Hi everyone welcome back to my youtube channel, so in today's video i am going to be doing a little tutorial on how to get some major volume in your wigs and in your unit. What i've basically done is pop on a wig already, and i will be using this wig to show you how i get some volume on top just how i like to style, my wigs more sort of when i'm going out just to get a lot of volume On the top - and it is some kill so basically just a styling video a day - it's sort of the finished look that i will be going for and if you want to see how i do that then make sure you do keep watching. So first things. First, the wig that i am wearing it is called lena and it is from nuala, so nawala do the most on real wigs. Honestly, i'm obsessed this wig is washed. It'S straightened and i didn't want to like wash it all fully, because it's not ready for a full wash yet. So i'm basically going to show you how you can get like your dry wig to nice, big volume without having to wash it all, and you can. However, wash it all and if you are going to wash it all, what you can do is i usually wash mine off my head, so you would just wash it as normal. Do the first step what i'm gon na do on this wig and that is basically creating some volume on this bit and then i'll. Let the rest dry naturally! And it's just because i like my volume more here and if you like volume everywhere, then you can do this stage all over. But i don't really like that. I just like it on the top bit. So i'm going to show you what i i mean. Basically, so so i'm going to wet this front bit first i'll, do it off camera, because all i'm literally doing is rinsing it getting it wet once i've done that, i will come back and then show you what to do next. Okay, so that is it nice and wet just on the front section, not all of it, and please bear in mind that i would usually do this once i've just freshly washed the unit just for the purposes of this video, i'm not gon na wash it all. But i kind of do the same sort of process, whether i've washed it all or just wet in the front. Next, i'm gon na put in some of the carrot, carrots, i think that's how you call it nutritive. It'S it's spanish! I think polish and nourishing milk blow dry care for dry hair, so it is like a leave-in. I don't know what it is. I haven't really tried it yet. Oh, it's kind of like a cream basically and i'm gon na put it says you can put this as a leave-in. It'S polishing notion, anti-roughness, anti-dullness, blow-dry, milk for dry hair, high heat protection for heated styling appliances or hair drying leave in so that's why i'm putting it in now just to get some heat protection on there smells amazing too. You definitely need some heat protectant, whether it's spray, whether it's something like this just so that you aren't damaging the hair anymore, especially with wigs, because you want them to last as long as possible. Here'S to apply this to a towel, dried hair, which this is what it is, and next i'm going to put in just some mousse, i'm just using the bristol as volume and body mousse. You just all know i need some more loose and then i'm just kind of combing it through the front here it's kind of like i'm, concentrating it here, mostly rubbing it in and then through the rest of the hair, because you won't miss it and basically just To hold you need something to hold that volume in place, and that is how moose works learnt this as well from angelica. She is a hair, hair, stylist cos cosmic cosmetologist, that's what they call them, and so she taught me how to do all of this. Basically so go and follow her on youtube; instead i'll tag her instead below and then basically the best thing i've found ever is this. So you know when you blow dry hair and they have like a comb that looks like this and a blow dryer, and they do like this two thing with both hands. I cannot do that to save my life, so this is two in one. This is basically a blow dryer, but a curled barrel version, and it works so so good, especially for this. What i want to do right now boom through the hair. Just so it's all nice. I'Ve got no tats and i kind of combine it in front of my face and then what i'm going to do is i'm going to curl it like backwards over like that and that's how you're going to get the volume. Basically. So that's what i'm going to do with the blow dryer right now so i'll turn it on and we'll go for it. This is definitely an arm workout as well, and - and it does take a little bit of getting used to like to be honest, i'm still kind of getting used to this process, sometimes sectioning it like. I just did there, so i just did the back bit. First then, going on this very front bit that can help, and sometimes it might feel a little bit tacky as well, just because it's like mid drying and enough just feel like the hair gets very like sticky, but yeah we're just going to keep doing that on The front bit i've just sectioned it again, it's kind of like this little bit here that i'm trying to get to go back um, so just keep working with it until it's dry, so i've just finished drying that top middle section. So then, basically, what i do is i'll just kind of comb back these side bits like that and that'll get it like direction like getting it dried off my face. So that is a dry now. You can already see the volume on this front section and that's what we like to see now. I look a little bit crazy right now, but so next part what i'm going to do is. I am going to put some rollers just in this top bit and you can already see like the effect that's given already in terms of volume, so you can just see exactly how good that technique works, but yeah i'm gon na pop some rollers in this top Section section that i've blow dried normally when i wash it as well by the way. I do this all like off my head, but obviously i had it on today and i thought you know what i need to film that video. So i'll start with this section again we're going to go in the same direction that i blow dried in just take that roller right to the bottom and then just roll it up right until you get on top of your head and then i'm just going to Take a little pin, curl and put it in the bottom of the ruler and then see him for this section and then usually this is where i get to and then i leave all of this