I Tried Amazon Wigs So You Don'T Have To

Oh hello, welcome back to my chanel. I love colorful hair. It'S no secret if you've watched my channel for any length of time. So when i saw these while browsing on amazon, i thought why not try them, so you don't have to so today i'll be trying two colorful wigs from the amazon seller, joe durr joe dear distant relative of john dia, one sells tractors. Let'S dive in the first one is a 26 inch long straight lace, front. Some interesting terms they put in this listing are simulated scalp. This was 36.99 with free delivery, but does it look the same in real life as it does in the pictures we're about to find out all right? Let'S open this baby up? Oh, this is gorgeous. Oh, the colors look amazing, just like the picture, sofa that is nice and long ah giving me easter pastel spring realness. Already the hair looks really nice, it is not super shiny. Like most synthetic wigs are, and i love the color gradient. Oh, this is gorgeous. It'S perfect: i love all of these colors but uh. I see what they mean when they said simulated scalp. I don't know if you can see, but there is actually a scalp material there. So it is not translucent. You cannot see straight through to your own hair, not sure if i'm gon na, like that, because it kind of cuts off awkwardly right there in the front. This also does have baby hairs. Look at that super cute, and this is a lace front. This has three clips, one on either side and one in the middle at the bottom. This wig also came with a wig cap, so i will use that it's a lot more translucent than i was expecting. This is starting to tangle already, and i haven't even put it on yet. So that's not a good sign. Oh i love the colors. This is so pretty. I'M also going to take this choker off, because i know this wig is going to get caught on it. Oh, my goodness, so obviously i need to cut the lace, but i just wanted to see what it looked like first before i do that, as you can see, the hair is nice and long. It comes down past my bust so gorgeous. I love that pastel pink. This is nice and comfortable on my head as well. So one thing i am noticing is that if you want to glue this down, it's a little small on my head, like it's not quite covering my sideburns there, i have to really pull it forward. So if you have a bigger head, that might be an issue for you. I believe my head size is 23 or 24 inches around. I kind of knew this going in, but this is tangling a little more than i would like, because it is synthetic. I am just in love with the texture of the hair. It looks so nice, it's soft to the touch. It'S not super shiny and the lace is nice too. The only thing that i'm really not liking so far is that the synthetic scalp has such a harsh cut off right there. You can clearly see where that stops and my actual forehead begins because they're not the same color. I wish it wasn't such a harsh line. There i'll see what i think after i cut the lace, but so far i am not liking that synthetic scalp at all and another thing to note: this wig is also already shedding quite a bit and i haven't even brushed it yet. So one of the things that i like to do when cutting the lace of my wigs is i like to cut a little bit of a zigzag pattern. If you cut it straight across, i feel like it's harder to blend it into your scalp or make it look natural on your forehead, especially if you're going to glue your wig down. So i just work the scissors back and forth in a miniature zigzagging motion and then the edge of the lace kind of looks like this, where it's a little bit choppy. But i think that looks better when trying to blend it rather than having a completely straight blunt line going across your scalp. So now that we've got the lace on this one, let's see how she looks glorious, i hope, but even while i was cutting the lace, this was tangling, which made me very sad, but it is synthetic. So that's to be expected, i'm just so used to my human hair. Wigs now i'm spoiled, let's see how that synthetic scalp is looking it's not as bad, but i still don't really like it, because if you get really close to my scalp, you can see it goes straight across and there's a very obvious difference between my forehead and The synthetic scalp for the rest of the hair - i do like the hairline, the baby hairs, are really cute. I do wish this was covering my sideburns a little bit. I think that's just because this wig is a little too small for my head. Unfortunately, but i do like how it looks on the colors are just so glorious, so unfortunately, this wig is a little on the thinner side, especially in the back. If you part it the wrong way, you will see the wefts and the cap of the wig, but for the most part, it's not bad. So i like this wig, but there are some things about it. I would definitely change. I wish it was thicker. I wish the synthetic scalp was not a thing or if it had to be there, that it was more gradual, so i could blend it better into my scalp. Another thing is that in the hairline you can clearly see the green knots. So if you want to make this more realistic, i would definitely recommend bleaching the knot, so you wouldn't see that and then it would make it look like it was growing right out of your scalp. So, overall, not a bad wig, but i'm not super happy with it. I'D give it seven or eight out of ten all right. So, let's open the next one. This is the joe dear lace front. Wigs 30 inch long wavy synthetic, and this is also an ombre pastel multi-color wig. This wig was 46.99 with free shipping. So, let's see oh, i love the colors. This is so pretty. This one also comes with a wig cap wow. This is long. Oh my gosh. This is insane it is so pretty, though, look at that i am actually going to be a mermaid. I think this is the softest synthetic wig. I'Ve ever touched. It'S very nice. I like this one, thank god, has no synthetic scalp, so you can see straight through and the part there. We also have three clips on this one. This one also looks smaller in terms of the cap size. Oh boy, see what you look like you beautiful creature. You, oh yeah, this one is definitely smaller. Once i take the lace off, that will probably be less of an issue as well all right, let's see what i look like. Oh my goodness! Oh i like this one too. This one does not have as much baby hair baby hairs are: oh no they're there they're just kind of tucked in wow. I love the waves. This one is so long holy cow. I love the color fade in this one. I love the purple there. It'S so pretty. This is very mermaid. I also really like the hairline on this too. Thank god. This one does not have a synthetic scalp that bugged me so much in the other wig, and this one shockingly, even though i feel like the cap is a little smaller, it's covering my sideburns fairly well, you can definitely see the knots in this one. This one is, i think, the longest synthetic wig i've ever owned. Look how long this is holy crap. This one goes down to my hips guys. The interesting thing about this one is that it has different layers of hair. A lot of the wig stops here, but then these blue strands are super super long wow. I kind of like that, though it gives it a little more dimension. I cannot believe how long this is. I love the color combinations on this one. A lot. I especially love the waves too. It gives it a whole different look and i'm really impressed with how soft the hair is. It feels really nice. So i'm curious to see if this will squeeze my head less once i cut the lace, so, let's find out cutting the lace did make a little bit of difference. My head is not being squeezed nearly as much and i was looking at the back of the wig, so i was worried about this being a little thin, but it looks like you can't see the wig cap underneath you can't see the wefts from the back, which Is fantastic? I would say, though, if you want to make this look a little more realistic. You could definitely do some plucking behind the hairline. I do love, they have baby hairs here. That'S super cute, but overall i'm really happy with this wig. It looks great. I am so glad it is actually super long, because that was one of the main reasons i wanted to get this one once i style this up a little bit and do some space buns or even just pull it back and do some braids ugh mermaid fantasy Everywhere i love wearing hair like this, whether that be at home or out in public. Seeing the looks on little kids faces is always super cute because they think i'm either a mermaid or a princess. Honestly, if i didn't have to worry about damaging my hair by bleaching it, this is what my normal hair would look like. So now i get to live out my fantasies without damaging my hair ugh, i'm so happy with this wig.
