'll be back so okay. So i think that this is the final look. This is how the curls ended up turning out, so what i actually did was at the bottom i kind of did what i showed you guys, how i kind of loosen the curl and then towards the top. I left the curls that already came in the unit. I just really brushed them out, because when i was going through my hair, i figured out that i just kind of want it more lean. So since the bottom of the hair was really tightly curled, i just kind of wanted to loosen it up a bit and then, of course, i kept the curls up top, so this is what it ended up. Looking like, overall, i feel like it looks pretty good. I think it looks pretty natural for the most part. I mean if my hair was really this long. I feel like this is what it would look like and before i even got the unit. I was a little bit nervous about how my 1b leave out was going to blend with the colored unit, but i feel like it blended pretty well, if you guys can see that, let me put all of my hair towards the back and show you guys what It looks like, but all you really have to do is make sure that you comb your leave out in with the unit and it should blend pretty well. So, when you're just directly looking at me from the front, you can't see too much of the color. But if i turn towards the side, you can see some of that color and again on this side. I actually don't think i'm going to dye it. I think i said at the beginning how i kind of went to dye it a lighter blonde color, but i actually really do like how this brown color ended up. Looking on my skin tone so yeah, this is the complete unit i'll back up, so you can kind of see the ends. This is how i ended up curling it. I think it looks pretty good and just natural and effortless. I didn't want curls that made it look like i was trying too hard, so i really do like my final result. So yeah you guys that's it for my review of the my shiny, wigs color to you part unit. I'M actually really happy that i finally decided to try some color. I think on this part, it looks really good, of course, because it is a. U part, it looks pretty natural and yeah. You just have like nice streaks of the brown color, so i feel like it really does fit me.