to dry. Naturally, that is if i've washed it all fully. So now that i've got those rollers in i'm going to curl all of this bottom bit so as usual, what i'll do to kill is i'll separate into sections and then curl just going to give you a few sort of brief indicators on how i do curl. My unit usually again i'll, do this on a wig head and not on my own head. I find it much easier, not doing it. On my own head, curling wand warm up a little bit by the way. For that barrel, i just used a tresemme one. You can get these all over like amazon boots. Anything like that, so just have a little look and you'll find one for my curling wand. I am going to use the mark heel. It basically has adjustable top, so i've got like two of these and you can get different ones. That'S why i really liked it, because all you would need to buy is the different tops and then you can take them up and on, and so i'm using this one. It is quite a thick barrel. I like my curls to be quite loose. So that's why? I'M using that one for my curls. I basically do with sections i'll drop. The bottom middle i'll probably do about three sections here before i reach the top, and i always curl them away from my face hand mix. It doesn't really matter, but if i'm curling them or like off my face, then at the middle of the meat it kind of gives like a flowing like wavy effect and it'll all come into one if that makes sense. But if you have them going in opposite directions, that just means it's going to have a bit more of a messier, wavier texture. Without a doubt, i'm gon na burn myself. Usually i have like a little um a little glove to put on, but i don't know where it is so you're gon na witness me being on myself today, 100 so much harder doing on my own head, but usually i'll catch. It hold it for a little bit, let it cool down and then drop the curl. I mean while i'm doing this as well. I might as well just talk about this wig for a second, so i did do a full review on this wig. You can go and check it out on my youtube channel and it is the lina wig, it's literally one of my favorites, honestly, it's so natural, so i'm just beating myself again. Obviously i shouldn't talk. While i'm doing this, what girls could multitask clearly not so then we're going to go the other way with this one but yeah like i was saying this is the lena wig. You can find a full youtube review on my channel if you want to go and check it out, but i got this when i was last shooting with nuala. It was a custom one originally now it's on the site, because it's so beautiful concluded that i definitely can't talk while i do this because i've just burnt myself again - and this is also another reason why i don't do this on my head, because i always burn Myself - okay, next section: okay, so i'm just gon na do this section, as i did with that previous section and i'll resume back once i've basically done the rest of the hair. Okay, i'm back i've curled, all of it. I'Ve got a like nice, cold, compress on my arm because i burnt myself so the next sort of part. What i do is i don't comb these curls out. You want to leave them as they are, while they're cooling down so they're just sort of sitting in that nice curl, usually because the rest of my hair is wet. I will leave these rollers in overnight and when i take them out, they've had time to fully cool in that curl and then i'm basically going to follow the same direction that it's been in. The roller in the curler now same direction. If you want, you can split it up and do it in like two and let that one drop back make sure to comb through this. Just before you do curl it, though, and we're gon na just let them cool a little bit, because you know they need to cool down set in those curls. This is why noah are literally my favorite company. Just look how good that color is and like when you put them in curls, it really brings out the colors and all the balayage and highlights it just looks amazing, and what i'll do is. I will pop sort of some hairspray on right now, just to keep that yeah. I would sometimes put some hairspray on now just to hold the curls in i'm just gon na brush them out now anyway, either use a wide tail comb to brush them out, or i just like to use my fingers and i'll just run my fingers through all Of it - and you can just see that volume you can put your pattern where you want it to as well now, and i usually just hairspray that in you can keep it so it adjusts and you just if you just want to flip it about you, can Do that i think i'm going to keep my partner about here. I have to say this is also a reason why i absolutely love face framing. How good does that look, obviously just gon na use some hairspray just any of these little flyaways just to control them and use a hairspray to sort of keep it in place, have a light, little spritz and then just get those flyaways under control. You can really see what i mean by the direct the way i've curled it is that you can see all the curls are like going back and they get go into one unreal. That is what i absolutely love up and out of my face, that mousse is going to hold it up as well. So you keep it in this hairstyle for a very long time and that i'm obsessed, so i basically this would be like my go-to night out kind of hair like curled. Have the topic blow dried just because i like that volume at that section, or i can do this and straighten it all just depends what you fancy. Basically, i think this would really look good if, like there's a cut where you know it's a bit short of these sections, i thought i'd show you, because i did this for my birthday and i was obsessed with how it turned out and then ever since i've Just been doing my units like this, and it's usually once i've freshly washed. This is how i would go about styling it, so i thought it would be quite useful for anyone who is interested wants to learn how to get their units with a lot more volume. This is definitely the way to do it, but yeah i'm gon na link the wig down below. So you can go and check it out. Remember it's from nuala. It'S called lena, but everything will be down below if any products that i did use that maybe didn't pronounce very well that will be down below as well, for if i can find them online, but thank you so much for watching.
