U Part Yaki Silk Press On 4C/4B Natural Hair | Divas Wigs

Thank you. Thank you. In today's video we have partnered with divas wigs divas. Wigs is a wig company and i am going to be trying out their u-part wig. This u-part wig is their straight course yucky. You part wig in 120 inches, so we're just gon na take the hair out of the satin bag, and this is what the hair looks like. So it's a lot silkier than i was expecting. I was expecting it to be a little bit more yucky, which means that i'm gon na have to straighten my hair to be able to make the hair blend. So the first thing, obviously we're going to do - is wash the hair. We go over this every single video wash your hair guys before you start wearing it just for your safety after i washed the hair, i went in and blow dried the hair since it was straight hair. It didn't really matter about. You know destroying a curl pattern or anything like that. Then i went in and put the wig cap on and cut it so that it could make a? U and i tried the wig on really having a hard time trying to situate the wig cap and the wig and my hair, because i hadn't really parted my hair in a way that was easy for the hair to come out. But i did end up undoing my hair and seeing how i could work with it. I noticed that the wig was getting in my way, so i took it off. Then i took the wig cap off too and then i decided to blow dry my hair, so i went in with my paddle brush blow dryer just to straighten out my hair. Obviously i applied some heat protectant, the heat protectant that i use is from schwarzkopf. After i went and blow-dried my hair after i went in and blow-dried my hair, i had to do the inevitable, which is straightening my hair guys. I haven't straightened my hair since i don't even know when um like two three years ago. The only heat that i applied to my hair is blow drying my hair, so this is the first time that i will be straightening my hair in a very long time. I was very nervous, but i just did it and i made sure i doused my hair in heat protectant first, so i didn't do too many passes of the comb and i had my hair straightener on very low heat. So it wasn't. You know the silkiest silk press, it really wasn't a silk press at all. It was just a press just because i was really cautious about my hair and i don't i didn't want to have any heat damage or damage my curls, those of you who ask i did go in after with my honey mask just to restore and rehydrate my Hair and no damage was made so we're all good. Then i went in and tried the hair out, and it was looking so much better this time around with my hair straightened, then i sat down because i knew this was going to take a while and it was really really hot in the bathroom. It'S getting hot. These days, so it's getting harder and harder to be in there for long periods of time, but anyway we did it, and then i just divided the hair um accordingly, so that it closes the, u part nice and evenly so after i did that i went in And brushed my hair and my hair was already starting to react to the humidity and puffing up again, so i did go back in with some light strokes just to allow the hair to blend a bit better. So this is what the hair ends up. Looking like. Obviously, if we had done a silk press, this would have blended in or if the hair was yuckier, yucky coarse, it would have blended evenly, but regardless this hair is actually doing really well and it looks really really cute. I really enjoyed wearing this hair. I haven't seen myself with straight hair in a long time or ever. I don't have any wigs and things like that, so it was quite nice. I would definitely recommend this wig for girls with relaxed hair. I think this would blend in swimmingly.
