Hello, gays. I welcome back to my channel today. I have a video on how I get my dreads under wigs and make it look really flat and natural. If you are not subscribed to me already make sure you go subscribe. If you have dreads, I have a whole bunch of other dread videos makeup fashion, all like so just join the daisy family and we'll get right on with the video. It'S pretty easy to get my dress under wigs. It'S pretty much the same as if you have straight hair what you would do just write down your hair, put away, capo on and put the wig on whenever I'm about to do it. I make sure that I have a spray bottle, some bobby pins and this um wait cap or stocking cap. It'S not a mesh cap. It'S a stocking cap, so it'll fit really really tight on your head and then also your favorite moisturizer. You never want to work with your hair when it's dry, not moisturized, because it will break strands and it will pull. It will be really uncomfortable. You just don't want to do that. So first things. First, let me just take down this style that I have okay. So my hair is down. I put some oil in it um earlier this morning when I was getting ready, but I will just spray it down with a little bit of water just to make sure that I'm not working with my dreads while they are like completely dry spaces. How do you part your hair is important because you want it to be really really flat. You want your dreads to lay as flat as possible, ow, usually like kind of part down the middle, and then from that. I will just take a hair tie kind of get this side out the way, I'm that I'll probably do two or three breaks on this side. So I'll just take a section. Sorry, if I'm looking up this way, I'm looking in my mirror but I'll just take a section of hair. Hopefully you can see that and braid it like just regular hair and I actually find that it's easier to braid dress because they're already like three sections. So just grab and go if you're good at braiding. You can probably breeze through this. I find that it helps me when I take my time, because it allows the braid to be just that much tighter, which means that it will lay down just a little bit more flat. As you can see, I'm getting near the bottom. You want to braid all the way down to the bottom. As far as you can. My hair is a little bit uneven, so but that's fine and then once you get to the bottom, just take a rubber band and tie it up. Okay, so off-camera! I went ahead and just breaded down my whole head. It'S really tight now this is the important part, because we have all of these little tail and pieces. All that I do is take the tail ends and put them in the spaces of the braids. So let me show you what I mean I'll just take this and place it right in this space in between. So you see how just took that and put it right in the space in between, so that it can kind of still lay flat, because it's in that little dip area, but the excess won't be hanging down. I was not able to find any rubber band, so I have bothered hands up the end of all of these, which is probably still going to be helpful, because when I pull the end up, I can kind of bobby pin it and like kind of position it In place I'll do a few on camera and then I'll just do the rest off-camera so that you can just get the gist of what I'm doing right now, you, okay, so I have it all like pinned up and everything Loki, it kind of be. It can kind of be like the style if you finesse a few things about it, but this is it. Of course, I missed a drill when I was braiding it, but that's fine, so um I kind of do this, one that was on this side. I kind of positioned it to a farther towards the back, because I didn't like how I was holding out on the side you kind of want it to be flat on the top and flat on the sides. These are just little flyaways, but you want it to be flat on the sides and flat on the top. For the main part, you can have most of your bulk down here toward the bottom, because if your hair is hanging, is it hanging straight? It will kind of hide the voltage if you have curly hair, that's even better, but if you have a lot of the bulk on the top or on the sides, you can see it easily, especially if you have a flatter wig. So you just want to make sure that at least most of the bulk is at the back. We have this stocking cap, and this is just to take care of like all of the flyaways and also to hold everything in a little just a little bit tighter than it is right now, if you do have hair in the back that when you pull it, It kind of hurts you can leave some of your dreads out and then before you put the cap on just place them over put the cap on and it'll be perfectly fine. So all we do is start from the back and then pull toward the front. This is so funny. I look weird okay, so there we have it everything it's nice and secure. This is how you want it to be it's easier to wear waves over dreads when it's a curly wig, because it can hide some of the lumps and bumps, and it's just it's just easier, but I'll show you both I'll show you how to put on a Curly wig and then also how to put on a straight flat week now I'm trying to get all these feathers out of this wood because I had it in like my craft box. So I have like my wigs and then like some feather boa types of. I actually made this wig it's in one of my videos, how to make a crocheting, wig or DIY crochet wig, something - and I like it, because it's a mesh capsule, it's really really stretchy, so it doesn't put extra pressure and tightness on my head. Whenever I put the wig on so just put this on, oh and then you know I'm just like I do a regular wig adjust it and play with it. Make it look how you want to look well, there is the first way. Let me do it with the glasses, as you can see the bulky part in the back. You get not really noticed, because the hair is so voluminous and fluffy. So this is the back. You can only really notice if you went like this, and I mean obviously there's you know a bulge here, but under that you don't really notice, so that one is done and then I'll show you how I put these straight wig on. So I want this week in the revamp your wig video. It used to be, I think, 18 inches long and I cut it and done all that stuff. If you want to see how did that just go to those videos, this is also been sitting in my little craft box, so it doesn't have the best style. It is not really kept up, but that's video, it's not about the wigs. This video is about the drips under the wig, so I'm just going to show you the gist of how I did this do not use these wig combs. If you have dreads really, even if you don't have to rinse, it will pull back your hairline and you will be, it is not good. I look you're a Z, then just pull this toward the hairline area and I need to go. Get a brush make. It look up. Oh Lord, I notice that when I do wear my wig, the wig cap does not go all the way over my head, which is another reason why I have to use bobby pins. As you can see, the wig cap is like right here and then there's the brown stocking cap, so it doesn't necessarily go all the way like down. You don't want to force it unless you're trying to do like an up ponytail or something where the sides are going to be showing you do not have to force it. You don't want your hand to be hurting and you don't want to be paying all day. Just because you wanted to wear a wig, just use bobby pins to secure the way wherever you want to place it. So if you want the front right here, I usually just put a bobby pin right there BAM and the hair covers it. It'S fine and then for the sides. Kind of just like find a good spot to secure the bobby, pin BAM. There'S another bobby pin that side is secure, but they have over less than at least I'll put another one on this side and we have it. Our wig is own. It is red top. Oh yes, honey and look it's not going to win. I'M combing it! It'S not going nowhere. My word is good tomorrow I forgot. I even had this thing the back, so I cut this wig. I didn't really I'm not a hair, stylist or anything so the back of the wigs. They look crazy either way, but I just want you to see if you can see the Bulge and that, because I know with the straight hair, the bolt is a little bit more notable. So the back as you can see, you can't really tell that. There'S a bulge other than the fact that the wig is has been in a ponytail, so there's like an indentation, but without that you can't really tell that there's a bulge unless, like I said the other one, you go like this, pretty good, it's pretty much it. I hope you enjoyed this video. I hope that it was helpful for you. I really tried to be in depth and if it wasn't, if there are any questions that you have just comment down below, as always, I will always answer make sure you subscribe to this channel and stay tuned for more content.
